My son and I went to Hotel SLO and Sol Spa for Mother's Day weekend. The spa there is absolutely amazing! Super tranquil there, with great music playing in the background. Danielle is an amazing massage therapist and very attentive to what we wanted. She had just the right touch! Lindy was our aesthetician and knows her stuff! Incredible massage. Life changing. Danielle is a master at her craft. You must experience her Depp pressure. She was incredibly professional and listened to my concerns. I decided to treat myself to a massage and facial while on a long getaway with my husband. Holly was my masseuse and she was wonderful! I was very relaxed and felt great afterwards. My facial was done by Karina, and WOW!!! That facial changed my life. I must have dozed off at least 3 times when she was massaging my face into the heavens. It was one of the best facials I have had and if we are ever back in the area, I will definitely be returning. Beautiful spot of serenity in the old Chinatown section of SLO. We celebrated Valentines Day early with massages. Very nice sauna, which is normally separated male/female, however we were the only guests so we shared the space. They offered a foot soak in the waiting room. Nice touch. The robes were sooooo soft. If you're looking for a mini getaway this is the place. I've had a facial and massage and can't recommend this place to enough people. The offer a sauna to enjoy before and after your service. They offer tea and a foot soak before your service. I honestly can't say enough positive things about this place. I like that I didn't feel like they were herding cattle, I went in; enjoyed some time before my services then was able to leave at my leisure. read more

Just had an amazing 90 minute salt stone massage with Lindy. I had a baby a couple months ago so my hips and back are wrecked - sometimes when you get a massage, you're like, "That was nice!" I had a fabulous experience at Sol Spa. I come to the area often and my only regret is not discovering this place sooner! My friends and I were on a girls weekend and wanted to schedule facials and massages. Sol Spa was amazing from the moment we stepped in through our various amazing treatments, relaxing cup of tea after treatment, to enjoying the pool/spa, sauna, showers, meditation room, super clean lockers/bathroom, vanity and plush and relaxing waiting room. I had a massage with Nick who was super skilled and focused on the areas I needed help with. The experience was so relaxing that I wished I signed up for a longer massage! Marissa at the front was so patient and helpful with our group as we decided upon which of the fun Eminence products we wanted to purchase. I look forward to visiting Sol Spa again when I am in the area and we will definitely book appts the next time our girls weekend brings us back down to the Central Coast. read more

It's great to have a full service spa in SLO. The massage was fantastic, one of the best I've ever had! They lacked some amenities. I'm accustomed to having restroom products, snacks and reading material available. They didn't have any wash cloths, hand towels, q tips, razors, lotion, brushes, face washing pads, etc. We had to ask for lotion, which they gave us sample packs of but it didn't seem as though it was a regular request. The hot tub was nice, but small. read more
