Had 30 minutes before our massage appointment so we decided to get a drink at Solomon's landing while we waited. Unfortunately service was really slow 15 minutes for the server to take our orders. We told them that we were in a hurry and asked for them to bring the check with the drinks. It was another 10 minutes for our drinks so we only had a few minutes to chug them and walk to the massage parlor. The drinks were good and since we paid in pesos the price was nice. The exchange rate wasn't very economical for pesos to us dollars. Nice patio seating just across the boardwalk from the harbor. Probably won't be returning due to the slow service and exchange rates designed to take advantage of the cruise ship passengers.

Amazing service from the get go. Staff was very attentive to our needs and even provide a stand to keep your bags & hat! We ordered a Mocktail, mango juice for my daughter, and Vege Fajitas which we all shared, along with Chips, guac & Pico to start with. Fajitas were too good, they even had cauliflower in them which is so hard to find in other places! They came in a sauce, were delicious. The flour tortillas were so good as well, thin & fresh. Loved everything here. Bathrooms are a single stall for each gender and common hand washing place. Totally recommend!

Cabo was one of the port stops on our resent family Thanksgiving cruise. After taking a boat trip to see the Arch and learn more about Cabo, we were hungry. Asked several local people about eating places that were off the tourist route and everyone kept coming back to Solomon's so we walked over. We were seated immediately and several people came to take drink orders, bring menus, offer recommendations. Customer service was above! The restaurant is an open-air concept and you are sitting on a large patio. It's a bustle of activity but again, people took time to answer questions, etc. We ordered so much food, yes we were hungry, but also we wanted to try many of the dishes they offered. Started out with their queso dip and chips, fried calamari (served with two sauces, a marinara and a roasted cocktail sauce that was extremely yummy!), and of course we had to have their version of guacomole, which comes with a side of pico (I mixed that into the guac to enhance the flavor) and some great, freshly made tortilla chips. My wife will never pass up the opportunity for a good ceviche and theirs is served with scallops and mango. She loved it, it was bit too spicy for this girl but others in our group loved it just as much. The scallops were tender and overall a great dish! Based on all of the recommendations...I had the fish tacos and boy-oh-boy! Some of the freshest, lightly battered, served in homemade flour tortillas with a sprinkling of cabbage slaw and some of the best chipotle dressing. You get three in an order and they were so good! Wife had the scallop tacos, served with pico and guac. The small pieces of scallops were cooked to perfection and mixed with tomatoes, chilies, and a light sauce. They were perfect she said! Other family members ordered the Green Enchiladas and said they were spicy but delicious, They also offer a kids menu with mac & cheese, burgers and chicken fingers which our least adventurers travelers ordered and reported they were "good". Highly recommend if in the Cabo area.

Beautiful view of the marina (and seals!) from our table

Had the best margarita of my life here! The space itself is beautiful and located right on the marina with great views of the boats and even seals! Our server was amazing and let me know he made my margarita himself. Overall, amazing service, great space and we are trying our best to squeeze in a meal here before leaving!

When you are in Cabo, you need to visit the marina and when you do so, Solomon's Landing, is a good place to stop by to eat. It has commanding views of the boats docked very close to where you are. There are good vibes, a lot of hustlers walking by and you can hear music all over the place. Had already looked at their menu before arriving, so I chose the fried whole red snapper. The standard sides for this dish, were only rice and vegetables. I requested that the rice be substituted by refried beans and my server said it would be an extra charge. I told him no way, you have to talk to the manager. The manager finally agreed. When the dish arrived at my table, it was at the perfect temperature, nice and hot. With the first bite of the meaty fish, it was easy to decipher that it was fresh. Nice and crisp on the outside, succulent and moist on the inside. In situations like this, I like to use my fingers to pluck the meat and in doing so, I obviously need more napkins. This place was really stingy. Every time I asked for more napkins, that would give me only one. Apparently, that's what the manager wants the staff to do. Kibd of weird if you ask me. This fish was excellent, memorable and unforgettable. Vegetables were also superbly prepared. Refried beans were dry and not OK. Service was the same. Nothing to write home about. And I didn't fall for the US dollar conversion trap. I paid my check in Mexican pesos.

Solomon's really redeemed themselves this year. Started off on a great foot by letting us choose our table. Big change from last year. Thank you for being accommodating!! Next, a couple of the coldest beers in all of Cabo!! Delish!! Then on to the Ceviche!! OMG, t'was delish!! Crazy good!! I had the Carne Asada Tacos with the best tortillas ever and my bride had her usual, the Coconut Shrimp!! Best Coconut Shrimp this side of the equator!! Absolutely amazing. We also met Arturo the cat... cool cat.... Great experience and much better than last year!! Thank you!!

We were too tired to well to our usual place so we saw Solomon's and decided to try it. It's open air and the service was very good with friendly waiters. We tried loaded chips and an order of fajitas and fish tacos. Fish tacos are always my first choice. Very tasty but could put less batter on them other than that the food is good and it's very clean.

We're staying at an all inclusive resort but wanted to venture onto the marina for dinner. One of the waiters at our hotel recommended Solomon's and it was a fantastic choice! We got a table right in the front with great people watching and a nice romantic ambiance. Enrique, our server, was fabulous and made sure everything was perfect! They had very fairly priced signature cocktails - the Rosy Charm was very refreshing. We started with the garlic cheese bread - it was soft, decadent, and delicious! I made us save a couple of the last pieces as my boyfriend got the lobster ravioli for his main dish and I knew they'd be great to dip in the sauce. The Ravioli were humongous and well stuffed! I got the Shrimply Delicious which was 3 different ways to cook shrimp, wild rice, and veggies. Every way of shrimp was decadent and had its own unique flavor. I'd definitely recommend Solomon's to all! We had a nice romantic night here but there were also families. The pricing was very fair for a place located in Cabo tourist central. Will definitely be back next time we're in Cabo!

The dinner plates cakes with a side of rice and steamed mixed vegetables. Everything was so fresh, delicious, tender, and so flavorful. As a group, we couldn't come to a consensus on what each of our favorite dish was. We each had our own favorite. Crab meat was sweet, garlic shrimp was buttery, grilled octopus was so tender, aguichiles was so citrusy... I can go on and on. Ask for fresh tortillas. Also don't skip their margarita. Strong, citrusy, and generous serving. They accept USD or pesos. Also strolling musicians will come by your table asking to play a song. From the street it looks like a little hole-in-the-wall, the kind of spot you might almost miss if you're busy chasing fancy marina restaurants. But step inside and suddenly you're in on the secret. Open air, flags hanging everywhere, signatures on the walls from travelers who clearly had a very good night, and the kind of energy that says dinner might get a little rowdy. Now let's talk shrimp. Big, juicy, swimming in garlic, lime, butter, and Baja attitude. The kind of seafood that makes you stop mid-bite and look at your table like, "Yep... we picked the right place." If you love seafood with a Mexican twist, this place doesn't mess around. And then there's the legendary Bulldog drink. It's tequila, beer, citrus, and just enough mischief to make the table louder after the first round. Order one and you'll understand why people start signing their names on the walls like they just joined a Cabo fraternity. Bottom line: this isn't just dinner. It's a little Cabo adventure wrapped in garlic shrimp and cold drinks. If you want quiet elegance, go somewhere else. But if you want flavor, personality, and a story to tell later... pull up a chair. Killer line: Some restaurants serve food Maro's serves memories with a side of shrimp.

I have been coming to Maro's Shrimp House since I found it, probably on Tripadvisor at the time,…read more way back in June 2016 and we make it a must on every trip to Cabo. Even when I was in Cabo on a cruise ship last Friday (11/28), had to hole up in my cabin on my laptop and work a half day (until 11am), missing out on my family's morning excursion all with a 1pm last tender call to get back to the ship... After my wife, mother-in-law, daughter & son's excursion with well reviewed Real Baja Tours (which I arranged separately instead of through the ship), all but my son were dropped off back at the ship as they wanted to skip out on the amazingness of Maro's. Yeah, I KNOW!! CRAZY!! The driver was nice enough to drop my son off at Maro's afterwards and the timing couldn't have been more perfect, just a few minutes before their 12pm opening time. Even though, we were a few minutes early, they gladly seated us right away. And very surprisingly, we were the only ones there for a good 20 minutes. From our very first visit in 2016, it is quite clear that the only things you need order is the shrimp and lobster which are fantastic...and THE BULLDOG (basically a giant schooner of margarita with an upended Coronita standing on its drowning head)...well, no Bulldogs for the boy. Service is very efficient and the friendly staff (despite not knowing too much English, except Maro himself, of course) is very attentive to any calls we had for refills of GARLIC WITH BUTTER (soooo much garlic, it was fantastic) & my dear, dear Bulldogs. Speaking of Bulldogs, they keep track of the most Bulldogs drunken in a sitting. I believe the current leader had 22...which is a superhuman feet because I was feeling quite FINE (read: tipsy) after my two. Also speaking of Bulldogs, on a visit in 2024, my kids, one friend of theirs and I witnessed a server giving 3 ladies a lapdance when they ordered one to share. Now that's service! Lol. Having told the staff we had to get outta there at 12:30pm, they delivered our wonderful meals very promptly and after first giving us totopos (tortilla chips) with two kinds of delicious salsa (well, a salsa and a pico de gallo). We each ordered the 1/4 kilo of lobster and 1/4 medium shrimp for $24.95 USD. (Note prices on the menu are conveniently in USD.) This was more than ample for one person but we prodded on and thoroughly enjoyed it, as always. With each plate, they serve the seafood with a very tasty rice pilaf and some pieces of squash or something I still can't figure out and after 2 Bulldogs, I completely forgot to ask about. They also give you a piping hot cup of that GARLIC WITH BUTTER served over a candle to keep hot which is brilliant. There is nothing worse than eating your giant platter of lobster and shrimp and the butter starts getting cold and becomes gluey and gloppy. That stuff is so good, we asked for another cup (and unlike American restaurants, it was free). On our visit in 2024, we actually got to meet Maro himself, took a picture with him, printed and framed it at home, brought it with us on the cruise and mounted it on the wall to the right of the L.A. Dodger flag, naturally. Since there wasn't any room left to write something with a provided marker, I added my DK to the bottom of the UCLA Bruin flag hidden near the back to the left. Oh, while you might think this place is a dingey dive by the look of the joint with its millions of marked up mostly collegiate flags lining the walls and rafters, the food makes it absolutely worth a visit...or two while you're in town. So save Edith's or Hacienda Y Cucina for the evenings (unless you want what I suspect would be a super fun & roudier crowd in the evenings). HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Wow, that's a David K 4x HIGHLY RECOMMEND so ya better go!
