I got the Terry Terrific, which comes with smoked turkey, herb bread stuffing and cranberry sauce. You can't get a sandwich with the combo of these flavors and ingredients just anywhere. So to be able to have something different was a great change of pace from just your typical sandwich. I believe my Wife got the smoked turkey sandwich, added cheese and red onion. It was good but nothing to write home about. The star of the show though was the egg salad. Best egg salad my Wife and I have ever had. If you stop in at Something Natural you have to get the egg salad. They also have an assortment of local drinks and juices to get with your food. We got a strawberry lemonade which paired well with the sandwiches and the weather. They have plenty of outdoor seating. The walk to this place was beautiful. Went here for breakfast but at 9:30 in the morning although they were open they had run out of bacon so could not make a BLT or any sandwich with bacon on it. I therefore opted for egg salad on herb bread with lettuce and tomato. We opted to eat our sandwiches there. When I opened the sandwich it was a crumbly mess that fell apart when I tried to pick it up. Both sides of the bread were soggy so it seemed as if the sandwich was made on a wet cutting board, I went back to show the young lady that the sandwich was inedible and she let me order something else and explained that the herb bread tends to be very delicate. I ordered salami and provolone on sourdough with no vegetables as I figured that was hard to screw up. After ordering she went to charge me for the new sandwich even though I didn't and could not eat any of the old sandwich. I had to ask to talk to a manager to explain what happened. He was not apologetic at all even though I showed him the sloppy,wet, falling apart sandwich. He did however make me a new one in the end without charging me. This little shop is another must on a visit to Nantucket and it didn't disappoint. We walked here after a trip to the beach yesterday and ate our sandwiches at the pool and they made the perfect lunch. I had the curry chicken salad and my husband had the veggie. We both ordered half sandwiches and they were plenty large enough to keep us full until dinner. Also delicious! They do have options for kids although our son got a hotdog at the sandbar so he wasn't hungry. There is a ton of room for kids to run around and play and the staff were all really friendly. Have come here for many years and always liked the quality and presentation. Today was a surprising experience. Ordered 2 sandwiches which we selected 'cut in half'. They were more like 70/30 cut. Totally not a big deal but the way the ham and cheese were presented left a lot to be desired. The ham was in a pile in the middle so there was no meat on either end. The cheese were the smallest pieces I've ever seen and I thought they forgot the mustard. Upon examination I did see it. Almost invisible to the naked eye. Just sloppy. At the window I saw the confusion of the girls making the sandwiches. They appeared young and flustered. Not sure there were and supervisors around. Tried this tucked away gem off of a residential street in Nantucket. Had the roast beef and the turkey on Portuguese bread. The turkey was just alright - nothing special but I will say the roast beef was exceptionally tender and flavorful! The bread was great and the veggies were fresh tasting. Very reasonably priced for the island and fyi the chocolate chip cookie was good and buttery (almost a French take on the American classic). I would call this place Something Subpar. Apparently you can no longer go inside and order - you now order on a POS system outside, which is a massive PITA. I guess when you're in Nantucket people will pay up the wazoo to post a pic of a decent looking sandwich on Instagram. The name of the establishment is "Something Natural", something indeed. I spent over $100 happily for four (1/2) sandwiches and a salad and 3 beverages. IThe problem lies with the fact that three of the VEGETARIAN sandwiches had pieces of bacon on one, pieces of what I can only surmise was turkey on another, and a third sandwich, which was completely an identifiable meat item. The woman had a difficult time identifying the sandwich as well. I thought "let me be kind bring the three sandwiches back to the window, waiting in line for another 20 minutes and see if it's possible that they could just give us two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches." This, however, proved to be terribly problematic for the young lady behind the counter. As her offer/solution was to locate an alternative form of payment in my car even though they were crediting my card for almost $70 and then wait in line for an additional 22 minutes. My father, who is the least particular regarding food promptly threw his salad away within minutes of trying it. My stepmother decided to go to another establishment, Provisions, after trying her sandwich. While I would love to be able to have an easy, good, and a beautiful spot for sandwiches unfortunately they fall short in the sanitary category along with any sense of customer service. The one compliment I can give is that the three beverages that were sealed and had nothing to do with the establishment were perfectly fine. I do hope that the young ladies that are operating your line and food prep making the sandwiches could figure out how not to have cross contamination. Loved the roast beef I had here and a huge fan of the Portuguese bread that is all over Nantucket; however, I also love putting the works on my sandwich and the fresh baked bread can't handle that, so keep it simple and keep it light ... and I suppose "natural" and your sandwich won't be impossible to pick up or get floppy.
