First of all, the food was delicious! My boyfriend and I started out with the jasmine tea and spring rolls. The tea was served in a small pot and was very fragrant, I liked that it was loose leaf instead of bagged. To be completely honest, I sacrificed half the pot to the table before I figured out how to properly pour front eh stoneware but that's on me and my clumsiness. The spring rolls were so fresh! A common theme in all the food we had tonight. I'm used to shrimp spring rolls but these were pork, I enjoyed the flavor of the roll itself but these peanut sauce paired nicely. I got the chicken and vegetable pho, once again the freshness was evident. I was a bit worried when the menu said grilled chicken as I've had too many dry bird slices served to me but these were very moist, and not just because it was on top of the soup! All the vegetables were crisp, I was happy to see none were wilted or sad looking. The broth itself was fragrant and obviously made in house, there were clear flavors in it and the ginger was present and not over powering. My boyfriend got the spicy lemongrass beef pho. He had less to say as he's not quite the foodie I am but he liked the broth and different cuts of beef. He took out the tendons because of their texture but that was his only critique. When the pho was served, a plate with bean sprouts, cabbage, lime, and Thai basil was also presented. A pleasant surprise! I haven't been to spot that provided it without asking since I left home! Service was nothing special, courteous and quick. Our waters were kept full and the dirty dishes taken within minutes. She was polite enough not to comment on the mound of wet napkins from all the spilt tea either. Now let's talk the restaurant itself. The decor was clean and honestly quite impressive. Everything was well maintained and showed little wear, the tv on the wall showing videos of different dishes being prepared was interesting and a nice touch. When I say things showed little wear, there may be a reason for it. We were the only people in the restaurant at 6pm on a Friday. I don't know if word hasn't spread yet or if it's the location but the place was empty at prime time for dinner. It's on Yadkin which is a hub for military traffic but is further down and easy to miss from the road. Set back into their plot with the sizable parking lot between them and the road made it a bit difficult to spot if you're not looking for it. All in all, I would most definitely recommend this spot! I hope to see more people there the next time my man and I stop in. read more

Ok this was a hidden Gem wow what a great Asian fusion restaurant the Chinese dishes were ok, but some of the other food was out old this world yum, the noodles were seasoned to perfection and the broths were so good they made you smile. I will be back ! read more

Food was kind of weird like Wonton noodle was good like probably the around but expensive ($20), pho was mediocre like they used the flavor cube for broth but the worst was Vermicelli with pork, the pork and fish sauce flavor was totally off. Will probably not come back to this place unless the wife really crave their wonton noodle. New management was nice though. read more

Geez where do I begin... I can only speculate that the reviews calling this a hidden gem have no idea what the hell PHO is supposed to look and taste like. the waitress brought out a plate with what looked like 4 cups of bean sprouts, two basil leaves and some very thickly sliced jalapeños, (no cilantro?) the bowls of pho arrived to the table with all of the meat and noodles already inside the broth and topped with again what looked like 4 cups of parsley and scallion. This is a first for me, PHO is not usually served assembled like that. The broth, though edible was probably the most basic broth I've ever been served in a bowl of PHO, it lacked complexity and flavor. When I stirred the soup, I found that the bowl had been packed with tripe along with very tough and over cooked beef slices and questionable looking and again tough meatballs. This PHO was subpar to say the least, so much so that I had a lot leftover and I opted not to take it home. The service also was lacking, our waitress had the personality of a wet paper bag. There are much better places to get PHO in Fayetteville. Vietnam kitchen and Saigon Market are both excellent choices. Don't believe the reviews for this place, please save your money and time. read more

Solid place to have a meal! A bit far back from the main road and kind of hard to get in or out of the parking lot but that's the only drawback I saw. Appetizers were great, definitely get the egg roll! I got the rare beef and brisket pho, really good flavor and they are really generous with the portion sizes. My husband got the combination meat plate and the amount of food on his plate was unbelievable. Will definitely be making this place a regular stomping ground for us! read more

First time eating here at Fayetteville's newest Vietnamese Restaurant: Song Long. The food was absolutely amazing along with the service! So we went here because we thought it was the Vietnamese restaurant that was there previously but this was a new restaurant that seemingly served Thai Vietnamese Chinese and Japanese. The old restaurant was a bit run down but THAT food was amazing. Great pho and a wonderful bahn mi. BUT THE NEW RESTAURANT was not at all in the same league. Let's start with the service which was subpar. We had a stereotypically millennial waitress who had zero manners or personality. We ordered egg rolls and they were burned to a crisp and the dipping sauce was watery and not very palatable. The pho broth didn't hold a candle to the previous place or what Saigon Market offers, genuine pho broth. I had more noodles than meat in my pho and I ordered a pricier option that should have had more meat. I'm gonna say this was the first and last time at this establishment. Half of the menu has been taken away. Such as the chicken broth which is easy to make and the bun bo hue broth which takes a bit more prep time. It just feels like nothing i asked for in reference to pho was available except for a pho tai or a pho chay. However the service was fairly decent and it was fast. Just miss these staple soups and dont know why they are missing. read more
