This is my new favorite location for sure ! Located in College park next to Salon lofts and the Good pour , we stopped in for a sweet treat after getting our curls trimmed. There are plenty of inside seating available from tables to bar stools and then a very large covered patio area that faces the street. Service was absolutely amazing as the staff let us try a million flavors and their favorite combos before we placed our order. My princess for the cookie and cream tadpole in the small with extra brownie and cookies and I got my usual vanilla custard with mango Italian ice ( Jelati) We sat inside and enjoyed our treat while speaking to the manager about partnering with her school for PTA fun nights and reserving the outdoor area for her gymnastics friends to come by one day. TL; DR interior seating? Yes, please! The closest Jeremiah's to my house is the one on Aloma Avenue and I've been going to that one since 1998. I'm very familiar with locations that are essentially a drive through and some scattered outdoor seating or just sitting in your car in a parking space. This location was such a pleasant surprise! The staff was so friendly and the fact that you could sit inside was mind blowing (to me)! I ordered The Grasshopper which is like a mint chocolate chip jelati. It was so good! And pretty to look at - though not for too long or it'll melt! :P Jeremiah's is very consistent across the locations I've gone to over the years. This is a new location for Jeremiah Ice for me as there is one much closer to my house. HOWEVER, this is a GREAT location as they have indoor seating and lots of space not only for the customers but also for some amazing art. The service was great here and that is not unusual for a Jeremiah ice at any location. They are always wonderful. There is also outside seating for you to choose from if the inside tables are taken but I love what they have done with the inside space. My supervisor recommended I try this place while in Florida. When I was visiting apartment complexes, one of them gave me treat coupons to enjoy a free small item on the business. A little later into our visit, we stopped by while walking around College Park to see what was available if I rented a place there. It's near The Princeton apartment complex and a Mexican restaurant. The shop was quiet as we happened to be there a little after it opened. The girl working there was very upbeat and helpful explaining their menu and the flavors. (As this was our first time there.) She did allow me to sample some flavors of their ice and I decided to do one where it combined the vanilla soft serve ice cream with the orange Italian ice to create a sort of creamsicle flavored treat. A size small was good as I didn't want a huge portion. My folks tried the soft serve and thought it was good. I thought mine was a fun experience - maybe it was a little sweeter than I like normally, but it was fun. (Kind of reminded me of the orange/vanilla treat at the Magic Kingdom Sunshine location near Enchanted Tiki Room.) For parking, you could try parking by the business or on the street. We didn't have trouble finding street parking around late 11 AM to noon, which was good. Maybe I would come back if I'm in the area. read more

The last few times I've been to the college park store have been less than stellar. I've just brushed it off but tonight was my last straw. As far as tonight goes only one employee was helping the front and another one was filling the machines and cleaning. The blonde employee in the blue shirt was filling something stopped once we got to the second person in our group and said she would help the next guest. Well my other friend was next so he walks over there and she tells him oh no she will finish your group (we all paid separate so did not see the logic in this) she asked for the next guest and that's what he was. Instead she decided to stop to help and give her boyfriend and friend free ice cream. After we were sitting outside and her and another employee asked if we were all ok then totally just walked away from the store down the road. Now as for my last visits once they locked the door that leads out to the parking lot because they mopped the floors before close. This is not only a fire hazard but an inconvenience to walk around the building. The time before that again only one employee was helping the line and the same girl from tonight in the blue shirt said she was going to the back to get ice cream well lo and behold she came back much later with NO ice cream. I'm also a restaurant manager and if I saw any of my employees acting like some of these employees do I'd terminate them. As soon as I approached the register, an employee came from the back greeting my babe and I. We glaced at the menu and knew immediately what we wanted. I wanted coconut and mango until I realized they had Bahama Freeze. Bahama Freeze is a mix of the best flavors. It is lime, strawberry, coconut, and mango, I think.
