The pollo fundido here is a good. They load the jalapeño cream cheese. The cheese quesadilla is a bit flimsy and uses unusual cheese. Usually solid meal.

Atmosphere is super cute. Food is good. Booths are spacious. Staff always seem stressed and rushed no matter how kind and friendly I attempt to be. It just really never feels like they care that I am here giving them my business, and that has always bothers me. I got here shortly after 11am so it is not even busy, yet. I do not know why they can't be a little nicer or at least smile. I feel like I am inconveniencing them to take the time to take my order and prepare my food. I should not need to feel that way. Still I keep coming back, year after year. Something about dining here feels festive. I am glad this location has a drive thru. I have also used that before. Soda is always good. This is important to me and can ruin my whole experience at a restaurant if soda doesn't taste good. The lids are a struggle to put in the cups though. I overheard an employee helping a firefighter get his lid on, and I mentioned that I always have the same struggle, myself. They have Christmas music on which is nice for mid-December. There is a lot of yelling coming from the kitchen which is a bit distracting and detracts a bit from the experience. Oh well. Not a huge problem.

It was time for lunch and I felt like having something Mexican. Since I was already at the Promenade, I drove over to Someburros. The police had quite a few hungry customers eating and waiting in line for their order. I decided on a shredded chicken burro. I got my free chips with the order, paid and found seating. I got my drink and anxiously awaited the order. A staff person delivered my meal to me. The Burro was hot and juicy. It made a nice mess on my hands and plate. Well that's what napkins are for. I have the other half for later. They have their own parking lot and there's also shared parking.

Uhm wow can't believe I have not left a review for my favorite Mexican food spot in my neighborhood! Someburros is like soul food for the soul! I love love love the verde scramble burrito! Omg the green sauce is seriously to die for I could eat 10 sides with my 1 burrito! The drive thru is super convenient and fast service for restaurant style food. The restaurant is super cute and has an authentic Mexican feel on the inside which is surprising from the outside looking like a quick Mexican drive thru! Love the mini chimis fondido style sooooo yummy! We love someburros

People from work recommend that I try this since I'm new to Arizona. When husband and I walked in we were immediately greeted by the friendly employees! It's great to know that this is a family-owned company. Service was fast and our food was hot and delicious! I'm a cheese enchilada aficionado and these are very tasty and authentic. Add a crunchy beef taco it's a fabulous meal! Love their homemade hot sauces and their chips are so yummy too! Great location near T. Joes.

I hate to say it, but Someburros is terrible. First-time customer and I'm confident this is my last visit. I stopped in to satisfy a craving for tacos, but it was hardly edible. The shells were painfully hard, the meat was tough, and lettuce wasn't fresh. Peep my pictures. One is supposed to be ground beef and the other chicken. Yuck. I wanted to love this "family-owned business," but it's hard to comprehend how it stays in business. I basically paid $12 for a fountain drink as I couldn't eat more than two bites of this food. I do not recommend. At all.

Someburros was fine. I enjoyed the chips and salsa, the food took around 25 minutes to come out which seemed excessive for a fast casual spot that wasn't busy. Service was friendly on ordering. I had the Machacha beef, egg, and potato burro. It was fine both ends took a few bites to get into any of the filling. Did like you can tell they use real eggs in it. My wife had the asada breakfast burro with a side of sour cream. Glad she ordered the sour cream to use some on mine as well as a little dry. It was fine we won't be back but could have worse food in the price range.

I have lived in the north Scottsdale area now for about six months. Today I was exhausted from working outside all day and while I was leaving Lowe's from grabbing some things for the backyard I decided to go through the drive through. I absolutely am shocked at the quality and freshness. It tastes like I just sat down at a Mexican restaurant! They even have to go margaritas. While I didn't try one I'm interested in trying one next time!

    Chicken Enchiladas

Any substitutions here means paying a whole lot more. We ended up paying $6 more just to substitute chicken adobo and they even charged us extra for rice and beans. This makes no sense, so what is the point of ordering an enchilada entree where even rice and beans are not included in the price. When we checked our bag, they did not even include chips. Very disappointing after paying $20.

The tacos reminded me of a restaurant in Sierra Vista when I was there years ago. The shell had a similar taste. Service was great and the staff was very friendly.

What a fun and tasty spot! Traditional Mexican food at a fast pace. My family loves visiting when we come into town. A great variety of food with breakfast services all day. In addition, they have the most amazing selection of naturally flavored waters/cold tea in addition to soda. Save room for dessert because it is sooo good!!!

I ordered the salmon poke bowl with brown rice. What I received was the salmon poke bowl with quinoa. The iced tea was $5. A side of Brussels sprouts was $8 and very small. Our table had poured and downed almost all of the water in the carafe before I noticed a small black beetle submerged at the bottom of it. When I told the server, he replaced it, but didn't give everyone new glasses. Only me. My friend ordered a wrap and asked for it to be gluten free. The person who brought the food told her that it was gluten free. The server, who had taken the order, came back and told her it wasn't gluten free. He told her he'd replace it and take it off of her bill. It took her forever to get the new wrap. And when she got the bill, he hadn't removed it from her tab.

This review is for the totality of the experience…read more I made an advance reservation at Alma Scottsdale for a mid-sized group of 7 to celebrate a special occasion. Our party arrived right on time for our reservation, but we were not seated until 15 min later because our table was not ready. It took about an additional 15 min to get tap water for the table (there was not enough provided anyways), and to place our orders too another ~20 min. The food did not arrive until 30 min later. For context, we eventually learned that the restaurant was short staffed and the bartender was also operating as our waiter. When the food finally arrived, there was a mix-up on what was delivered. We had checked with the staff who delivered one of the dishes: we ordered the "wild mushroom" side, but what we received did not look quite like it. We asked clarifying questions x2, but were assured, "no, it is the wild mushroom." Turned out, it was the mushroom empanada that was delivered to our table, which we originally did not order. The management did rectify the situation upon the conclusion of the event when we were paying the bill, but to us, it felt a bit accusatory as if we intentionally wanted to cause a huge fuss about the final total, which was absolutely not the case. The food in general was delicious. If this was a more standard dining experience, it would have been 4-5 stars just for the food. The service was very subpar, and really colored the entire experience negatively, therefore the two star review. I understand that staffing shortages happen -- fine. My family has worked in food service as wait staff for 25+ YEARS, so I am empathetic. But for management to ring up our bill and then come confront us in an inflammatory manner, making us feel like we were wrong, on an occasion to celebrate something special, was extremely disappointing.

I ordered the Honey Jalapeño Chicken Sandwich with fries, and so did my friend. We both agreed it was delicious especially after adding a little ranch. Since we had a larger group, we ordered a martini tower, which was fun to share and definitely had enough alcohol to catch a nice vibe. One of my friends ordered the Huevos Rancheros and really enjoyed them, while another got the chicken sliders and liked them so much she took the leftovers home and happily finished them later. The highlight of the experience was the live one-man band, who created a great atmosphere, and our server, "Flexy Lexi." She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Great food, fun drinks, live entertainment, and excellent service. We'll definitely be back!

The six of us were seated across from the bar, and it was HOT . I started sweating and needed to use the menus as a fan and drink water to try and cool off. The restaurant had already been open for almost 2 hours, so I am not sure why it was so hot inside (others in our party were hot too, so I wasn't just me). Positives are the restaurant's beach decor and the hamburgers. Several people in our party ordered burgers, and they were cooked to perfection and the fries were really good! Negatives are very few seafood menu options and the fish tacos were terrible. They were drowning in a mayonnaise based slaw. The corn tortillas were really fresh and tasty, but when I bit into my taco I could mostly only taste mayonnaise and the pickled onions. Our friends even made an unsolicited comment that my tacos did not look good. Luckily, I selected fries as my side, because they were the best thing on my plate. With a name like Montauk, and the beach decor, I expected more fresh seafood options on the menu. More than half the menu was not seafood (Mediterranean platter, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, brussels sprouts, salads, etc.). Unfortunately, Montauk does not live up to the hype.

The customized menus for occasions are a staple and always super fun and a fantastic touch and a way to stand out and be unique compared to other high end restaurants. I loved the classic but modern feel of the whole restaurant. Our server has medium length hair and there's an open flame live lit candle and every time she bent over to clean the table or put food down, I was extremely worried her hair was about to catch on fire, she did not tuck her hair or anything just free will letting it dangle hoping it wouldn't catch on fire. Very concerning. We've been here a handful of times before for special occasions and it's been fantastic. However I don't know why the flavors this time just were not it. Everything, I mean everything, was so extremely salty. Not just the seafood tower we got and the lemon pasta but the steak, the sides, everything was so so so salty. I finished 5 glasses of water that night. We also specifically requested to save the bone from the tomahawk because we like to make stew from it. Sure that's not very fine dining of us but I also don't think that's for other people to judge. But the servers didn't pack the bone like we requested. The sides were very delicious though! Slightly salty like I said but the flavor itself was fantastic!! Plenty of free parking at the nearby parking garages at the mall, just a 5min walk is all
