Ordered a smash burger. Service was quick , however the burger was cold. I've never had cold food from a fast food restaurant before. It was terrible. Like they cooked it in the morning and served it later that night in the evening when I got there. The wrapper was hot but the burger was cold such a bad experience. I visited Marysville Sonic Drive-In and paid with a Vanilla Visa gift card. I asked the cashier if she could charge a little extra for a tip, and she told me she was not able to do that, so I paid only for my order. Later, when I checked my gift card balance by calling the 1-800 number on the card, I was informed that an additional $4.84 had been charged after my purchase. I immediately called the store and spoke with the employee, McKenzie. I played the automated message from the card company that stated the date, time, and amount of the last transaction, and she listened to it. I'm disappointed because I was clearly told no extra charge could be added, yet my card was charged more afterward. I'm posting this review so management is aware and can look into this issue and ensure better transparency and accuracy with gift card transactions. This location had fast service and the staff was friendly. The building looked new and the parking lot was clean. The food was great! We didn't wait more than a couple minutes for someone to bring out our order. We ordered a burger without onions and when we got the burger it had onions. They quickly made a new burger and there was no problem. We will definitely be back soon to try more of their menu. read more

The employees were polite and friendly, and when we were missing a sauce they were more than happy to bring us more. My boyfriend and I both got the smash burger combos with popcorn chicken as an extra. Everything tasted good, I would say just give it a shot if you really want to go. Love Sonic shakes and slushes but other than that, it's easy to look over. I miss the deals where shakes were half off after 8 PM or whatever. Now there's zero reason to make the trek so far up north but Sonic is more of a treat if I'm ever coming down from the north side. Half the time I want a cheesecake milkshake and they're out of cheesecake so three milkshake options are gone. Ingredient stock is an issue. First off they had everything but the drive thru closed (but only told you rudely via the speaker system, no signs), then when three different cars in our party ordered, we got various rude replies to so many things they were out of. Food was cold (even though it was "fresh" and not busy), and the oil tasted rancid in everything. Didn't supply napkins or utensils for half the crew. As we ate someone walked up and ordered from the seating area speaker and were served, despite us trying not 15 minutes earlier and being denied. Trash was abundant, and the bathroom was dirty. At this point I don't even know if they're using the stalls because every single time we've gone in the last 2 years, we pull in, push the button, and they tell us they're drive-thru only. They said they were backed up on mobile orders and were pausing the drive thru to catch up. Took my daughter here after her basketball tournament....was in the mood for burgers. Our order should have been very simple.....single cheeseburger with just ketchup for my daughter and a regular double cheeseburger for me. The girl that took my order was really rushing me, said it would be $27 and she was gone before I could reply.
