I needed a trailer hitch installed ASAP, so I began calling around. Most said they won't install it, or couldn't do for a week later. Vic said he would do it first thing the next morning. He offered me a loaner car! Two hours later it was done perfectly and when I asked him how much he gave me a price almost half what Pep Boys wanted! Considering that 95% of his business is maintaining Police cruisers it's fair to say his reputation is excellent. I was involved in a car accident and this is the garage that showed up to tow the car I was driving. Upon my request for the car to be towed to the garage where I picked up this car as a loaner, the driver, also the owner, insisted it had to be towed to his garage. This wasn't the worst of the experience! The following day when I learned he should have towed it to where I requested, I called him to discuss. He was belligerent, nasty and dishonest. My husband used this service to have a car towed to our house . The driver claimed he could not get into the driveway and then left the car in the driveway when I called him to ask him about this he was rude dismissive and assumed my stern voice was yelling .. Which I was not at all . He said that he would not help us figure out how to move it to a spot that's not in the driveway and had a attitude I'm not sure if this is common or if I caught him on a bad day but to pay so much money and met with rudeness is disheartening... The owner did however come out ASAP and fixed this issue and I am thankful but do to the lack of care or respect during communication I will not ever ever spend I dime here . I don't know where these recent reviews came from. I have known Vic @ Soli's Garage since 1998. Vic is the only mechanic I allow to service all my cars. I have had 5 cars since I knew him. One of the worst tow truck places I've ever had the pleasure of going to, the tow truck driver was very rude. The driver charged over $125 for a scooter that was not even 0.5 miles from the garage and I picked it up that day. Would not even negotiate and even yelled at my boyfriend and his uncle. I felt very nervous at this shop. Then he yell at us to take it up to the police when I was just taking to him was not okay. read more

Worst place to bring a vehicle to. My vehicle was scratched badly in two places and the owner got an attitude when I told him the marks were not there and were from him. Also, they stored my vehicle behind the shop, which is next to a cliff and the ground is covered with debris of damaged vehicle parts. Beware. If there is a problem, I guarantee the owner will not only deny it but will give you attitude. read more

Never will I go here again! I had my car brought there after my ignition broke (this was before yelp) and the work we fine but my radio came up missing nd when I asked about it of course no one knew a thing about it. So I filled out a police report (forgetting they work on majority of police cars) and a week later that report was loss. So nope never woll I return there or recommend anyone to them. read more

Vic Soli was incredibly helpful when I went in to get my car fixed. He went out of his way to show me the parts of my car that were broken and explain what was wrong and how they will fix them.
