This place is located inside of the 99 Ranch Market and one of my favorites for Korean comfort meals. The employees are always so nice and I love getting their recommendations when wanting to try something new! My go-to items are the beef bibimbap and black bean noodles. Both dishes are so filling and worth the price! The bibimbap stays hot for so long (since I'm a slow eater, this meal is perfect) and the noodles are just so good! Both meals come with banchans (usually kimchi or pickled radish) and I just eat 'em all up! If you're ever grocery shopping at 99 Ranch, stop by here for a quick bite! read more

The only complaint I have is the limit of sides that usually comes with Korean food and one piece of napkin that was given to me. I ordered the combo. The seafood soft Tofu was spicy enough to give that kick and the beef ribeye bulgogi was tender and well marinate. The onion is not fully cooked so if it's not your thing then you might not like it but I think it gives a crunch and goes nicely with the tender bulgogi. I am so happy I perused the food court of 99 Ranch Market last week to see Yori Yori there! For home-style Korean food, Yori Yori is my new lodestone. My two favorite Korean dishes of all time are dolsot bibimbap (hot stone bibimbap) and sundubu jigae (soft tofu stew). If a restaurant can make those two dishes to my liking, I am a repeat customer. I have now tried both dishes at Yori Yori and I am in -love-. I have a very sensitive stomach, and Yori Yori's cooking is clean, filling, healthy, and I have had no displays of "how could you do this to me???" dramatics from my stomach. I am now on my fourth visit... in just one week. Thus far I have only taken food to-go, and they will include with your order a free side of rice and some banchan (side dishes). So far I have had gamja jorim (glazed potato), eomuk bokkeum (stir-fried fish cake), and jap chae (stir-fried glass noodles). All have been great! I haven't had their kimchi, but I have that at home and have no need to ask for it. I am giving them a 5 because for what they are, a quick food court-style stop, they are amazing. I have had Korean food at stand-alone restaurants that were inferior to Yori Yori. Your best bet is to take advantage of their daily lunch menu which runs from 10:00am to 3:00pm. I recommend you try their BBQ Beef Ribeye ($10.99) which is outstanding! The young staff on location was friendly and food didn't take too long before coming out; it was served beautifully on wide white plates. Food portions are reasonable but contrary to other Asian alternatives, not generous enough to split with someone else. I decided to try their fried rice with shrimp ($7.99) and found it a bit bland so I'll just stick with their white rice on my next visit. I have to this review cause this spicy pork bulgogi is literally best I ever had. I'm Korean not local here I'm from korea you know what that mean is I don't like local style Korean food. I like real taste of Korean food and I just moved to Houston from Hawaii. Hawaii has a lot of Korean but I never had this good spicy pork! And so far I had ddukboki (spicy rice cake) which it's bomb as well and spicy squid, seafood tofu soup!!!! Whoever in kitchen truly know how to cook real Korean food very good. I'm more than impressed cause this isn't even a big Korean restaurant. It's inside ranch99 market who would expect to be this good!!!! We always come here at least 2 times in a month, simply we like their food. If you have kids and plan to eat there, be aware not to feel welcome. And Today the guy/owner told us to eat at food court seating area not his area if ordering from his restaurant because after we ate, we (us and 2 kids) always make a mess and he does not like that. I told him well then we are not coming again and he answered that we do not have to come back, and he does not care. So he wants the business but not providing service (clean up) by saying order here and eat at food court area? FYI we always clean and put our trays at the cart. One great aspect of the store is its small food court with delicious food. I go to Yori-Yori whenever I crave cheap but good Korean food. Delicious! Mind you, I've never had bibimbap and wish i had before today because I can eat it all the time. I ordered the beef bibimbap. It came out in a hot bowl of deliciousness with a side of kimchi and marinated tofu. For only $9, it was so filling and yummy. Hubs ordered the beef ribeye bulgogi and that, too, was so good. At first we thought it was a bit pricey ($16), but after getting the food and tasting it, it was worth it. I thought the onions should have been cooked a little bit more, but that may be their norm, and that didn't deter us from saying it was delicious. This place is enjoyable and pleasant. The antiquity it brings to its taste of cultural that indulges each bite, is a nice place to casually sit and enjoy a great meal. Lunch or dinner. I would give it 5 stars, but it is too overpriced. I wouldn't not recommend coming here with a family. Perhaps a nice date. Really bad "Korean" food!!! Like most Asian born people, I'd like real authentic Asian food, not the Americanized Asian food. Most often I find Korean restaurant food taste "real" good to me (OK, I can't claim I know what "real" Korean food is. I'm Chinese, but you get the point). I've tried Korean restaurant many times in many cities whenever I get the chance. This one is the worst by far. Last Saturday I ordered 2 dishes from this location. Boy, they suck. They are not like those Americanized food either. They are not sweet nor with lots of sauce. They are just plain not-well-cooked dishes. The spicy sea food tofu is so watery. The beef bulgogi is ridiculous: it s just dry BBQ-ed chucks of beef piled on some vegs. The beef and vegetable are not stir-fried and the beef is hard to chew. (By the way, the only other "weird" beef bulgogi I remember I've tried was one I ordered a couple of yeas back in Cincinnati. That restaurant used ground beef for bulgogi. My family complained, and the owner was nice enough to waive charge for that dish. We paid for it anyway). Let's not forget the side dishes. This is the first time ever that I've tried kimchi made from the normal green cabbage. IT'S A MISTAKE AND IT DOESN'T TASTE LIKE KIMCHI AT ALL. Can't they get Napa cabbage from the 99 ranch where the restaurant is located? All in all, after spending close to $30 for 2 dishes I was still hungry (no one else in my family wanted them, so I have the 2 dishes for myself). If you enjoy real, normal Korean food, forget about this one. There are real Korean restaurant not far away down the road. It had definitely been cooked a few times or yesterday. I told them this and they said that's the way it's supposed to taste. Yikes! We called this place to eat there by mistake. We normally eat at the Yori Yori in H Mart on Blalock and I did not know there was more than one Yori Yori on Blalock. If you search Yori Yori on your phone, it just shows the address, not the location like it does in a Windows browser. Anyway when we called we asked if they were at H Mart. They said yes. Then they asked us if we knew they were in H Mart and we said yes (it must have been three times to confirm they were in H Mart). Apparently the person on the phone doesn't know the difference between Ranch Mart and H Mart. Anyway we ordered the pork bulgogi and when we got to H Mart Yori Yori, they said they didn't have our order. So we went over to Ranch Mart and got our order. The good thing was they had their own sitting area and you didn't have to fight the crowd for the limited table space at H Mart (I really hate that - you order and someone has to sit at a table to reserve it because there are so many restaurants packed in there). The bad news is their food is NOTHING like Yori Yori at H Mart. Their pork bulgogi was mostly onions; hardly any pork. The pork that was there was stringy and devoid of very much meat or taste. (think of under cooked thin bacon) The pork at H Mart is sliced 1/8" grilled pork and is delicious. There is so much meat at H Mart Yori Yori that you can hardly finish it. This pork bulgogi was so bad I couldn't finish it (mostly because the meat was so chopped up you couldn't eat it with chop sticks). This is a totally different kitchen and nothing like the food at Yori Yori in H Mart. This is the worst I have had in a long time; I will never go back there. Avoid. read more
