    Small Cherry Limeade
    Michelle B.

Stopped by for a fun treat for my girls. We were using their free small slushees rewards earned through the local summer reading program. This was my first time ever going to a sonic so I wasn't too sure what to do or expect. Instead of picking a spot since we were just getting drinks I opted for the drive thru they had. One girl got a grape slushee and the other a vanilla slushee. I opted to go for a small cherry limeade. The girl with the grape loved hers and finished is all up, my other with the vanilla said it was weird and only had about half. All in all it was a nice treat.

Chicken tenders. Not edible. Found a piece of hair black thick circular hair in the Buffalo sauce too

Disgusted. Over fried chicken tenders and stay away from their Buffalo sauce. It's pumped into a clear container. There was a black, circular hair in it. Not clean. Defintely taking chances if you decide to eat in your dark car. Luckily I took mines home and saw how gross it really is.

Fried cookie dough bites á la mode
    Kayla S.

The Fried cookie dough bites with ice cream looks good on the app. They are $3.26 with 3 quarter size fried cookie dough bites. It tastes like they are fried In the same fryer as the food,so it has a mixture of onions mozzarella sticks etc, all those fried foods flavors because the oil is old and used. Also, the ice cream is a mini size when I say mini I mean like maybe 2 tablespoons worth of ice cream. Go to Culver's much better ice cream better variety.

    Overcooked onion rings. Not edible.

I come here a few times a month.Always great service from car hops. Food usually great. Somtimes I ask for lite ice and I get a full cups worth but giving 4 stars cuz I just ordered onion rings and got some that were so over cooked I ended up not eating any of them.

The problem lies with whoever is in charge of customer service and traffic flow at this pull-up location. Most customers are polite and well-mannered, just like the staff. However, a SIGNIFICANT number of their customers choose to cut in line using their 2-lane system. Today, I pulled in and followed the flow of traffic by staying behind the cars in one lane. The other lane was completely empty. There were five of us in the initial line. As often happens, some RUDE and selfish customers pulled up and, despite clearly seeing the intent to observe one lane, decided they had priority over those waiting patiently in the full lane. When I got out of my car and spoke to the young lady taking orders, she made an excuse about not knowing what to do. Seriously, Swig, is this the best customer service you can provide? A loyal customer observing common manners gets pushed back further so these two inconsiderate, rude customers can cut the line and make everyone else wait even longer! Can you come up with a better customer service system than "I don't know what to do?" This happens more often than I can believe. What happened to people being polite in public? Sadly, these cars and SUVs often have kids inside, and this is the example their parents are teaching them--thinking they're more important than everyone else. I've experienced this more times than I'd like to admit. What will you do at this Scottsdale, AZ location to fix this? Fast food places, Starbucks, banks, and others don't have this issue--why do you? And more importantly, what are you going to do, if anything?

Sorta a rehabbed gas station or something? Industrial maybe? No bathrooms that we could find. We went at the request of one of the teenagers in our group. It seemed worth exploring so we gave it a shot. In terms of the products themselves, it was just okay for us. Nothing special. And, weirdly, not much ice which is strange but maybe that's just their deal. I wanted to be blown away but it's soda...I could have managed my own expectations. But a McDonald's Coke *does* knock my socks off so it's possible. All-in-all, the prices were fine. About $3.00 give or take will get you most sizes of their offerings. I'm glad we checked it out but likely would not feel super compelled to return. Heads up: the Waikiki tastes like Captain and Coke so if you're living that sober life and want to avoid a trigger maybe avoid that.

I definitely appreciated their hard work and hope they get plenty of breaks during Arizona's extreme temperatures. We ordered two drinks. The Save Me Jade (Diet Dr Pepper with sugar-free vanilla and sugar-free coconut) was refreshing, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I would gladly order that one again. The grape Sprite was a different story. The soda wasn't very fizzy, and the grape flavor was difficult to taste, making it a bit disappointing compared to the first drink. Even with the mixed results, the friendly service and efficient operation made for a positive first visit, and I'd be willing to come back and try some other drink combinations.
