I went to this place 3 times during my 3 day stay in Cabo haha. The service is amazing and made me feel very comfortable. The food was so good and flavorful. I had the fajitas, stuffed belpeppers and the breakfast rancheros. The portions were HUGE and each time I left absolutely full to the brim. The prices are a bit more than other places in Cabo, but the location is right on the Marina, the service is amazing and the portions are huge, which still deem a 5/5 in my opinion. Located in the Marina area of Cabo San Lucas. I first saw this place featured on Guy Fiere's Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. My wife and I arrived at 10:30, so I had breakfast and she had lunch. I had chorizo and eggs with homemade flour tortillas. The tortillas were amazing. Don't know how I can eat store bought ones ever again. My wife had shrimp tacos and they were delicious. Solomon's Landing came highly recommended to me over 10 years ago, when I first tried them out. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner are all great options. They are nestled in the Marina near Cabo Dolphins with a nicely covered and shaded restaurant. Host/Hostess properly greet you at the entrance and seat you at a table - which is nice not needing to flag someone down or have a restaurant liner in the marina act as the middleman for you and the restaurant. Menu consists of popular Mexican food items such as fajitas, tacos, etc and American food items such as burgers. I did not try the burgers, although, someone described them as being the "best" burger they've ever had! Ordered tacos, fajitas, and taco salad - which all were good. The fajitas were brought in a mocajete ( I'm used to a sizzling skillet) and was really hot (in temperature). All were good and VERY affordable. To compliment our meals, we ordered margaritas! Cadillac and strawberry. Also, we ordered the infamous Limonata con agua minerale y azúcar. The sparkling drink is really good for the non alcoholic beverages. Guacamole is good with fresh made tortilla chips. The atmosphere is great. Location dictates they be tailored more to tourists than locals as the regular cruise ships whose guests seek shore activities may stop in for a taste. I would have rated 5 stars but they were backed upon drink orders - we had to wait until about our food order was brought out to receive our drinks. I had the tacos with carne asada (steak) and it was mysterious meat! It was rubbery and tasteless. The waitress was one of the rudest waitresses/server I have ever had. Never have I not left a tip, this waitress actually waited for me to give her a tip. She never even asked what we would like to order, she just stood there with her tablet. Excellent spot on the Marina in Cabo. Our only regret is we only came for breakfast. Everything was incredible, especially the service - Silvia is the best! We came three times during our stay and she remembered us and was incredibly friendly with terrific recommendations. Lizeth was also amazing. Great spot for breakfast by the marina. Loved the open floor plan with no walls enclosing the space and the decor. Definitely seemed like it is a popular spot and a little more touristy but the food was all really good. We started with a green juice which was amazing and one of the best I've had. For food we ordered chocolate chip pancakes for the table which were super fluffy and delicious. I got the eggs your way - over easy and a side of pork sausage. The sausage was a highlight and the hot sauce they provide was a orange habanero one that definitely tasted homemade and I loved. Others got the French toast, huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict, the fruit platter, and an egg scramble. Everything was really good but I think the pancakes and sausage were my favorite items. My family loves visiting Solomons every time we are in town. I love having the chilaquiles for breakfast and enjoy the nice view of the port. An open air restaurant that clearly caters to tourists. Don't let that stop you from going. Had great service (everyone speaks English) and great food. Came here for lunch due to this restaurant coming recommended by Triple DDD and it did not disappoint in the least! This place is right off the wharf and a perfect stop for a quick lunch. The staff was super accommodating and let us order lunch off the dinner menu to try Guy's recommendations. The stuffed fish was marvelous. The margaritas were strong and you can even do a Yelp checkin to get a house margarita! The best part of the presentation was that all the waiters came and served us the dishes at once! My husband, had the shrimp chile relleno, which was prepared well, but we did not see one shrimp, not even the flavor of shrimp. My daughter has the spicy tuna roll, which she loved. Hubby had the Sea Bass and I had the enchiladas...wasn't bad, but definitely wasn't anything to brag about. We also ordered Cadillac Margaritas thinking they would be similar or even better than the ones that we get back at home and they were very weak and didn't meet the mark. We said maybe it was a new bartender and ordered a mango marg & strawberry marg and it was literally just puree! Overall the service was good and the ambiance is very romantic. My mistake was leaving my card inside the check holder when they brought it back to the table. We left and when we went back, nobody knew what I was talking about. Yeah Right! I had to file a dispute and cancel the card. This happend January 14th. I filed a dispute with my credit card and they canceled the card and are sending a new one. Don't waste your time getting RIPPED OFF at this restaurant! Literally go anywhere but here. I come to Cabo San Lucas every 6 months for well over a decade and this is the first time anything like this has happened. My cousin ordered a coffee off of the dessert menu, which turned into an entire show right next to my table! The "show" was wild and has to be seen in order to be believed. Food: My actual experience with food was amazing. I ordered the shrimp & rigatoni pasta and was not at all disappointed. I've found that with a lot of pasta dishes, the portions appear to be very small and then actually end up being enough. However, the portion here appeared to be just right from the get go and ended up being enough too. Also important to point out that prices were great! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a terrific atmosphere. Whether you're a massive sports fan, standard diner, or looking for a great meal, Solomon's Landing is a great fit for virtually anyone. Multiple TVs showing a variety of games are throughout the entire restaurant. An amazing 80s-themed playlist is played that can be heard throughout the nearby streets. We were down near the marina one day for a snorkeling trip (hosted by Cabo Adventures - review forthcoming). Casually walking down the marina looking for food, this place caught our eye as it's pretty big restaurant and I saw the DDD sign! Quickly, i pulled out my phone to check the yelp reviews and it fared well based on comments. I ordered the three taco plate with fluor tortillas instead of corn (includes beans and rice) and asked for shrimp, fish and chicken for each taco. Our server stated that I had to make one protein choice for all three tacos but said he'd make an exception. Nothing special, just your average mexican food made for tourists. While waiting for our food to come out - a guitar singer came out to serenade the tables and I requested for Suavacito and tipped. Then another band off the dock also came back to perform...then another...and another. AAAAND we saw a man get chased by 4 or 5 armed and suited police officers into the alley next to our resteraunt, handcuffed and escorted out (with cute k9 Sherman Sheppard that i reeeeally wanted to pet). read more

Yes, this place caters to tourists. Yes, as a result it is full of gringos. But this is now a historic restaurant in the Cabo San Lucas harbor. They have been around forever, and used to cook whatever you caught out during a fishing trip and serve it with rice, beans, and tortillas. Maybe they still do. I didn't notice it on the menu. You'll find enchiladas, tacos and burritos, and great salads. The seafood here is wonderful. The margaritas here are even better. Everyone from the bartenders to the busboys seem like they are in a great mood. And how could you not be? I absolutely loved everything about Solomon's. We heard about it through family that visited Cabo and we had to try it. It's right off of the marina you get a beautiful view of the amazing boats that are docked. We were served by Ernesto and he was so nice! We ordered some fresh fish ceviche and it was great. We also ordered the deal for 2 that came with lobster tail, coconut shrimp, the catch of the day cooked bbq style (sea bass), the catch of the day with capers, scallops, and calamari. Great place to stop for Mexican food & Margaritas!! We sat up front where we could watch people strolling by & vendors selling items, taking pictures with iguanas & mariachi bands playing! Really fun atmosphere & great tasting food & drinks. My husband remembered Guy Fieri did a review here so that was our deciding factor to dine in! We were quickly seating & waited on. Our specialty margarita was smooth. I noticed my Yelp Chick gave me a Free House Margarita that is tasty as well but I'd take the up charge on a specialty margarita! We ordered the avocado topped with shrimp ceviche app. I wish our local spot at home served this tasty snack! This app has big chunks of shrimp that I love! Next we had Shrimp Fajitas-that came out smoking hot with a mix of shrimp, peppers, onions & thick slices of white cheese.
