We used to come here a couple of times a year to meet my aunt and grandmother for lunch. My grandmother has since passed on but we have very fond memories of this place and will continue to support them whenever we are able. The food is very good and affordable. I order a burger most of the time and it comes with delicious chicken soup. If I didn't live so far away, I would come here at least once a week. Went here for lunch with my in-laws, and it made everyone happy. After taking forever to decide what to order (there were at least 5 sandwiches I wanted to try for lunch) I settled on grilled cheese with bacon. It came with soup, fries, coleslaw, and a pickle. Nice local diner. We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Chincoteague. Large portions for good prices. The omelettes were average, the pancakes were delicious, and the hashbrowns were yummy! The Easton Diner may not look like much from the outside, but the food is satisfying and fresh. If nothing else, order the French fries. That are FANTASTIC!!! We had the roast chicken special and the eggplant parmigiana. Both came with salad bar and dessert and Both were fantastic. The salad bar was stocked with greens and very fresh vegetables. Went in today for lunch. Got the Marsala and a salad. Salad bar didn't impress me at all, but I wasn't feeling soup. Got the Marsala, took a bite and something was off. Tried another bite to make sure. It was sour and it just tasted bad - like bad chicken. Server was informed and she got an attitude about it, saying that it's not bad, they just made it, it's the wine sauce blah blah blah. Asks me if I wanted something else. My husband I have historically gone to Easton Diner probably once a week since we moved here. The service has gotten progressively worse in the past couple of months and today was the straw that broke the camels back. When we were walking in the front door two men who worked there were standing outside screaming at each other right outside the main entrance, looking like they were about to throw punches. Weird. We should have taken that as a sign to turn around and go to Dunkin Donuts next door. That would have been a far better experience (no shade to Easton DD, they actually have consistently fantastic service). When we were finally sat at a booth, our waitress came over after about 15 minutes and was clearly annoyed that we were in her section. She LITERALLY rolled her eyes every single time we asked for anything, including when we asked to put our initial order in. Actually when We asked to put our initial order in, she waved us off and said (verbatim) "No. I have 4 tables in front of you" and stormed off. We have never seen anything like it. It was almost like an SNL skit. It's unfortunate that it's gone downhill so severely but we will not be returning. read more

Well I am not sure what was wrong at Easton Diner this morning but the service was terrible. It took forever for our waitress to come to take our order then even longer for our food to arrive. Then she brought one of us the wrong food and forgot our toast and hot sauce. Although my cream chipped beef was luke warm it was quite yummy. . The food is ok.... I only go for the scrapple. However the atmosphere is not welcoming at all.... the entire staff is rude and disrespectful. This is one of two diners run by a Turkish family (Cambridge Diner opened in 2008), with personal touches. We enjoyed the selection of foods and the specials. The stuffed flounder and stuffed shrimp combo at $15.99 was very tasty. After visiting the ample salad bar and enjoying the sides of a baked potato & broccoli, I had to pass on dessert (which was included in the price). My wife enjoyed a bountiful dish of lasagna, which was also tasty. She had no room for dessert either. Will definitely keep the diner in mind the next time we are in the area :-0) read more

There is no way that this place should have 3.5 stars. I spent a couple months in jail and haven't had food quite as bad as that until I came here. We were on our way to ocean city, and decided to take a stop. We had a party of four and nobody enjoyed their meal. However I'm only going to review mine. I got the baby back ribs lunch special, figuring it's pretty hard to screw up ribs. Boy was I wrong. These ribs tasted like they were in the fridge for a week just sitting uncovered, then slammed in the microwave real quick and topped with ketchup. When I started to eat these, super fatty disgusting things half of them were warm on the outside and cold as ice in the middle. It literally reminded me of the stuff I had to eat when I was in jail, save yourselves the time and money. The waitress offered to take the ribs off, and when I got the check she charged me for my French fries and Cole slaw and my salad bar, which was almost as bad as the ribs and ended up only saving me 1.84 of what the meal did cost. I should've known when I walked past it and the hard boiled eggs were sitting in a plastic bucket filled with water. Absolutely disgusting. Probably the worst experience I've ever had. read more

The food is good for quick, comfort food. The portions are good and the prices are generally fair. My only issue with this place is they have a asinine policy which does nothing for goodwill, but shakes a few extra bucks out of your pocket. I stopped there on June 14, 2016 and had their ham, turkey, and roast beef hoagie. Like all restaurant menus, their menu described the sandwich. It is made with the three meats mentioned, and they put tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, and one other veggie on the sandwich. I asked my waitress for a few raw onion slices. No problem. The sandwich was quite good. It did, however, come out dry. I asked the waitress for some mayonnaise. Again, no problem. When I got the bill I noticed an up charge of 89 cents for what amounted to a slice of onion. When I paid, I mentioned something to the cashier. She told me the sandwich didn't come with onion, so I had to pay for it. Mmmm, the sandwich didn't come with mayonnaise either, wonder why I wasn't charged for that. It left me wondering if someone didn't like tomatoes or lettuce and asked that it not be put on the sandwich if the guest will get an 89 cent credit. Or if I had ordered spaghetti and asked for some Parmesan cheese to sprinkle on top. The menu didn't say it came with Parmesan cheese. So if you go there, just remember, if you ask for something that isn't specially mentioned on the menu, like a slice of onion, mayonnaise, pickles, be sure to ask your waitress how much it's going to cost you extra. My wife, who wasn't with me this time, reminded me that they did this to us before. The only thing I got from the waitress was a snide remark of how long they have been open. Yeah, sweetheart, and there's just no telling how much more profitable the place might be if you didn't nickle and dime your customers. read more
