This review is to Ryan Hansen - Employee of Sonic. To your reply of my original review. I'd like to point out that you flat out lied about being in your truck while smoking. I could literally see you and another employee standing near the truck, as far as the "eat my____" goes, that's a pretty common sense thought of what it said. So please don't lie to the customers.. Second of all, the part of my review was more on the horrible service of this location. That's what matters, so please educate yourself on what's important when a customer is writing a review on your place of employment and where your paycheck comes from. This is not all about your crappy truck and your piss poor judgement on where to smoke your stupid cigarettes. To the general public and Managers: Service does suck here, food tastes like crap, I visited again last night after not coming for a month and it's even worse than before. When you're order is being taken all the teenagers inside are playing their music so loud the order taker can't hear you nor can you hear them. There doesn't appear to be a Manager on duty , if there is he's not a good one . In the morning this store is ran like it should be, by noon into evening it becomes horrible. The worst Sonic I have ever been to, will never return to this establishment. There were two other cars ordering food and it tools 15+ minutes to receive our cold food. The staff is disgusting and unprofessional. A bunch of grimey teenagers who were hanging out by the cars smoking cigarettes and cussing. Had to roll the windows up because I had a child in the car and didn't want her to hear that language and it was stinking of smoke in the car. One of the employees who walked back in with his friends was wearing a hat with a weed leaf on in, doesn't scream family friendly environment to me. read more

This is the second time we have driven all the way from Idaho springs to find out they decided to close an hour early. THIS BLOWS! I understand it isn't fun to be open when it's dead, but don't post open hours if you are not going to be open!! Two times before this, our order was incorrect. This was the worst lunch ever and I can usually choke down some bad grub but these sliders were horrible, not anything like the picture on the screen. they were plain no lettuce or pickles or onions like they claimed and the fries were like they were made yesterday. thank god for the coke to wash it down... read more

Awful experience. They didn't get our order correct at all. First our burger had no toppings, then the fries were stale, forgot our corn dog, didn't put ice in our drinks, and didn't provide any marinara for the mozzarella sticks. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

30 min wait for ice cream. Ordered dark chocolate concrete. It's obviously vanilla. Tried to tell that to the girl and she says no it's dark chocolate only its white. Not going to argue about it but get to the car... definitely vanilla. No cookies mixed in. Just awful. I threw it away. read more

Worst sonic in golden. I want there for lunch at noon. I expected the typical lunch rush wait but nothing like this. I waited 20 minutes for someone to take my order. I had to get back to work so I left. I called and asked for a manager. The employee that answered had a terrible attitude and explained she was the only one there, which I find weird because I noticed about three or four different people in sonic shirts walking in and out of the building. I would strongly recommend staying away from this Sonic. The staff including the older members are very rude and do not care about customer service. They even tell you to go down the street to McDonalds. Years ago it was good but not anymore. Hamburger was basically raw and was told "Well you can see we are busy". read more

I've ordered from Uber eats three times every time I have they have gotten the order wrong I asked for no onions I get onions I asked for ketchup I get no ketchup I ask for mayo I get no mayo it's like the burgers not even mine it's somebody else a special order a burger I called to complain to the manager ask me what was wrong and then he could even understand that he asked me twice what was wrong with it then he got snippy with me wanted me to come down and get a different burger it was golden Cruise I'm not taking 15 min to drive 2 miles Not to be a total ass but they want $15 an hour and get orders wrong read more

Food was disgusting! I have been to this sonic many times and it's never consistent food quality. Figured with all their fancy new devices they would care about quality of food. Boyfriend went later at night got a burger for me came home with it they didn't put any toppings on it besides ketchup when he asked for it and fries were cold and stale and the fry container wasn't even filled to the top it was barely halfway full. Burger had no flavor and the bacon on his burger looked old and burnt. Only thing that's good here is their drinks, can't screw those up I would hope! read more

I love sonic and have been going to them for my entire life. This location is the worst in the USA I have ever came across by far. I lived in golden for 5 years and every time I have came here is is absolutely garbage service. I just waited an HOUR for two drinks. It's honestly sad what this location is doing to the Sonic name. Store is always running slow. Employees are nice enough. I got cold mozzarella sticks. I love their food and their happy hours. I'm not fond of their chili for the hot dogs or fries. I do love their ocean water and hamburgers. I would recommend going there only for the busy days and you need a bite to eat. read more

Worst place ever after getting charged 10$ for food and drink that totaled $ 4.71 and waiting an hour to talk with a Manager because we used a gift card the machine said processed but of course they said we didn't pay. So we give the card to run again and she said there's nothing on it. We bought the card earlier at Walmart and made sure it was loaded. 1 hr later manager came out said I fixed it said they refunded my card so we said fine, very frustrated we left. Finally got through the 1800 number and they say the card is empty. Thanks for stealing my 5 bucks and then lying to us. Ordered a deluxe jr cheeseburger and asked what do I want on it? I said well cheese of course so Tanner replied you want it plain with cheese? ....really? I had to tell him what I wanted on it. Disappointing on several fronts. We ordered the cheeseburger and it must have been cooked several hours ago. The cheese was barely melted. The bun not bad but that is not what we came for. The onion rings were crispy but apparently were cooked in the same fryer as the corn dogs as they tasted SWEET! Not acceptable. The shake was so thick that the straw was useless and I had to scoop it out with the end of straw. Need larger diameter straws like Freddy's if you make the shakes that thick. Several signs around advertising for management positions. I can see why. They need help badly. read more

This is the BEST Sonic in the area. They are prompt and courteous. Every other Sonic around here takes ~20 minutes and/or has a broken Master Blast machine. Even though this one is out of the way, we still come here first. Thank you!!!! read more

This is probably the worst place I've ever dined, waited 50 minutes for 3 things of ice cream and a hamburger watched 3 other cars get food before us and talked 3 times about not having the food, extremely rude staff and messed up our order and got the burger cold. Very disappointed. The women who took our order was very short and argued with us. All we wanted was a chocolate chip shake (which we have gotten there many times) Long wait time and when we got home to drink it, it was a vanilla shake only I do believe she did that on purpose.
