The manager/owner made us feel genuinely welcome, checked in at the right moments, and made sure everything was perfect without being overbearing. That personal touch makes a huge difference. My wife and daughter treated me to this restaurant for fathers day 2026 (one day early to avoid crowds). What a hidden gem!!! The service was great but the food was outstanding. I had the rack of lamb with roasted potatoes and my wife had the chilean sea bass with brocollini. I do not exagerate when I say it was the best rack of lamb I've had at a restaurant. Perfectly cooked medium rare and substantial amount. And my wife was loving her fish. And the Tiramisu was the best I've ever had, for sure. It was served in a martini-like glass and was firm, not like other places where it is so fluffy that you feel like you're not eating anything but air. First time here with my friends and we had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the presentation was excellent. We got burrata and a beet salad to start. Then we shared the branzino, short rib pasta, and lobster pasta with glasses of wine. Dessert was a chocolate soufflé and tiramisu which was so good. The atmosphere was very cozy and service was great. It was pretty full for a Saturday night so I'm sure they have a steady list of regulars who frequent this spot. I came here last night to celebrate my birthday, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant is small, with around 10 tables, and only about half were occupied, so it was not busy. We were seated at a nice table, but that was the highlight of the evening. The server took our order and that was essentially the last interaction we had with them. The food took about 45 minutes to come out for a simple pizza and pasta. When it did arrive, it was very mediocre. Nothing memorable, and honestly worse than many chain restaurants. Service was the main issue. Every time we needed water, utensils, or anything at all, we had to physically get up and ask the busser for help. I repeatedly tried to get the server's attention, but he avoided eye contact and never checked on our table. We also wanted more bread, but there was no one available to ask. Because it was my birthday, I expected at least a basic acknowledgment. We were never offered a dessert menu or asked about preferences. Instead, a tiramisu was brought to the table with a candle without asking. I am highly allergic to chocolate and caffeine, so I couldn't eat it at all. To make matters worse, no forks or spoons were provided with the dessert. After waiting several minutes, I had to get up again to ask for utensils. I would not return to this restaurant. The service was unacceptable, the food was mediocre, and the overall experience completely missed the mark for a birthday dinner. read more

Pizza is barely better than fast food. Good cheese but the dough was dry and burnt. Arugula salad was ok nothing special. Service was a little slow. They appear to take care of their regular customers much faster evidenced by the couple who came right after us and got their focaccia and water 15 minutes before us. You will definitely feel a bit of that old school Italian restaurant vibe at Noi Due. As for the food...the Bresaola was that perfect combo of meat, cheese, and arugula. Really nice start. The cacio e pepe was solid, not Rome but not fair to compare. The Brasato Barolo was a pleasant surprise. The meat was so tender, they brought a cutting knife but no need. As many have said, the opening focaccia bread is so delicious! The first order is on the house, but know that you will get charged if you finish it and order more. Speaking of charges, the prices do feel a bit high for much of the menu; consider that before you go. I really enjoyed the Bresaola appetizer ($24). The combo of meat, cheese, and peppery arugula was a perfect start, especially paired with the Chianti we ordered. Jim G. and I split the Brasato Barolo ($42) and the Cacio e Pepe ($30). Both were good, though I was hoping for great. The Brasato was incredibly tender and the pasta was cooked to an appropriate doneness. It's still a mystery for most restaurants in the US to get Cacio e Pepe perfect, but it was a good dish. Friendly service, though we lost him for a bit. Seemed like a decent number of large parties hit at around the same time, so perhaps the staff wasn't totally ready. Enjoyable meal and enjoyable evening. read more

Most delicious item here is their Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe!! It's simply delectable, mouthwatering and ultra addicting!! Sauce is very rich and full of flavor!? You can also order Spaghetti Cacio e Pepe glutton free if you have to but I tried both and there's no comparison to the original. Either way, have some of their bread which is very tasty too. A great Start is their home made minestrone. So authentic and flavorsome!. They offer great tasting seafood too: The Sea Bass, Branzino or Salmon are all very delicious especially with a side of mashed potatoes!!! I need more than 5 stars. The takeaway: get your butt over here. Food, service, wine, staff and atmosphere all get 5 stars. Let's break this down, shall we? Antonio, the owner, greeted us like we were regulars. He brings us to our table and we chat about Los Angeles area restaurants, feeling each other out and we eventually prove that we (and by that I mean mainly my partner) know enough names of restaurant owners, chefs and maître d's to show we understand the elements of a good restaurant meal. We selected a pinot noir Hahn SLH recommended by the waiter and at the first sip knew we were in for a great evening. Conversation with the waiter exhibited a truly deep understanding the elemental ingredient of each dish. The bread: exquisite. Eat it. That is enough said. Cesar salad. Expertly dressed, the only downside (and I mean only downside for the whole evening) was that anchovy filets were not on the salad. We ordered a side of them and they were the pedestrian and salty brown sardines, instead of the delicate white sardines you get at Mozza (for instance). Next stop: Branzino. Cooked just right, from the flaked flesh to the semi-crisp skin. A squeeze of lemon was not necessary, but did elevate. Fettuccini with mushrooms in a wine sauce: perfectly al dente, and the mushrooms were coaxed to produce a perfect hint of... was that truffle? No, no... umami. Yes, that was it. Dessert: they were out of the amaretto semifreddo so we had the strawberry semifreddo. Better than average, but slightly below par for this establishment. These guys know exactly what they are doing. What started out as a nice dinner, quickly declined into a really frustrating experience. After putting in our order for appetizers and drinks, the waiter never came back to take our order. We finished our appetizers and wine and only when another staff member started taking our menus, we let them know we did not order yet and had been ready to order. They had to call back over our server Julian to take our order. After about 20 minutes Julian returned to tell us the two dinner specials we ordered were just sold out 10 minutes prior. He didn't offer a menu to look at, or any other replacement suggestions. After asking to see a menu, another 20-30 minutes passed without taking the second half of our order. We could see the kitchen staff looking at us waiting for the remainder of the order. I Attempted to flag our server down again but was ignored. Again we had to call another server over to finish the order and as I was expecting, it came out at two separate times. Not once did he check in, just dropped the check off and went to the back to change into sweats. We were planing to order dessert but the server didn't come back. When trying to let Julian know that the service was disappointing, especially celebrating someone's birthday, he told us that we don't have to come back. read more

What a rip-off! Four of us dined here last week, and this restaurant charges outrageously high prices for food that is mediocre at best. I mean, $19 for a salad, really? When we ordered, the waiter mentioned a long list of dinner specials, but didn't state the prices and nowhere were the specials listed. Most restaurants do one or the other -- or both -- without the guest having to ask. I ordered the Pappardelle with porcini truffles. Granted, mushrooms can be expensive, but they charged $55 for this dish. C'mon, $55 for PASTA! I was in shock when the bill came. I visited NY a few months ago, and a comparable pasta dish in New York City is HALF the price. Speaking of pricing, this restaurants also charges a $35 corkage fee if you bring your own wine. You'd be better off bringing a sizeable bank account, because you'll need it to dine here. There are plenty of other great Italian restaurants in the area (we've tried several). We had a 6:30 pm reservation, but didn't get seated until after 7pm, it's a small restaurant, so no big deal, but we waited at the table for another 20 minutes before someone finally brought us the menus. Later the owner came and rattled off the "specials", one person in our party ordered a pasta special the "Pappardelle porcini truffle". No prices were posted or published...lesson learned...ask the price of the specials!!! All the food was mediocre, but the truffle pasta was particularly tasteless and they charged us $90 for the pasta dish!! I ordered the $28 lasagna that arrived in a small ramekin dish and was dry and bland. We're not returning! read more

Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and booked through open table. The food was done well, but the service was not great. The server was not attentive. We had to flag down someone else to get more menus, take our order and let the kitchen know our orders were put in at different times since some of the specials we ordered were no longer available. What is so disappointing and honestly quite shocking is that we just let the staff know why we were disappointed with the service at the conclusion of our meal. Largely this was due to our server being on his phone and then randomly changing into pajama bottoms before we even had the opportunity to pay the bill. We were told by our server, Julien that if we are not happy with the service, you do not have to come back. Not even sure how to process that when spending over $200 for dinner. I understand that restaurants can have off days, but to be told just not return because of negative feedback is out of line. Disappointed. read more
