After a while we both agreed that the Porsche P8274 frames would best suit my face. Within an hour I placed my order and couldn't wait to return to pick them up. He called me a couple of days ago to inform me that my glasses were ready for pick up and that he was excited for me to try them on. I popped by today, tried them on and I have to say that they look even better than I remembered. I decided to get the Progressives and the visual focusing range is quite expansive. They are crystal clear to my eye and they just felt great right away. So in conclusion I'm just going to say that I can't recommend Optical Designs enough! Rick couldn't be more of a professional and he REALLY knows what he's doing. He has superb taste and excellent style. Also what he has in stock is extremely varied and super hip! I am just leaving the store, I have a pair of Meta glasses that are one year and a half old, Ray…read moreBan Meadows are not cheap, but worth it, in my case since my glasses are no longer functional I wanted to see what could be done, it's high-tech hardware typically most companies have a plan if they stop working, they either can fix it or recommend somebody who could repair it, in the case of Ray, Ban and Matter the conclusion is that once they stopped working after a year there's nothing you can do about it. They don't recommend any repair shops nor do with their appear to be any repair shops, they don't do the repair themselves. They don't give you any credit against another pair. You're basically have a very expensive pair of what otherwise we should be fairly inexpensive glasses. I certainly can't blame anyone on the store level although I can certainly look at the Ray-Ban Meta policy and reconsider now that I have to buy another pair from somebody else who else makes something like the Ray-Ban Mata. Love to hear other people's experiences, happy to see if maybe they'll do something about it in the future and that'll gladly take this post down. I do not like to post negatives on Yelp, but I only post this today as a consumer awareness. I am currently heading over to Best Buy to see what their policies are cause there might be a way to get an extended warranty if you do not buy them at a Ray-Ban store, because Best Buy does their own thing even though they're selling the same product, I think that might be the better solution. I will check back in once I have more information.

I stopped by to find a matching shade of the Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate foundation. Although she works for Chanel, Cynthia helped me find the perfect shade by trying it on my face at her makeup kiosk. She took her time with me, and tried a couple of shades to find just the right one. She gave me two samples of it for me to try at home in different lighting to be sure it's the right shade before purchasing it. Cynthia, who appears to be a makeup artist, with flawless makeup herself, asked if I was an artist and complemented my makeup and the application of my makeup, and she told me that I have good skin. I take good care of my skin, and I was very appreciative of her noticing that. She and the other lady at the counter also complimented my eyes, and I left feeling just so good and happy. I love Chanel nail polish, and I usually order it online, but I think I'll stop by the Chanel counter and purchase it at Nordstrom instead. Thanks so much for your kindness and professionalism. You made my day.

As a very busy businessman who is constantly on the grind to make money I don't normally take time out to write business reviews. However, the exemplary service I received this past week from the sales people at Solstice warranted my acknowledgment of this rarity in this day and age. From the moment I entered the store to have my favorite pair of sunglasses, which were broken at the time, I was greeted by friendly face. Furthermore I was happily surprised to see that the patient sales person not only actively listened to my concerns and desires but was ultimately able to exchange my glasses for me. While being offered great service by the sales person the manager name Ray came up to me, introduced himself, and ensured my needs were being met. Ironically, before I know it my original needs of getting my glasses fixed ended up into a low pressure sale of a pair of Dior glasses for my wife. I just felt so comfortable with the manager's sales style, product knowledge, and witty sense of humor I ended up spending a great deal time at the store. Then my titanium "unbreakable" frames slid off a short coffee table and very much snapped in half at the nose bridge. Were they really titanium? Who knows. After reaching out to warranty service, they "don't have parts" and can't repair them. Customer service refused to help me at all and wouldn't even point me in the direction of a repair service.

My husband responded that we were looking for both, but the associate said nothing further and did nothing to guide or assist us. We felt uncomfortable with this lack of service and decided to leave. As returning customers who have purchased multiple pairs from you in the past--including a $500 pair of sunglasses last Christmas--this was a very discouraging experience. Given the price point of your products, we expect a much higher level of customer service and are hesitant to shop with you again in the future.

I recently purchased a pair of Jacques Marie Mage frames from Good See Co. and while the product…read moreitself was excellent, the customer service and fulfillment experience were disappointing--especially considering the nearly $1,000 price point. My first attempt to contact the company was through Facebook on March 21 regarding availability of the Jacques Marie Mage Lucknow in Beluga. I never received a response. I then sent an email on March 26 and also received no reply. Because I was trying to confirm whether the frames were physically in stock before purchasing, I eventually had to call the store directly from overseas at approximately 4:00 AM local time due to the time difference. During that call, I asked why I had not received responses to either my Facebook message or email and was told my inquiry may have been "lost in all the emails." I was also informed that the optical frames I originally wanted were no longer available, but that the sunglasses version was still available instead. I ultimately placed the order on April 10 (April 9 U.S. time) and received a shipping confirmation and tracking number two days later. However, despite advertised 2-day shipping, the tracking remained at "label created" with no movement for over a week. I reached out again on April 19 to ask why the package had still not shipped. I was then told there had been issues with USPS pickups related to military/DPO shipping requirements and was assured the package would ship within 48 hours. To be fair, the frames did eventually arrive and were authentic, properly packaged, and in excellent condition. The product itself was great. However, for luxury eyewear at this price level, I expected significantly better communication, responsiveness, and shipping transparency. Customers should not have to repeatedly follow up across multiple platforms or make international calls in the middle of the night simply to confirm inventory and shipment status. Overall: - Excellent product quality - Poor communication - Frustrating fulfillment experience - Customer service that did not match the luxury pricing I'm happy with the frames themselves, but the overall buying experience left a lot to be desired.
