Service was a little terrible but we know it was one kid serving us and he told us straight up. Any mix drinks weren't available as there was only one service. The karaoke is a no go if you are scared of Covid because the karaoke remote was definitely not sanitized. The waiter told us there are covers for the mics in case we have diseases. We were a bit like wtf because that's a rude comment but whatever because the waiter must have been only like 20. Waiter never cleaned up any mess, there is literally zero service even if u pay, he asked for us to go outside to accommodate him. tried this place last night and it was a total disappointment. Our waitress was great, the food good but the bartender was horrible. We sat there watching him for over 30 minutes just walk back and forth at the bar not making any drinks. Our waitress even went up to him to ask about our drink orders and still he just kept walking back and forth just refilling stuff not making any drinks. he even walked up to our table and rudely asked us if we had a question cause we were watching him. He was pissed and wanted to start an argument with our table. We ended up cancelling our drink orders which were all simple drinks on the rocks. Honestly you just go here for the "vibes" and to drink. The food is really not that great, especially for the price. The last time I was here the staff was not friendly at all. They fail to inform you that when you are ready to order, you should press the call button. My friend and I were trying to get attention from a server and this girl just looked at us multiple times and never asked if we needed assistance. The staff here are friendly and accommodating to try and get you everything set up as efficiently as possible. They come in to check on you every so often and are friendly, making sure everything is running okay. Plenty of parking and located in Katy Asian Town so lots of things to do around the area also! Went there yesterday for lunch with the family. We were pretty excited since this place had good reviews. Sadly we were deeply disappointed. We ordered the seafood pancake and asked for it to be extra crispy. I've done this many times at other Korean restaurants. Waitress said "no it has to be soft there's no way to make it crispy." I should've taken that as a warning, but I didn't. She was right. The entire pancake was soggy. No crisp edges or crispy areas. We also ordered chili cream chick and the nuggets of chicken we so dried out and tough on the outside that it was hard to chew and swallow. The tonkatsu (fried pork cutlet) was also overcooked and dried out. Our last dish, takoyaki, was undercooked. It needed another 5 mins in the pan. The center was very mushy like uncooked batter. The complimentary white rice was mushy as well. We were all disappointed after spending $70 and left 3/4 of the food on the table uneaten. Sadly we have no desire to come back and try anything else. We stumbled upon this cool place while searching for a great karaoke bar. This place met our expectations highly. The karaoke rooms gave us enough space for a big party, and the place has a big selection of songs from pop, Kpop, Jpop, and other songs in different languages. The staff was excellent and helpful catering to our group. The food is delicious! I highly recommend ordering the chicken wings and fries. They were hot and crispy and not too oily. The soju drinks are tasty and kept us going for the next couple of hours. The atmosphere is very lively outside the karaoke rooms, and the place enforces social distancing and Covid protocols. The restrooms were very clean, with two stalls. I noticed the wifi password was a very long math problem, so good luck to solving it. The karaoke rooms aren't sound proof, but it's still private and can tune out other rooms. Our party had a fabulous time at this place. Came here with a group of friends for karaoke. We were fortunate enough to stop by one a day while they were having a 30% back to school discount for karaoke rooms so we paid $30/hour for a group of 8 people. The room was extremely spacious and was quite clean walking in. Right when we walked in, the staff taught us how to use the keypad to input songs and was quite helpful when we had questions. One thing I really liked about this karaoke system was that there were a variety of languages to choose from (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese) so the experience was even better because everyone in our group was able to find songs they love in their language!! There was a wide selection of food to order and lots of soju, beer, cocktails, and liquor options. I think the only downside was that if you were looking to order more drinks or food off the menu you had to walk outside to the bar area to do so. With so much singing going on, water and drink refills were frequent among the group, so people were going in and out of the room quite often. I think installing a bell or light indicator would help give a better experience without the need for so many interruptions. Another downside to the experience was learning to use the keypad was somewhat confusing. There's just so many buttons in so many languages that it left us with a couple of friends having to be stuck with the task of inputting songs for the rest of the group. Hopefully they can develop a cheat sheet in the future so everyone can have an easy way to figure out how to use the system. Overall, I think it was a great experience despite some minor aspects I'd want to change about the experience. At the end of the night we had loads of fun and left with great memories. I was so excited about finding Korean fried chicken in the area. I thought it would be as good as dak and boo. There was a packed house and long lines but we were seated quickly. We ordered the Korean fried chicken, ramen and rice with egg. The chicken was burnt and flavorless. Not a kick of seasoning. I assume that's why they give you the little cup of salt and pepper on the side. But for $16 I expected so much more. The ramen was for my 8 year old and we asked the waitress if it was spicy and she said no. She lied. It was too spicy for the adults much less him. So we ended up eating white rice with a fried egg on it. The service was atrocious. We never got refills or asked if we were ok. There's a bell to press when you need help and it only got answered twice. I had to go get my own straws and find someone to bring the check. Never again and I wish I could get a refund. This is the third time I come here and honestly only the first experience was good...the last two, I found they don't clean their karaoke rooms including remotes, mics, seating, and table well. Everything was so sticky, there was sauce on the remotes, had the wrong one at first so the guy brought me the correct one but was also dirty (chunks off food and sauce) and missing the backspace button which made it a hassle to choose songs. The guy which I'm guessing was the manager, seemed to be in a bad mood the last two times I came. I was actually hesitant to ask him for a new remote and to clean it because he didn't seem to want to keep coming back to the karaoke room which is understandable, but dude, the room was NOT ready!! It wasn't clean, the sound system or whatever was not in the correct settings, the mic settings too. I spent much of my time trying to fix it because in my experience, whenever we ask for their help, they don't know how! I am reconsidering ever coming back. I love karaoke but that's my only motivator. Customer service was lacking and please take my advice when I say CLEAN THE KARAOKE ROOMS and everything that gets used!!
