    Veggie Sandwich
    Sarah W.

This little shop is another must on a visit to Nantucket and it didn't disappoint. We walked here after a trip to the beach yesterday and ate our sandwiches at the pool and they made the perfect lunch. I had the curry chicken salad and my husband had the veggie. We both ordered half sandwiches and they were plenty large enough to keep us full until dinner. Also delicious! They do have options for kids although our son got a hotdog at the sandbar so he wasn't hungry. There is a ton of room for kids to run around and play and the staff were all really friendly. They were even giving out free cookies. Definitely recommend!

Sandwiches were good, the parking was bad, and tip to the wise; you only need 1/2 a sandwich. They are huge!

We had a great experience at Something Natural! It was about a 15-minute walk from our hotel. The setup is casual and charming, all outdoor seating, it was a little windy but nothing terrible. You order via an iPad, pay, and they call your name when the food is ready. We shared a veggie sandwich and a peanut butter and jelly, both were delicious. The herb bread stood out as a highlight; super fresh and flavorful. The veggies on the veggie sandwich could've used a bit salt, but the bread more than made up for it.

Stopped by Something Natural after a long day at the beach -- and we're glad we did! This super cute restaurant was a great cap to our day by the water. We ordered on their electronic ordering system -- it wasn't super intuitive, but it got the job done. We sat at one of the various picnic tables in the yard which was super cute and relaxing. When our food was ready, an employee came out and called our name; we were really impressed with the quick turnaround. We got the veggie sandwich with several add-ons... the veggies were good, but the flavor palette lacked some depth. I would come back and try something else!

These sandwiches are absolutely natural! They come wrapped as if my mom made them! The farm itself is super chill and a great hang if you wish. Otherwise, grab your sandwich and head to the beach.

Pretty lawns and dogs are allowed.

Came by with my dog for a sandwich and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed my sandwich. I had the Terry Terrific. I ordered a $8.25/half sandwich and had it cut in half. What's crazy is the half sandwich is the size of a normal sandwich. A full sandwich is really large. The service was good. The staff was nice. It's easy to order online or at the outdoor window. There is only outdoor seating on a beautiful lawn. Overall a fantastic place for lunch. It's worth the visit!

I would eat from here every single day if I could! Literally the best sandwich we've ever had. Huge, delicious, unpretentious company. I'd give them 10 stars if I could!!

Can't wait to go back here and try their sandwiches. Their cookies are amazing we had the chocolate chip ones which were so soft, sweet and delicious! Great customer service I was offered samples to try both the cookies they had today. Sad they are closing on Monday for the season till spring I wish I found out about them sooner. There is an excellent picnic area where you can eat and relax outside. One of the best sandwich spots on the island. The food was fresh and filling.

Flavors - 4/5 Texture - 4/5 Presentation - 3/5 Value for money - 4.5/5 Would return? Yes Sandwich haven that serves massive creations with generous fillings. They have 8 different types of bread and you can put whatever you want in them. One standout is the tuna salad sandwich with hot peppers which created a harmonious sandwich symphony that left me craving more. But let's not forget about the turkey and bacon sandwich, with super crispy bacon and an insane amount of turkey. Be warned, though - they don't hold back on the sauces here, so choose wisely to avoid a saucy avalanche. A word of advice: Don't underestimate the portion sizes. The sandwiches here are truly colossal. Unless you possess an insatiable appetite, ordering a whole sandwich may be a daring endeavor.

The most classic sandwich shop on island! I always make a point to stop here before the beach and get a fresh sandwich to go. I recommend just getting a half sandwich because they are HUGE. The picture included with this review is just a half. I love the turkey sandwich, with cheese and a bunch of veggies. It's so good! Also make sure to try their lemonade or juices, those are also so good! If you want to eat on sight they have a large lawn area with spread out picnic tables. They also have easy parking (as long as it's not too packed).

Best sandwiches ever!! I came here 4x during my 3 day visit to Nantucket. I customized 2 turkey sandwiches, 1 ham and 1 veggie all on oatmeal bread and all of them were super good. Fresh veggies, high quality meat and their chutney is a 10/10! I purchased both the chutney and oatmeal bread to bring home because it was that good! The customer service was really friendly and I think the prices are worth it. Also, the atmosphere is perfect with picnic tables out front to eat outside. Couldn't be beat! Highly recommend.

We find ourselves craving this frequently. Man, if I could get that cookie dough shipped! Loved everything we've ordered from the menu. Good idea to preorder if you're there during the season.

Exterior of building. Order at the iPads and wait for your name to be called. Quick kitchen!

Lemon Press is exceptional for its hospitality. At dinnertime in the downstairs dining room, black…read moretea is brought for the table as soon as you sit down, along with rock sugar and dates. As our beautiful (and possibly Persian-American) server explained, this tea is a symbol of welcome in Persian culture. You hold a bit of rock sugar in your mouth as you drink your tea, allowing the sugar to dissolve slowly, and follow it all up with a bite of sweet date. It's a beautiful act of cultural sharing and hospitality that nourishes one on so many different levels. Food at Lemon Press is meant to be shared. There is a section of dishes "for the table" that comfortably feed two. And there are small plates and sides that are meant to accompany. We chose two small plates and two large plates, which was plenty of food for our group of four. The ROASTED CHARRED CAULIFLOWER ($23; almonds, brown butter, golden raisin, caramelized cauliflower foam, crispy kale) small plate was nothing short of phenomenal. There were wonderful textural contrasts: crisp kale; firm, but yielding slivers of almonds; tiny, tender cauliflower florets. There was fragrant brown butter and delicately sweet, caramelized cauliflower foam. We have had some very, very good cauliflower preparations in our lives, including Balaboosta's fried cauliflower with currants and pine nuts, Miznon's whole roasted cauliflower with sel gris (even better with tahini sauce), and creamy roasted cauliflower soup (my favorite recipe to make at home). But Lemon Press's roasted charred version was, we all agreed, probably the best preparation of cauliflower we can remember having, something that would not be at all out of place at Eleven Madison Park. Our other small plate, a northern Iranian dish called MIRZA GHASSEMI ($19; smoked eggplant, tomato, garlic, turmeric, egg, barbari bread), was also well made, a well executed traditional preparation. It was creamy, rich, nourishing, with all the hallmarks of a perfect comfort food. The Progeny thought it was too strongly flavored to eat by itself, but it paired perfectly with golden-crusted, sesame-flecked barbari bread. We found our small plates to be stronger than our larger, shared plates. They were sadly out of the duck fesenjoon on our visit. (I'd been looking forward to trying this dish since our visit earlier in the summer.) In its place, we ordered the SHORT RIBS & CHIPS ($54; house salad, za'atar fries). Flavors were vibrant, the meat glazed with something sweet and salty -- but the flanken-cut short ribs were largely fat and gristle. The salad was wonderfully fresh, the fries crisp. The KHORESHT GHORMEH SABZI ($54; lamb shoulder, burnt herbs, red kidney beans, dried lime, tahdig) was a traditional northern style, made with slow-cooked tender lamb; spinach and not just herbs, I think; and the unmistakable sour/bitter/umami flavor of limu omani (dried lime). There was a pretty circle of tahdig (sort of the equivalent of socarrat) and saffron rice to accompany. The Fambly noted the strong resemblance to north Indian saag gosht -- no surprise given the strong historical influence of Persian culture in north India, both through Persianized Mughal invaders and Nader Shah's later invasion. The amchoor (green mango powder) used in saag gosht even somewhat recalls limu omani. We declined dessert, since we had to get back to the pup -- but the check came with four lovely macaroons, served on coffee beans, another gracious touch. We have become so very enamoured with Lemon Press over their years. Cousins and co-owners Darya Afshari Gault and Rachel Afshari have brought in the talented South African chef Lyall Frosler, who beautifully executes Persian, Persian-influenced, and non-Persian dishes. They've honed a deep sense of hospitality, rooted in a very ancient, very beautiful culture. We feel so lucky and grateful to have this food on Nantucket!

We visited this place for our last meal before heading off Nantucket. We avoided it previously…read morebecause it was labeled as "touristy " but the reviews looked good so we went for it. It's busy but we got a table for 5 immediately at 10am. The options looked great. We got gluten-free avocado toast with an egg (bland and meh, I've had better), Turkish eggs (very good), LP. Breakfast (filling and tasty), açaí bowl with berries and honey (yum), midnight cold pressed juice, lemon ginger shot, iced matcha latte (too sweet), iced saffron cardamom (too sweet), iced latte (perfect). We were happy to end our trip here. The inside is summery with low and high tables near the bar. I had to ask for my drink twice because it appears they forgot it. The staff were friendly and apologetic. Loved it overall!
