Absolutely the place to be. Sol and sabor is a delicious cute and small restaurant located in mill creek. The restaurant itself is in a huge plaza so parking is very easy. The servers are very kind and helpful with choosing off of the many items on the menu. The food was amazing, definitely recommend giving this place a visit!

My new favorite breakfast spot in the city! I have been searching for a place like this and finally found it. They do not skimp on flavor. the chorizo, asada, and carnitas on my breakfast skillet were hot, juicy and seasoned to perfection with a layer of melted cheese. Just fantastic. And fresh squeezed oj? Doesn't get much better than that. The menu is pretty big, but I get the sense they put care into each dish. I cannot wait to go back and try something else!

My daughter took me here for my birthday breakfast and everything we tasted was delicious. I had the fruity crepes with the house strawberry sauce. I have had a lot of crepes in my many days on this rock, but those were the BEST crepes I've ever had. Ricky Bobby would have to admit he loves crepes. You have to try this place, you will thank yourself after.

So yummy! Highly recommend. The restaurant was clean. The service was fantastic. Large menu -- lots of food and drink options! The Mexican Hot Chocolate was the perfect combination and served at the perfect temperature. The quesadilla birria was so good. Can't wait to come back and try more menu items!

I got the Asadaquiles but they have lots of different kinds of Chilaquiles. It was delicious! The tortilla, eggs and Asada were perfectly cooked. The service was great, very attentive and nice! I loved the decorations and ambiance as well.

BE CAREFUL OPENING THE FRONT DOOR!!! I swear I thought I was supersailor for a second there when I walked in. Just kidding, I'm the weakest as they come. The front door is just oddly very light so be gentle and ensure the door closes behind you! My friend and I came for an early breakfast and were pleased to see they opened at 7am. The menu took us by surprise as they had very fun options for breakfast including hashes, French toast and even crepes! But don't waste your time there, you have to order from their "eggstra special" menu, haha get it? So punny. For entrees, we ordered the Huevos rancheros and huevos encobijados. From their drink menu we ordered the Mexican cocoa chai, and their beet goodness shot. I really wanted to try their morning glory sipper but they were out of papaya! The owner even offered to wait for her daughter to bring her a papaya (OMG I love that, so sweet). We told her it was totally okay but she still ended up giving us some samples of the other sippers she made. And good thing she did because I ended up ordering the sunrise. The food came out quick and we also ate very quick because it was SO GOOD and full of sabor! Looking forward to coming back with bae so he can experience all of the deliciousness I was graced with. -Sailor out

Great place for Mexican inspired brunch or lunch. I came in with five others on a Sunday morning and we were seated very quickly. We all got different meals, and all of use really liked what we got. The burrito should maybe be saved for two meals but I ate it all at once just because of how tasty it was. 100% recommend

Sol and Sabor is a gem. The food, the atmosphere, and the people made it such a great experience. I ordered the Cochiquiles, and wow -- tender slow-cooked cochinita pibil layered over crispy fried tortillas, with beans, crema, queso fresco, and a runny egg on top. The flavors came together perfectly, and every bite had that balance of richness and spice that makes you want to keep going back in. To drink, I had the Morning Glory juice (papaya, pineapple, kiwi, and ginger). It was spectacular -- refreshing, bright, and the ginger gave it just the right kick. The space is cozy and really cute inside, with warm details that make you feel at home. The staff were super friendly and helpful -- big shoutout to Noah for making the visit even better. Highly recommend stopping in here if you want amazing flavors and a welcoming vibe. I'll definitely be back.

My sister who is a resident of South Jordan had this place on her list of places to try. As soon as you walk in, everyone is to welcoming and attentive. Our server was very nice and helpful, even going as far as recommending her favorite drink. The inside of the restaurant gives you a feel of being in the kitchen of your abuela as she's making her most delicious food. The food was extremely flavorful and would definitely recommend the chilaquiles if you're craving them. I will most definitely be back.

This is the second time eating at sol and savor. This restaurant has only been open a few months and is owned by a wonderful Hispanic couple that work every day along with their kids to make it work and I love supporting new businesses. Last time I got lunch, this time with my sister, we got breakfast and it was fantastic!! We got farmers hash which has potatoes, eggs, onions and peppers and was sooo flavorful!! The 2nd dish we got was berry crepes which were to die for!! Please help support this local business and enjoy the awesome flavors!!!

Great food and environment! The restaurant was very busy, but the staff stayed very attentive! The Sunrise juice was fantastic as well as my Farmers Discada!

I ate breakfast here with my dad and he said this was a top 5 Mexican restaurant he has ever eaten at and I agreed. They were so welcoming and helpful to get us food quickly as we were in a hurry. And the chorizo here is top of the line, full of authentic flavor made fresh every day. I'll be back for more as I just moved into this area!

Yum! This little gem is tucked away in a darling strip mall. It has an older, rustic feel to the exterior, but in a way that makes great curb appeal. We enjoyed the Veggiequiles and the Garden Burrito. I was so impressed by the variety of veggies! Instead of just providing a few sparse vegetables, our dishes were packed with goodness and flavor. I particularly loved the green sauce. Even the fruit bowl was presented with elegance, with fresh, ripe fruits - not a one was overripe. Service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the decor inside, they have spent a great deal for this location. I ordered chips and salsa to start. These were not complimentary but when they arrived the salsa was fresh and unique. I was glad I ordered them. My wife chose the carne asada burrito. She raved about the flavor and could only finish half. I ordered a unique taco which had an authentic name this gringo cannot remember but it was built on a house made corn tortilla about twenty inches long and ten inches wide. Steak, Mexican cream, tomatillo sauce, freshly shredded lettuce and cheese. I've never had anything like it but it is awesome. The service was quick and efficient. Very delightful people. "Don't worry honey, it's okay to look, and also throw money at the half-naked women! I promise you won't get in trouble!" Uh-huh. ;) Alright, I digress. Awkwardness aside, Prohibition is a really great place to enjoy a classy dinner, where the meat is served on a place AND on stage, and the cheesecake comes with the price of admission! Speaking of admission, as my wife and I were guests, being shepherded along by our friend, I cannot recall exactly what the "cover charge" was (not much, if I remember correctly...less than $20 for two?), and if reservations are *required*, I cannot say for certain, but I would say they are *recommended* at the very least, because our showtime was packed. Anyway, once paid, you are escorted through a secret bookcase door (SLC residents sure do love their speakeasies, don't they?), and into the dining hall and saloon, where you're soon to have your socks knocked off...well, someone's clothes are coming off, anyway! We were given a table that I dismissively thought was tucked away pretty far in the back and out of the way, but it ended up being one of the best seats in the house, as the table where the performers gathered, prepped, and returned to was just adjacent to us, so we were about as up close and personal as you can get, without getting yourselves arrested. Each of the dancers brought their own style, flair, and wardrobe to their performances, which were spirited and energetic, and a touch racy, without devolving into outright debauchery. It may be an (18+? 21+?) venue, but alcohol restrictions aside, I wouldn't hesitate to take older, more mature teens to a show with similar content. We ordered a smattering of smaller dishes, as we weren't particularly hungry, but the Mishima Wagyu tacos were fantastic (as you would expect), as was the Fedora Fin (Za'atar-crusted ahi tuna), and all of our cocktails. As the show is timed event with multiple performances per night, both food and bev are fired out of the kitchen/bar faster than the bullets from a Tommy Gun, but with far better accuracy. The whole operation here was honestly very impressive, from start to finish. Coming from a progressive city like Portland, it's always struck me a little odd that places that, by reputation, strike you as more conservative end up having some of the best, most wild entertainment venues, that you only wish you had back home. Prohibition is one of these places that I would rather see in my downtown, instead of the litany of seedy strip joints pushing for maximum titilation, but with only a fraction of the class and sophistication. Prohibition is good, clean fun, masquerading as something illicit, which is the heart of what makes it work so well.

So I think in talking to most of my friends I got a good view on the food, and presentation. I had a starter of Totchos, and the Beef Dipper for my entrée. Both were excellent, I shared my Totchos. These are tater tot nachos, they were excellent, normally I don't like cheese sauce on Nachos, but given the consistency and flavor of this sauce (house made, I'm guessing. Not canned) They were excellent. The Beef Dipper and Au Jus, also top notch! Generally in a French dip, there is a lot of fatty pieces, this was not that. Also at my table was the Chile Verde bowl, this one has a kick... but my friend having it really enjoyed it. The fish and chips was great, smelled fresh. Lets talk about the sides. Choice of Fries (appeared to be battered fries, always a favorite of mine.) Tots, or house made potato chips. I had the Potato Chips with mine, these were excellent, crisp and tender on the inside. The Athena (Lamb Burger) got rave reviews from one at the table The Service: Because we were in a large group they advised us they were going to be taking our orders as we came in so not to overwhelm the kitchen staff. Excellent communication throughout service given that we were a large group. I talked to one of the Owners, Laurie, I could tell she had a huge sense of pride in the place. Very friendly! The Restaurant: Great atmosphere, Fun artwork, best of all, VERY Clean, nothing sticky or no grease buildup on any surface. The glass ware on the wall behind the bar as all polished. In the bar area they stack their silver, tableware, condiments etc. in a cute little cozy box on the table, with the main dining area setup as a diner with the traditional paper napkin and silverware. For a diner motif to have shined silver and glassware is a nice touch! Summary: Eat here! The prices are reasonable, the food is excellent, when I looked at the menu online I was a little put off by no actual entrée's on the dinner menu, however the in house experience made up for that, it's a pub food vibe and they are doing it well!

Couldn't resist dessert: the homemade Vietnamese coffee ice cream and the olive oil cake plus a latte. All wonderful. The only downsides were: the noise level; the space is small and we almost couldn't hear our table conversation as the dining area filled up, and the fact that they temporarily have no liquor license (in June 2026), so no wine or adult beverages were available. Another reason to go back, though! We're looking forward to trying their brunch, too.
