I ordered a breakfast burrito and corn dog and the burrito was barely a burrito. It wasn't all the way wrapped and the contents were not put in very well. The corn dog was kinda burnt. Also, I ordered in the app 7 minutes before I got there and then had to wait 10 minutes for my food even though there was only about 7-8 other cars there. I stop at a Sonic somewhere pretty much every day (at least for a drink) and I can say this one is above average. At the least you typically get what you order, unlike the one on 70s in Bellevue where you order a hotdog and coke and just as likely as not to receive a hamburger and tea. Anyway, most of the complaints on here about this location are due to order issues. All this can be resolved if you use the app. The Sonic app is really great and on it drinks are always half price. You order when you want then pick it up whenever you get there with almost no human interaction. Also you won't have to worry about the speakers working because you will have paid through the app,checkin when you get there and they bring it out. Best of all its easy to add or delete items using the app (easy ice, extra pickles, etc.). Its not world class food but for $5 or less you can get a hot, tasty meal very fast, any way you want it or a route 44 drink or any kind fixed with endless combinations for about $1.50 using the app, even less if you want a smaller drink. 1 star off because they are supposed to open at 7:00am but don't always do so, and it's unpredictable when they do or not. read more

Horrible equipment but wonderful service. The ordering system is on its last legs and neither side can hear one another. If it weren't for the professional demeanor of the staff, and the brand standard for food, I would never go there. Instead of an all happy experience the poor condition of the microphones and speakers add a strong element of frustration. So now I simply patronize it less than I would if it had an efficient ordering experience. read more

Great for what it is. The car hops have stepped it up recently and it's always a pleasurable experience at this location!

This location has begun a rapid slide down hill, mainly with the recent managers. Its not unheard of to hear them cussing and yelling at employees and customers, or hanging out with people in the back while everything up front goes to hell. Some nights are better than others but for the most part, if you can skip this location, do so. Use the one at either the Kingston Springs exit or Dickson, and I prefer the dickson one personally. read more

It's fast food. Don't go in thinking it's anything more than any other average fast food joint. The entrees are your standard fast food fair. Where Sonic shines is their large dessert menu. The ice cream is delicious here and provides healthy competition for Dairy Queen. There aren't many choices in Fairview, so this Sonic gets pretty good business. It's well kept and the service is generally decent (mosty teenagers). If it wasn't for the ice cream, I'd give it one star. read more

RIP OFF! I just ordered a hot fudge sundae at a price of twice what I would pay down the road at McDonald's. When it arrived it was smaller than what I would have gotten at McDonald's as well. They put a very small sundae in a huge cup which makes it look even smaller! Waste of money! I will go down the road to McDonald's next time and get a full cup of hot fudge sundae for half the price! McD's also has much friendlier employees! read more

For fast food I love Fairview sonics. Food is always hot and fresh and the staff is always smiling and friendly......love it.

Where do I start? So my first issue was a few days ago Hubby and I pulled in for a late night treat. It was 8:05 on our clocks and we wanted milkshakes, should have been 1/2 price right? Nope...according to Sonic it was 7:59! When they brought out our stuff and we questioned them they said "oh our clocks are a bit off" I asked to speak to a manager. She comes out and had a nasty attitude and says there was absolutely nothing she could do and that we should have waited a few more minutes to push the button. I told her both my car and my phone said 8:05...she insisted that it went by the computers and then she walked away. I guarantee you she had the ability to override and probably does it all the time for her friends. To add insult to injury we drove off and my husband's milkshake was wrong. He ordered Vanilla Bean and they gave him Cheesecake...he does not like Sonics cheesecake flavor because it's so strong and we were at that point headed in the wrong direction to take it back so it was wasted. Few days later we are in Fairview again, stopped with our daughter ordered a small Oreo milkshake, a small coconut cream pie milkshake and my husband got a slush. We got our order and the coconut cream pie one had some strange cookie or candy type things on top of the whipped cream. I asked the carhop about it and she said "oh yah those are these new cookie things we put on top but it is a coconut cream pie shake" then she hands me the oreo shake, the slush, 2 spoons and a straw and walks away. I pushed the button again to ask for 2 straws for the milkshake since typically I drink my shakes with a straw and after 3 minutes of no one answering I said screw it and drove off. Got down the road tried to eat my shake with a spoon and realize these morons put Snickers in my shake. It was half coconut cream pie half Snickers blast. It was disgusting..another waste of money. Last straw was yesterday went by for some drinks thought they could handle a diet cherry coke and a limeade. Nope we Got a diet cherry coke and a diet sprite. 3 times in a week...gotta be a record. The manager is rude. The teenagers don't pay attention to what they're doing. They need a serious overhaul and some retraining. I'll stick with my local Sonic in Franklin from now on. read more
