I spent about 10 minutes walking around Victoria's Secret without a single greeting. I had to track down a sales associate, who barely acknowledged me and just told me to check online. In contrast, when I walked into SOMA, I was immediately greeted by Lindsay. I explained that I had recently undergone breast surgery and wasn't sure what I needed. She made me feel completely at ease, measured me to find the right size, and helped me find options that worked. She even went the extra mile to order additional colors online that weren't available in-store. Lindsay was incredibly helpful, kind, and professional--the kind of customer service that truly stands out. I've already told at least six of my closest friends about my great experience at SOMA. I finally have a minute to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to SOMA & 2 exceptional women (Sarah & Priscilla) that gave excellent customer service! First of all, let me say I loathe bra shopping & haven't been able to find any that are comfortable and/or fit me...!! But it all changed as I walked in & was genuinely greeted & Sarah was so patient & so helpful - no pressure!! The. I was telling her that I was there to return a bra, as I bought 2 but already wearing the other - then she happily suggested the return policy. Still so pleasant & helpful, they didn't have the colors I wanted in my size so she suggested they will order & ship to me (so I do t have to come back to the store! Customer Service should be modeled by these 2 women/company... walked out so much lighter & happier than when I went in to the store.... So a family friend told me about Soma a couple of years ago and to this day.... I can't thank her enough for doing so. They are literally the COMPLETE opposite of another competitor company's customer service that I have also reviewed in the past. I'm not sure how it's possible but every time I've gone into Soma everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful... and there was no exception when I visited a few days ago. I've been struggling to find bras that fit me lately and have tried and failed with some online websites. I walked in and was immediately greeted by both associates in the store. Lindsey approached me further after a few minutes of browsing and asked if there was anything I could help with. I told her my online shopping fails and what size I was and she advised me that they don't carry my size in store but I could order online and return or exchange in store without a problem. Feeling a little defeated, I continued browsing their undergarments and sleepwear. Sarah, the other associate, came to me and said she could still walk me through the bra options in my size that are offered online and just show me them so I could take a look at the style in person. All of a sudden, Lindsey came over with a bra in hand saying that she did some digging in the back and found something in my size. I was so elated and went immediately to the dressing room to try it on. Moments later, Lindsey was at my door again checking in on how things were going and letting me know she found more options in my size. I was so thrilled and she genuinely was happy that she was able to help me. Once I tried things on and went through my options, I went to check out and Sarah made sure that I was getting any and all discount prices that were being offered on their website as she said they always will do a price match to what is online. She also was sure to tell me their return policy of 60 days wash OR worn which is pretty much unheard of. I ended up walking out with 8 bras and truly I felt so much better because both Sarah and Lindsey took the time to make sure I felt normal and could enjoy shopping. They went above and beyond and made me feel so welcome. Soma seems to be the only place I can finds bras that fit. I went in on 12/19, around 6:30 and was assisted by Leslie Rojas at store #5417. She was VERY helpful and patient. I had really been needing some new bras since having a baby, nursing and now having completely different boobs than before my child. I had never been to Soma and had always used Victoria Secret in the past. Was getting fed up with VS high prices and bras that fall apart. I was happy to find that Soma carries much larger cup sizes than VS. The sales lady Taylor fitted me to see what size I was and pulled every single style in the store for me to try on. She advised me which were her favorites and gave me a lot of nice choices. Once I found the bra styles that I liked, she directed me to each area in the store to pick out the color and pattern that I like. She even busted out a large box from the back with patterns that were not displayed. I ended up spending around $215 on 6 bras which is about average on a price I would expect to pay. They have a nice clearance area as well. They gave me a card with bra washing tips and Taylor showed me how to hang my bras so they maintain their shape. Overall, great customer service. I'm a fan of the company- have gone out of my way to get my bras here for the past three years, despite the fact that they don't have as many locations as other shops. The service and product quality typically make it more than worth the extra effort. After my experience at this location though, I might stick to the online shop in the future. Ordered online during a sale and bought 3 bras for just under $93. Came in to exchange for correct sizing. Was helped by a polite lady, who then had difficulty ringing me up. Another associate stepped in to help, and declared that my "new" total was $93. When I asked them to double check that my credit had been applied, New Associate tried to imply that the price increase was due to my switching to another bra style with a higher price tag-- high enough to make me double the price? Staff seemed unsure how to exchange my purchase, or else were deliberately trying to return and re-charge me full price for my exchanged products (probably to meet a daily sales goal). It literally took around 15 minutes for me to be correctly cashed out. I'm not sure how that happens, and why I had to point out that it was not correct. Product is great. Staff can be great. I needed to try on several sizes in a couple different bras, and I lived that my associate was great at finding and bringing me the new sizes and styles to try on. I was very excited to try Somas undergarments however I did not have a good experience with the sales person. I was first insulted on the size she thought I wore when I clearly told her my pant size. I told the lady it was my first time buying Soma and asked if their material holds it shape since I was debating on a medium or a large.. was told to compare the underwear in my mind to whatever I have at home. The worst customer service at the DTS store! This is what I have experienced at this particular store for years. I avoid this location, would rather drive the distance and spend my money elsewhere. I decided to try this location again, and was quick to learn that some things never change. Sad to say the manager didn't step in to help her new employee. I've never had a bad experience at Soma until tonight. I came in earlier this morning and was helped by too ladies Zelma and Shaye. They were so sweet and helpful. They helped me pick out 2 bras and told me it was buy one get one 50% off . I bought two bras and happily left. A few hours later I tried the bras on again underneath my clothes and realized I liked the bralette more than the other bra so I decided to go back and exchange the normal bra for another bralette. I was first approached by a sweet older lady who then directed me to a younger employee. I was explaining to her that I had misunderstood the employee earlier and that I would like to return one bra and get another bra.. super simple . The young employee named FARRAH started off with super rude sarcasm and then it gradually began to get ruder and ruder. I would ask a question and she would respond with the most attitude I have ever gotten. Just wanted to make sure that the exchange and refund was all good and she would not even answer that without attitude. The entire 10 min scenario was awful but one line was "I'm not asking you, I'm TELLING you" and another " Is THAT what you want ??" And then screaming in my face that my one bra is not apart of the sale .... I also work in sales and I know that this is NOT how you treat a customer. She pushed me to the limits to the point where I almost walked out in tears. Her tone, attitude, sarcasm, and eye rolling was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. My first time in Soma. it was a great Experience. Jerry was incredible! she was so helpful and patient. She helped me get fitted then brought me so many options to try on. She was continuously checking in to make sure I was doing ok. Jerry definitely made the trip easier and more comfortable. These are the best bras I've tried on. They were so soft and comfortable. They were on the pricier side but its worth it for the quality and they will last much longer than what I usually get. They also have some really good sales. My tip is to get fitted for a bra, if you've never done it before. I will be bringing my mom and sister to Soma, and I'll be asking for Jerry. read more

I like Soma items in general.... But twice in one month I have walked out of this (Summerlin Downtown) store empty handed --- after selecting about 200.00 worth of apparel. I walk in and immediately get stalked by a woman who studders and sneaks up behind you and reads you the size and sign/price per item. Hello -- I'm capable of reading the tags. As politely as possible -- I said "i m good, I can read the tags and really don't need any help right now" I walk to the next rack and stalker lady is back, studdering over my shoulder reading me the sale sign and tags. REALLY ? WTH. I decline once again and say I'll call if i need help. Now I go to third rack and creeper shows up again -- at my shoulder WTH lady. PERSONAL SPACE !!! I put all five items down and walk out. Managers --- you really need to explain "PERSONAL SPACE" "BODY LANGUAGE" and "VERBAL CUES" to your employees. Ugh. read more

I had the worst experience possible at this place. I have always bought bras from them, but I have never been treated this way. It first started when I walked into the store, a older accent woman seemed irritated that I even asked for help. I told her that I recently lost weight and that the back of my bra keeps unlatching when I walk. The lady goes "well welcome to wearing a bra." Like I'm some type of child just starting out. I have always had trouble finding a bra because I'm very tiny in the waist but have bigger breasts. As I was in the dressing room, she did nothing but give me problems. I tried to keep my mouth quiet to not start any problems. Later, I took the bra that is too big for me because I needed one. At the register, she kept saying that the coupon I had does not work. I said, yes it does it says it on here. She finally went to go get her manager, I told the young blonde manager what was wrong and she did offer a 10% discount. I got home and researched bras and they say the bra should never rise up your back, which I knew. The lady that sized me was saying well that's all that's going to fit you. After being still uncomfortable for a few days, I will be returning them and going elsewhere. I have never had problems with Soma until now, I would recommend downtown summerlin. If you do go there, the older lady with an accent I would avoid and ask another employee. Very disappointed. read more

This is not a cheap product people should be treated nicely when they go in . My mom and I saw the commercial for the vanishing back bra and we were so excited to find a Soma locally. We entered the store and were greeted by an African American woman. I stated that we saw a commercial for the bra and it was our first time in the store. The woman handed us off to another woman and said she was the "bra queen" and she walked away. The woman was nice, but she didn't seem confident in her ability to size or sell bras. She measured my mother at a 40DD and she wears a 38C. She then measured me at a 44D which is what I normally wear. She gave me a couple bras and disappeared. I had to walk out in my cami to try and find help. The bra queen was helping my mom so I decided to ask the other woman for help. She blew me off and said that she needed to eat and the other woman could help me. I attempted to try on 2 other bras with no help. I got frustrated and gave up. I went to the underwear table and asked a younger associate if they had cotton underwear. She said, "most of these are cotton" and then she walked away. No one offered to help us again and we left the store. Horrible customer service. Over priced clothes and bras. No thank you. read more

I love Soma, product wise they are wonderful. However this location leaves much to be desired. I went in planning to spend quite a bit of money, and was quickly informed my bra size is only made in three colors (not basic colors). And if they did ever come in another color they were online only. The bras I was looking at were exact replacements and were purchased in store well over a year and half ago and saw them in store at fashionshow last week. The fashionshow mall and town square locations Ive had nothing but great seevice, but unfortunately are far from my home, and oddly never had an issue finding my size. read more
