    SuperSONIC Breakfast Burrito
    James Y.

I used to stop at Sonic for breakfast almost every morning back when I lived in Tampa, so when I saw this Oviedo location, I gave in to impulse and pulled in for a nostalgic bite. Right away, I noticed most of the menu boards were missing, which made the place feel a little forgotten. I ordered a breakfast burrito and the essential Ocean Water. The wait stretched close to 20 minutes, but that wasn't surprising since they usually cook everything fresh. Once my order arrived, I went for the Ocean Water first, only to find it was disappointingly flat. Then came the burrito... or at least what I think was supposed to be a burrito. It was tiny. Imagine a regular burrito that went through a shrink ray. That plus how dry it was made the whole thing pretty underwhelming. For the price and the wait, I expected more than a bite-sized wrap and a sad sip of nostalgia.

Drive up or drive thru only. No inside seating but a few outside tables are available. The coney dog is pretty good. But the drinks are the draw for me as the milkshakes are all good and the slushes are fantastic. Sometimes it takes a long time to get your food or drinks. It feels like those old drive ups from the 50's where they would come out in roller skates. Plenty of parking outside. Very vintage.

Food was terrible and the order was wrong. Receipt says no onions or tomatoes. Burger was cold.

Every Sonic in Orlando area has same issues. They take longer than any fast food establishment. I can't believe how terrible they are. I have been to Sonics in other states. They are top notch in Oklahoma. For some reason, all of them in Orlando area just can't make foot in a timely manner. Absolutely terrible! No stars.

This joint got A LOT of bad reviews but our experience was average at worse. We utilized the dine-in parking. The employee taking our order was a bit of a downer, no welcome, no thank you jus mono-tone. The food came out FAST the server was pleasant. We got a bacon cheeseburger meal with cheese sticks and a strawberry limeade. Besides the top to the bun that looked like it suffered a round of ground and pound the food was hot and tastey. No roller skates!?!? All in ive had worse but that bun should not of made it out of the kitchen and our order was taken by a funeral MC. I might return if I was in the area again but for sure would not go out of my way.

It was sinfully good! The service was still good and the atmosphere looked kid friendly with board games available. I also saw a board where customers could write messages, but didn't see a marker available. You can tell the quality is there -- super flavorful, creamy, and not overly artificial tasting. Every bite was rich and satisfying, and honestly I couldn't even wait to take a proper picture before digging in. Second, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They clearly love what they do. They took their time recommending flavors, let us try different samples, and made the whole experience feel fun instead of rushed. That level of friendliness really makes a place memorable. And lastly, I LOVED that they had games available to play. Such a cute and thoughtful touch! It made the visit feel more like a cozy hangout than just a quick dessert stop. Sitting there, playing games, and enjoying good ice cream was such a vibe. Overall, such a sweet little spot with great energy, great service, and delicious ice cream. Definitely a place I'd come back to again and again.

The shop was clean, and surprisingly, it was pretty quiet for a Saturday night. We ordered the Ube Coconut Thai Tea and the Salted Cheese Thai Tea, but they were out of coconut. That wasn't a big deal, but after confirming we wanted one of each, we still received two of the same drink. It seemed to be a simple miscommunication, likely due to a language barrier, so I just asked for the sea salt cold foam on the side instead of having it remade. Unfortunately, the drinks were disappointing. They were watered down with a gritty texture, and the ube flavor was barely noticeable. Neither drink had the rich, creamy Thai tea flavor I was expecting. At about $18 with tip for two drinks, the quality and service didn't feel worth the price. Hopefully this was just an off night.

The seating area is pretty spacious and there's a lot of room to sit and move around, which I appreciated. That said, being in Florida during the summer, it was very hot, and there were quite a few flies around the outdoor seating areas. I'd also note there were a lot of kids in the central courtyard space, which seemed like it's designed as a family-friendly area. Overall though, it's a great spot with lots of variety, and I'd definitely go back to try more food trucks. Next time I'll just come prepared with bug spray (and maybe drink covers) to make the experience even more comfortable. Definitely worth checking out for a casual food truck night.

I'm honestly both happy and sad that I found this place. The customer service was amazing! I did not get the name of the girl the first time I went, but the last time I went, I was helped by Kevin and he was awesome! Both workers helped me with any questions I had. I went with the dark Vietnamese coffee, and it was so good! I might even venture to say one of the best I've ever had... and I've had a lot of Vietnamese coffees from a lot of different places. The shop is clean and decorative. It is very calm and comfortable. I should know because I got caught in a rain storm and lounged on the couch for a minutes sipping my coffee... even though Kevin offered me an umbrella. I did eventually take him up on that, and he even walked me to my car to retrieve the umbrella! I've never had customer service like that from a tea shop! Or anywhere actually lol. My girlfriend loves their Boba and she says is the best she's ever had. She gets it in her Thai tea. The last Vietnamese coffee I had (because I went three days in a row ) was so good that I forgot to even take a picture. I know it was a dark Vietnamese coffee with a salted foam on top...think I may have added hazelnut as well. Oh! So why am I sad? This is the only location in the southeast and I don't even live in Florida let alone Oviedo/Orlando area. So if you get the chance...GO THERE! They have so many other things I didn't even get a chance to try. I can assure you if I'm ever back in town this will be one of my first stops.
