Soups on! Whether you loooove soup and consider yourself an aficionado, or simply tolerate it because your spouse is obsessed, you will surely love this place and all the delicious food they offer...and yep, you've got options. I have been to both locations and they are both very clean, use only the finest ingredients, and employees are always very nice and accommodating. SOUPS/BROTHS A daily variety of fresh broth and hot soups, including vegan and vegetarian options to taste in-store, and then take with you to eat while hot & fresh. The hard part is choosing which soup(s)...yes, they are all THAT good! It's almost an impossible task. They also offer frozen soups and broth too; I like to keep a few in my freezer for an easy dinner or when I'm a little under the weather. **my favs are Split Pea w/Curry and Carrot-Ginger, Hubs favs are Turkey Chili and Hearty Beef Stew and Clam Chowder.** I can honestly say that Solé Soups made a ginger and curry fan outta me! They never put too much of any one seasoning, it's just the right mix in every soup. Go ahead and try a sample or 2 or 3! Be sure to try a flavor that you wouldn't typically try, and be prepared to be amazed You can't go wrong no matter which soups you choose, we've eaten and loved them all!!! *********be sure to get their famous biscotti to dip in your soup!!!!!******** SALADS: They offer several but I love both the organic chicken Caesar and Asian chicken salads. They chop everything small so it mixes just right and tastes so fresh. Each container gives us 2 servings. I just discovered the Crab Salad today and when I tell you it's fresh, I mean FRESH! Big chunks of organic crab and pollock made into this mouth watering masterpiece. If you love crab GET THIS SALAD!! MISC: The Peanut Butter Protein Balls have huge chunks of dark chocolate chips and are addictive. Their homemade Rice Crispy Treats" are so good that I can only bring home one or I'll eat them all. I can't say enough about this establishment, except maybe we need more locations. What a gold mine of fresh nutritional foods that are lovingly prepared by some fine people. I forgot the owners name but he's usually at this location and makes me feel like I am their favorite patron every time I walk in. Some have mentioned the price being a little high, and I'll admit it may seem true HOWEVER, you do get what you pay for and this is a treat that my body and soul heartily appreciate, so I'm a patron for life.

See, all gone! Great till the last drop!!!

First timer alert!!! Chinese Chicken Salad was 100% yum!!! Organic veggies, with a sweet cilantro finish - ample amounts of white meat chicken cubes (great quality) - it hit the spot perfectly for lunch on a hot day - can't wait to try their chili and soups. Should be 5 PLUS stars !!!

Chicken bone broth was beyond expectations. Kid downed it faster than lightening.

My son enjoyed his chicken bone broth so much he asked for a roadie. We're not from here but we're definitely fans of all the delicious broths and soups SoLé Soup has to offer!

The Japanese Sukiyaki base was perfectly mild and flavorful -- exactly what I needed. Paired with tender chicken and fresh veggies, it hit the spot without being heavy. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care. The restaurant itself is adorable -- bright, floral decor that feels welcoming and clean. Service was super friendly and attentive (shoutout to Alina for the great service! ). Portions are generous for the price, and the quality is top-tier. I also grabbed a simple hot tea that was perfect. This place is a true fusion win: authentic Thai flavors + customizable hot pots + excellent boba. Family-owned vibes shine through in every bite. If you're in the Westlake Village / Thousand Oaks area, do yourself a favor and go. I'll definitely be back soon -- highly recommend! Pro tip: Try the mini hot pot with Sukiyaki or Miso and chicken. The pho broth is good and tasty but they put less meat in their bowls than other pho places. Spring rolls were lacking a lot of the typical herbs and flavorless. Service was poor. Spring rolls usually include mint and garlic chives. The ones here only came with lettuce and were thus super bland. We also ordered this right when we sat down yet they never came. I had to ask twice about the spring rolls. The rolls came at the very END of the meal after we were super full from eating pho, I was tempted to send them back but my partner still wanted them. It was disappointing though. When we were ready to pay, they said go up front to pay. Whereas earlier they were bringing the bill to the tables. We went up front. There was a long line of people all waiting to pay. I felt disappointed again. I don't know if I'll be back. I'm going to give the other pho places a try before I decide. If I do come back, it's pho only and not expect much from service.

I think this place may be my new favorite restaurant…read more My friend and I walked in on a Friday night at 6:30 PM, with no reservations. The place was packed, but I have to assume we got really lucky because we got seated right away at an open table near the front. Our server greeted us immediately and brought us waters for the table. We were overwhelmed initially by the menu options because everything sounded incredible. We asked our waitress what she recommended, and she said literally everything on the menu is amazing - nothing is bad and every dish is popular. So I was quite impressed to hear that. My friend and I decided to get the steak tartare, woodfire grilled octopus, fried gnocchi, and chicken liver pate. Every single dish was actually incredible. The chicken liver pate came with four slices of toast, some pickled vegetables and ground mustard. The pate was creamy, rich, slightly on the sweeter side, so it paired perfectly with the tang from the ground mustard & pickled vegetables. The woodfire grilled octopus was cooked perfectly. Seriously the best, freshest octopus I've ever had! It wasn't chewy or fishy at all. The texture was absolutely perfect. It was very easy to cut into and juicy. It was paired perfectly with the aïoli as well. The steak tartare was extremely fresh. One of the things that I hate about steak tartare at restaurants sometimes is it will start to look brown from the meat oxidizing so it doesn't always look as appetizing, but this tartare was still had that vibrant red color as if they had just cut the meat. Lastly, the fried gnocchi was amazing. It's the first time I've ever had a dish with fried gnocchi. They paired it with a cream sauce that was absolutely delicious. I wish I remembered what was in it, but it was so good. I wanted to drink that sauce lol. Love how the gnocchi was also perfectly seared, had no lumps, and basically melts in your mouth. Overall, loved the ambience of this place as well. It's very hip. trendy. Definitely a louder environment but perfect for a weekend night out to enjoy great food. I would recommend making reservations. I think my friend and I probably just got lucky because we went a little bit earlier on a Friday night. Also wanna mention all of the wait staff was amazing. Food was served very quickly and we had no issues with any of our orders. I seriously cannot wait to come back here and try every single thing on the menu!

We had a dinner reservation last Saturday which we showed up a little early to have a cocktail before hand. It's located inside of a strip mall with loads of parking. A decent size patio seating. When you walk in, you're greeted with the hostess who were amazing. Right infront of you is the bar area. That itself isn't big at all. There's a few seat along the bar area and that's about it. Also inside dining isn't big as well. Restaurants wasn't massive but nice and quaint and very busy. We were told that if we wanted to grab a drink and take it outside to a spot while we wait for our table it would be fine. They would come get us once it's ready. Cocktails and wine menu was quite nice. They do allow you to bring up to two bottles for a corkage fee. Which we did take advantage of. But beforehand, started off with their smoke and sour cocktails. Mezcal, lime, hibiscus juice, farm egg whites and cherry bitters. It was quite delicious and that smoked mezcal, wow. If you like mezcal, it's worth trying. Bar area isn't big so we had to stand there and wait for our drink. Maybe a 10 to 15 minutes later, we were informed our table was ready. We were seated right behind the bar area for a table for four. I believe Jonathan was our waiter. Very sweet and friendly. Also, it did seemed like a lot of regulars. All the staff members seem to know everyone that was dining. Menu is limited but quite impressive. We started off with a few shared plates before the entrees. -Ember roasted red beets with preserved lemon crèma, spiced pumpkin seeds, pickled Fresno chilis and mint. Wow, it was delicious. The flavors with the beets, kiss kiss. -Smoke trout toast- blisters cherry tomatoes, candy beets, wild arugula, crème fraiche and lemon. This was top dish for starters from all of us. The flavor of the trout was the star of the dish. Highly recommend. -Mushrooms flatbread- shiitake, buna shimeji and oyster mushrooms, tarragon, fiore di Latte mozzarella and crème fraiche. Mushrooms lovers with amazing variety all combined together for a delicious bite. -Spicy scampi flatbread- rock shrimp, parsley, garlic, Calabrian chilis and parmigiano reggiano. It's literally having a seafood scampi but on a flatbread. Wow wow, favorite out of the two flatbread. Definitely recommend. Entrees, Manila clams and salt spring mussels tossed in spaghetti with Calabrian chilis and parsley. The flavors were excellent. Simple but very tasty. -Crispy gnocchi with cherry tomatoes, basil in a Parmesan fondue. It's alway a hit or miss for me but this was a hit. And the elk which was maybe a special. Not quite sure the whole description but it was very tasty. Plus it was very tender and cooked perfectly and mixed with a sauce and topped with crispy onions. Another hit. Lastly we actually had room left for dessert which was the bread pudding. Hot with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream. Perfect way to end an amazing meal. The service was great. Food was excellent and highly recommended. Each dish had its unique taste that was delicious. Everything ordered was outstanding and no crumbs were left. We would definitely be back.

I'd been wanting to go back and take Dear Hubby to enjoy this very special re-imagining of the previous space, which had been an Irish pub incarnation. When our sister-in-law and two nieces were in town, the five of us were able to spend a quick evening together at Selvin's. We had been working on a project at our house, and by the time we got finished and ready to go out there wasn't a lot of time left as we went on a weeknight and they close at 9:00. I'm surprised that having a full bar, and being attached to a hotel property, that they would hang it up so early - even 9:30 or 10:00 would make more sense. It's such a charming place; seems a shame to have to call it a night so early. The ambiance is absolutely divine, especially out here in suburbia. It's very innovative in its layout. The lighting was carefully planned and is very effective in creating a special mood. And, what can be said about the wall of roses? It's tailor-made for snapping fun photos, that's for sure. The chef is sending out creative and Dee-Licious dishes from the kitchen. Yes, I know how to spell delicious, but it is worth adding the accented flair to stating the fact that this is a cut above many other dining establishments in the Conejo Valley. Dear Hubby and I shared Pappardelle Pasta and a Tuna Tartare appetizer. Both were excellent. One of our nieces ordered the taco platter. Wait till you see the photo. The only thing that was disappointing, menu-wise, was that bread wasn't included, so we ordered some as a side. Two little slices. I've forgotten the price, but I recall that it turned into sticker shock when we saw what was served. I'm tickled that they offer a nice array of zero proof cocktail options. They aren't inexpensive - apparently spirits without alcohol aren't any less (or maybe only slightly less?) than the full-spirited options. Still, it's nice to have the option. Our out of town family members LOVED Selvin's; it was a big hit with all of us. As an added bonus, there was a guitarist playing beautiful acoustic music when we arrived and were seated in the lounge area. Major extra credit!

It's the perfectly curated trio - Dirty Martini, followed by a well dressed crisp Cesar salad, and perfectly hot Truffle French fries. That's girl dinner in a nutshell (trust us on this combo). On their speciality menu it's called "Martinis and Munchies for Two" for $49. An amazing deal split between two friends. Dirty Martini: Some of the best ice cold martinis on this side of town. These cocktails were crafted to perfection and were always a sucker for the blue cheese stuffed olives. Tossed Cesar Salad: A Cesar salad during these hot summer months always hits the spot. Crisp, cold and fresh. The dressing was solid but I must highlight the lightly scattered capers on this salad - so smart and so tasty! Truffle French Fries: After a few martinis these French fries come in clutch. Crispy, hot and perfectly salted - who doesn't love a French fry and an aioli with a kick. Honorable Mention: PASTA. I was very impressed with my pasta dish here. Ordered the pappardelle bolognese and this pasta was a 10/10. Perfectly cooked ribbons of pasta with a hearty meat sauce and the Stracciatella topping sealed the deal for me on this pasta. We had a fabulous girls dinner from start to finish. The ambience at Selvin's is truly magical and we just love the decor and bar area. We had a cozy little booth to ourselves and the service was top-notch from start to finish. Extra kudos to Claudia for being a bubbly, lovely girls girl who was super attentive to us during our meal and made the night A+. Can't wait to come back soon.

The first thing that I was surprised by was that any base broth that wasn't effectively just water coated extra. The seaweed water base was pretty much flavorless and would only recommend for people looking for something more bland. The sukiyaki was also not amazing because it was more salty than sweet. Felt like too much soy sauce was added for my taste The briskets were pretty low grade for the price (imo). They were super tough to chew and the ribeye was only marginally better. The veggie platter that came with the order was pretty standard and nothing bad nor special about it. Seating arrangement is a bit awkward for larger groups. My group was 5 people and since it's all bar seating it was difficult to converse with everyone so I wouldn't recommend this spot for bigger groups Staff here were awesome.
