Sadly, this location isn't getting better. We ordered tots, corn dogs, a hot dog, and mozzarella sticks. The corn dog seemed to be the most freshly made, everything else was dried out, stale, and barely warm. Also, the oil desperately needs to be changed out. Very old tasting. We were really disappointed. We used to love Sonic. We might give it one more try. But we'll give some space for improvement. Is it the management or is there any management? Hard to tell. read more

Credit card machine went down. Nobody bothered to let me know that it was cash or phone app only as I was ordering. I asked if there was *anything* that could be done, since I wouldn't have ordered if they would have let me know it was cash or phone app only, the carhop--who had my order in his hand, mind you--said he would speak with his manager. They never get the order right, I asked for a dirty Dr Pepper with vanilla and coconut cream, and my order comes out with a normal Dr Pepper. I proceed to ask for vanilla and coconut cream in a cup and they bring out one pump of vanilla syrup. Honestly it was a pretty good sonic awhile ago. But it's gone downhill. I always get a chicken sandwich or chicken wraps and on my last 3 visits including today my chicken has been burnt and the taste is awful. Pure burnt frying oil.. I also always tip a dollar or two and this time I decided not to and I'm happy I didn't. I would like to start by saying mayonnaise is absolutely disgusting on a hamburger. I ordered a number three with no mayo, no tomato add mustard and diced onions a route 44 cherry limeade . Can you guess what was on the burger, mustard, mayo and no onions, medium cherry limeade. I'm pretty sure if the employees would stay off their phones this would help get orders, correct. Do not ever go here. Was there today and the menu where you pay kept declining my card. To make this short they stole $120 off my card and would not give me my food. I called the police and they came and talked to the manager. It did no good and I will have to sue in civil court to get my money back. STAY away at all costs from this place. I truly don't understand how they continually screw up orders and keep their jobs..and a drink order at that. I ordered a strawberry limemade through the app. I asked for light ice and PAID for extra strawberries. Not only did I get a bunch of ice, but I got NO strawberries... just a little bit of the juice. I knew it looked light but thought I just needed to mix it up. That did nothing. I kept drinking it thinking I would get some strawberries towards the end but still nothing. I proceeded to pour some of the ice out in my sink and to my surprise I still found none. I am a tea connoisseur. And I can tell you not all Sonic locations know how to properly make tea. This Sonic has the best tea, hands-down. Try as I might, none of the tea I've attempted to make at home comes close to the perfectly brewed perfection at this Sonic. All restaurants should serve freshly prepared food, but at 3:30 in the afternoon it is not hot and fresh. The corn dog was either not cooked long enough or sat so long that the hotdog was cold in the center. Tots were cold. Fries and frito wraps were warmer but both too salty to eat. Get it together! Love my local sonic! Some are worried that we are losing the small town feel in Celina, but that is not the case at Sonic! I am a regular for my (almost) daily Diet Cherry Limeade ;), and I prefer Celina bc it is quicker that most and today I learned the extent of the great customer service. I grabbed my wallet as I was going out the door but must have gotten distracted by my little one and left it at home! I had already ordered when I realized and asked if I could go online and order instead and pay that way, or if they could take my card number down...After a minute, a sweet young man named DJ, assistant manager I assume, came out to assure me that my order had been comped by him and the head manager. They did not want me to have to go all the way home and back and recognized my car ;) Anyway, that definitely made my day! This place honestly has gotten downhill because first of all if you are working at any job I understand that we need to be respectful. I understand that there are days when we have those bad days. Waited almost 30 minutes to be taken my order( and it wasn't even that busy just 3 cars including myself) and when it was finally my turn to order the person was complaining that somehow they couldn't hear me and I know for a fact that I speak loud so I'm not sure what was happening because she started saying I can't hear you and she was just laughing, then the young girl started being rude. It just wasn't even busy. Once. I left she just stuck her middle finger at me I obviously saw her from the window.
