Honestly, one of the better Sonic locations in the area. While the bar isn't too high, this location on Gallatin has it together for the most part. Nothing says Mother's Day Dinner like eating in your car at Sonic. Don't let the fancy food critics tell you what to like. We always have a great experience. It was moderately busy- Mother's Day and all- but the food came out super fast, fresh, and hot. The burgers were tasty, and they got the special instructions right. The Corn dog was also good. We were going all out so also had the tots. To top it off we had a couple of milk shakes, and let's just say they brought all the boys to the yard. H@ll yeah, they were better than ours. One of the exciting things about moving to Nashville was seriously the fact that i would have a sonic burger nearby! I know, I know that sounds horrible.. But then again, when you come from Ca. the idea of some where that serves half way decent food at a decent price, and serves it in style of a classic drive in is amazing. I know you probably take it for granted as just another fast food chain locally. But its really more than that to me. Compare it to a MC D's or burger king, or any major chain. The service they offer comes across, the food doesn't come out smashed down in a sack that looks like they took turns sitting on it before passing it over. This and In-N-Out burger set them self apart by keeping things simple, cheap and oh so Delicious. The advertising is classic, they use to tease us with the commercials even though there was no sonic with in hundreds of miles of us.... Now i can truly appreciate a cherry limeade anytime i want.... Waited again a few more minutes and asked again why this was happening? Again they said someone would be right out with my food and would help with the screen. Waited another 25 min and nothing. I generally abhor fast food and everything it stands for really...but I can't help myself, I love being bad and getting a sonic blast in the evening and pulling in to a drive-thru to get it. As far as the food...eh.....it's fast food, has that fast food flavor pack taste. If you want/like that sort of thing Sonic will suffice. I don't really have much else to say about Sonic, or this particular location except that morons like to pull in to and out of the driveway going 10 miles per hour on to Gallatin traffic, which is generally much faster! As do tots with cheese. being that chicken are fowl (hahahahaha!) they are still on my personal menu; i miss the days when i ate cow being that their tuesday deal was for half price cheeseburgers. i loved their burgers. the crispy asiago caesar chicken sandwich was good for a regular chicken sandwich but not a lot of asiago or caesar flavor. i'm okay with that, & i busted the honey mustard from the fridge. the cheesecake bites were heaven to my better half. i thought they were good, & he said he would be stopping in for them morning, noon, or night everytime he passed a sonic. they are deep-fried & come with strawberry dipping sauce. seriously, anything deep fried with a good sauce sounds good to me. i've yet to have a bad server either. and in mt juliet, there are even some on rollerskates. how fun is that? read more

Each time I have come to Sonic I get under 3 items and always have a long wait. I am not sure why it always takes forever to make ice cream especially when workers come out to talk to people sitting outside multiple times while I am waiting on my order. Terrible location. I have been a few times and the wait is always ridiculously long. This was the last time I will ever give them business. I pulled up to the store with maybe one car sitting at a stall. Two employees were sitting an the side of the building smoking when I pulled up and looked VERY upset when they looked at my car and realized they would actually have to do work. I hit the call button and waited almost 3mins with no response. I thought maybe the stall I was at was broken because there were no other cars waiting so there should be no wait so I backed up and pulled in the stall next to me. After 2 mins still no answer. Then I watched a car pull up on the other side of the restaurant and heard someone answer the call box. At this point I knew the employees were clearly mad I had interrupted their break and were trying to ignore my order. At this point I pulled to the other side and tried a 3rd stall. Finally the employees realized I was not going to just go away and answered the call box. I asked why I had to try 3 different call boxes before my order was taken and why a car that arrived after me was answered first. I was given no apology and the employee tried to act like they didn't understand my question. When I repeated my question the only response I was given was there was only one person taking orders. Once I finally got my food the bacon on my burger was so burnt that it was not edible and was only one small piece broken in half. I also ordered and was charged extra for adding jalapeños but there were only 3 on my burger. After three previous trips to this location all with crazy long waits this will be the last time I ever give this location business. Unless you have nothing better to do than waist your time I hope no one EVER gives this location business! read more

This Sonic is okay. The first few times I went I had long waits, with not that great of service. But, more recently the service has definitely improved and so have the wait times! Even when I see a lot of cars here, it's not been bad. The system on the kiosks to pay makes it very simple. Plus you can double check and make sure they got your order right. I just visited this location on Thursday night and had an absolutely ridiculous experience! We placed 2 separate orders, no big deal right? The car-hop brought out our food and collected our credit cards so she could process the separate orders inside. While we waited for her to bring our cards back, we had already started consuming the food as anyone would. When she came back with our credit cards she notified us that their credit card machine was broken. The three of us sat in awkward silence for a moment, staring at her blankly, expecting her to elaborate on the situation. Nothing. She stood there in silence. My friend who was in the driver seat of the vehicle then stated "soooo....none of us have cash on hand, what do you want us to do? Give the food back?" The car-hop then demanded that we give back the half-eaten food knowing that she would simply throw it in the garbage!! We were absolutely outraged by this! At no point did the car-hop offer to ask a manager what she should do in this situation, she simply said "give the food back". F'n ridiculous! How is it our fault that their credit card machine was broken? I have already contacted Sonic's customer service department. We'll see how they handle it. read more

I will never waste my time here. Ordered $35.05 worth of food to get home and EVERYTHING was wrong or off. Started out by having an extremely ride order taker keep interrupting me as I was trying to explain special items (no ketchup, no tomato) had to tell her to please stop intetupting... after the little icon told me my food was on its way I waited an additional 5 mins and had to push the button to ask where my food was. Get home my husbands #3 super sonic bacon CHEESEburger has NO cheese... wait it gets better. Shakes were nearly melted and they forgot my child's juice box. (After asking me 3xs what the drink was. Wtf ikr.. so call tge manager tell what happens go and get my refund have a chat with the manager come home... ok whole reason i went was cause im craving the philly cheesesteak they have thats what I ordered, never even checked it til i came back and i be damn if its nit a normal hot dog coney i didnt order at all. I dont evem like hotdogs. So disappointed. At least he fully refunded me but we got stick eating crappy food cause of negligent employees who clearly didn't care to pay any attention from taking the order to preparing the food. This Sonic is terrible, I hope they run out of business. Not only is Sonic a horrible restaurant anyways because the food quality does not match the price, but the employees that work at this location can't comprehend English, which is probably the only language they "can" speak. I made two simple requests and they messed it up completely by only adding onion rings when I clearly stated that I don't want any onion rings, and I asked for buffalo sauce and got two ranch dressings.
