I purchased a simple 2.5 gallon bottle of herbicide from Solutions Pest & Lawn. I was informed after shipment that the product was damaged during shipping. Simple enough I thought, this should be refunded and a new bottle sent. Unfortunately, this did not occur and I was told by the agent, Grace, there is nothing that could be done. There was zero flexibility on the side of Solutions Pest & Lawn, and surprising in today's competitive environment that the company would choose to be so short-sighted as to dig their heels in over 90 dollars. DO NOT order from this store, I've been reluctant to order items due to the reviews, I've ordered small quantities ($12) a few times to see for myself, and had issues. Decided one more time to order a larger product, ($90). Ordered on a Friday 9th at 1:42pm, tracking label created Monday 12th, no movement in the pkg, so late Tuesday I contacted Solutions and Wednesday 14th, was told USPS was slow to update tracking, Thursday 15th, still no movement with the pkg, contacted Solutions again, was told USPS didn't pick up packages as they were supposed to, and that they picked up 50% and USPS was going to pick up the rest on the 15th. I contacted the local USPS that picks up Solutions pkgs, was told that wasn't true what Solutions told me. Friday I got a text/email stating my order was on back order and would be sent out. So how was my pick going to be updated by USPS when it was never sent out??? So the stories I was being told were nothing but lies. I cancelled my order and will NEVER purchase from this company. What a maddening experience simply trying to place an order with this business over 2 days. Attempt 1) website crashes showing "invalid state change" during checkout. Attempt 2) website won't allow a re-try saying "account exists login using password" (never had an account was on the site a total of 1 time). Attempt 3) emailed them about the inability to order from website but told to "call me" with no person's name Attempt 4) emailed about price match with competitors link per their own instructions and then told "we need a screen shot". Attempt 5) emailed screen shot and told "we can give you a online code for $5 off". OBVIOUSLY that will not work on their site they just stated "has some bugs we are still trying to work out, call me"! Attempt 6) called and told "we don't price match"! Solutions Pest & Lawn are EZ to get hold of. You are actually talking to a person who knows how to apply the weed treatment. The two products I bought thus far have been working. Very happy to see that now the parsley -like weed is turning yellow after about 8-10 days. I've spent a lot of money in the past few years on big online platform buying weed treatment products but more than half of the stuff never worked. As the representative advised, I may need to spot treat the existing weed again in about three weeks time. One representative also recommended me to treat the lawn with Prodiamine: early March, then Mid May (just before the heat of the summer), then Mid October (just before autumn) as a pre-emergent. This year I started putting the granules pre-emergent than liquid pre-emergent as a follow up to tackle the weed situation. I just realized that I can buy the Barricade granule pre-emergent from Solutions Pest & Lawn too which I will do from now on. Another tip is to double check the application amount online (you can find it on their website, or google it) just to be sure the amount per gallon of water is right. I would recommend Solutions Lawn Houston. Great customer service. They are honest about what you need rather than over selling you stuff. read more

I recently placed an online order on a Saturday night and forgot to apply my coupon code for a discount. I immediately sent an email with my information including my order number. First thing Monday Morning I called and spoke to Greg. This guy was very rude and less than willing to even hear my issue. I asked him to stop speaking over me, but that just made things worse. After letting him know I would be leaving an online review he really went over the deep end. Instead of a simple "Sir I am sorry you feel that way but there is nothing I can do", he basically started to belittle me for wanting me to leave a negative review. I received in response to my original email basically letting me know I can cancel the order and then re-place it with the coupon code. I immediately responded, "please cancel my order" and received a response. Today the order arrived as it was never canceled. I have ordered from them several times without issue, but after this ordeal, I insisted I am done with them. Sooooo, by now you are wondering why 5 stars with such a bad experience, especially with Greg. Did I mention Greg was rude? I cannot say that enough. After receiving the order I called and spoke to Suzanna. Suzanna not only tolerated what probably came off as a bad attitude, she also offered me a few options. She was very polite and apologetic for what I have ben through. She handled the situation in a very professional manner. It is because of her, that I agreed to keep the order and will continue to use this company. It is my suggestion that she be taken out of customer support, and instead be the designated customer support trainer. Greg could really use some training if you are even willing to allow him to keep his job. I may have mentioned it, but either way Greg is rude. Thank you for your patients and support Suzanna.
