Soft Tofu and beef ribeye bulgogi combo
    Phuong N.

The only complaint I have is the limit of sides that usually comes with Korean food and one piece of napkin that was given to me. I ordered the combo. The seafood soft Tofu was spicy enough to give that kick and the beef ribeye bulgogi was tender and well marinate. The onion is not fully cooked so if it's not your thing then you might not like it but I think it gives a crunch and goes nicely with the tender bulgogi. The side was broccoli and some kind of potatoes that I didn't care much for. Overall good eat!

    Beef/seafood spicy soft tofu soup

Very solid Korean restaurant! Located in 99 ranch supermarket. Convenient for grocery shopping and grabbing lunch/dinner all at once. Prices were reasonable compared to other Korean restaurants. Ordered the bibimbap w/ beef and the soft tofu soup with beef/seafood. Both were priced at 8.99$ each. Nice, hefty portions and each dish came with 2 sides. Both dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. Highly recommend these 2 dishes. The soup was my fave. It had plenty of seafood (octopus, squid, shrimp, mussels, clams), lean cuts of beef, and veggies. The flavor of the broth was aromatic and not too spicy. As for the bibimbap, it was good and filling. It came out steaming hot in a claypot. I just wished there was more beef and veggies in the bibimbap. The rice to meat/veggies ratio heavily favored rice. Also, they had a free water station. Overall, definitely worth another visit due to its convenience, value, and tasty food.

Seafood stir fry stone bowl rice

Ngl, pretty good Korean food in 99 Ranch Market! I had a stir fried seafood rice bowl for lunch one Wednesday, and it was pretty bomb. It came with shrimp and scallops, to name a few proteins. It came out *steaming* hot; and I'm proud to say I could capture that steam in a photo. :) I really liked the kimchi and sweet potatoes that came on the side. Overall I thought the dish was very flavorful, reasonably priced, and large in portion size! I'd order this again. Service is quick and friendly. Seating is plentiful and it wasn't very packed the day I went. Parking situation: on-site

Tucked in Ranch 99 but worth your time after you're done shopping and feeling hungry. The service was actually good and provided us with her personal recommendations. We decided to order the stir-fry squid and the Bulgogi lunch plate. They were both a hit! Packs great variety of flavors and portions were just right for 2 ppl to share. Each entree does come with miso soup as well. The stir fry squid had to be my favorite since it adds the right amount of heat and zest in the diverse ingredients. Will definitely come back for more! Tip: the seafood noodle soup and black bean noodle are also popular choices!

It's ok. Had bibimbap. It's fast. It just isn't a Korea Garden. But close to work. There are better places. I was having a craving this did it.

    Stir-fried Spiced Squid!

Stopped as I was in the area and have been wanting to try them out for awhile. Really enjoy being adventures with eating and have come to love Korean food and stir fried spiced squid! Had this at Tasty KO about two weeks ago and felt it was over priced and found it here to be a good price, well spiced, good texture (cooked correctly), enjoyed the vegetables and the two sides. The Kimchi could have been more fermented, but still good. Staff was nice and happy to help. Will be back to try other items

    Bibimbap to-go

I am so happy I perused the food court of 99 Ranch Market last week to see Yori Yori there! For home-style Korean food, Yori Yori is my new lodestone. My two favorite Korean dishes of all time are dolsot bibimbap (hot stone bibimbap) and sundubu jigae (soft tofu stew). If a restaurant can make those two dishes to my liking, I am a repeat customer. I have now tried both dishes at Yori Yori and I am in -love-. I have a very sensitive stomach, and Yori Yori's cooking is clean, filling, healthy, and I have had no displays of "how could you do this to me???" dramatics from my stomach. I am now on my fourth visit... in just one week. Thus far I have only taken food to-go, and they will include with your order a free side of rice and some banchan (side dishes). So far I have had gamja jorim (glazed potato), eomuk bokkeum (stir-fried fish cake), and jap chae (stir-fried glass noodles). All have been great! I haven't had their kimchi, but I have that at home and have no need to ask for it. I am giving them a 5 because for what they are, a quick food court-style stop, they are amazing. I have had Korean food at stand-alone restaurants that were inferior to Yori Yori. One thing to note is that they only accept cash for orders under $20, so break out your dollars and cents and try Yori Yori out!

Yori Yori is located inside the 99 Ranch Market on Kingsland Blvd and Mason Rd.

The menu is big, but every item on it is executed so well. The flavors are comparable to that you'll get in Korea, with the side dishes few but perfect (the kimchi, jjangachi, and radish kimchi). My favorite is the gamjatang---there is so much meat, the potatoes are piping hot, and the soup is perfectly seasoned and rich. The pancakes and blood sausages are also delicious. I love coming here whenever I crave authentic Korean food: everything from the service to the meal itself is top-tier. The prices are also very very reasonable, especially lunch prices! Parking is plentiful and it's right off the freeway. You have to come here for the best Korean food in the area---I drive all the way from the Medical Center to come here, and it never disappoints!

Tasty Ko is located further South of I-10 in an assuming plaza. As soon I stepped into the restaurant, I was hit with delicious aromas of KBBQ and seafood sizzling at the tables. I was in the mood for noodles and so was my friend - we ordered the jjamppong and the jiajiangmein. The broth for the jjamppong was super flavorful and deep with seafood notes. There were plenty of veggies (cabbage) and squid. The shrimp were small and kind of mushy - probably from a frozen bag or just not fresh. I didn't mind though. The serving size of noodles were perfect, and maybe a little bit more than I wanted since I couldn't finish the whole bowl. The jiajiangmein looked equally as delicious - my friend said there was a lot of onion in the sauce. The array of banchan consisted of kimchi, marinated bean sprouts, cold kimchi pancake, and marinated spicy cucumber. Yummy banchan as well. Tasty Ko is a great spot if you're not wanting to drive all the way to the Spring Branch area for Korean food, and not wanting to spend an arm and a leg at Katy Asian Town. Good menu selection for those who either want KBBQ or a la carte classic Korean dishes!

We ordered the Chef's Table which comes with 4 preselected meats (all beef). My favorites were the unmarinated and marinated kalbi. It's actually quite hard to find Korean BBQ places these days that don't strictly follow the AYCE model with lower quality cuts. These were very good cuts of meat. I could've probably done without the other two cuts. They were good cuts of meat, but the kalbi really stands out. This Chef's Table set comes with 2 sides, but you should know before going that banchan does NOT come along with the meal like many Korean restaurants you might be used to. So don't expect kimchi, salads, or even the lettuce wraps to come along with the meat. You can still order them of course, but will have to be included in your choice of 2 sides. We also ordered: - Seafood Pancake - pancake itself wasn't bad, but not extraordinary. The sauce for this was a bit of a let down. It also didn't arrive until the end of the meal which is unusual. But the service itself while friendly and kind was incomplete. We had to ask for a bunch of things that normally is just considered without mentioning and we didn't see our waiter visit that much after the food was delivered. - Ja Jang Myun - This was quite honestly the blandest set of noodles I've ever eaten at any restaurant. Both my wife and I have never had something taste like nothing. Which was too bad because the noodles themselves were cooked quite nicely. Not overly soft. Very disappointing. So back to the punchline, come here for the meat and skip the other stuff. I will say, they have a lot of different specials throughout the week so maybe those might be worth checking out before coming here because it is a bit pricy for what you get.
