I have been to Swig before and loved my experience there, and I am sad to say I cannot say the same for this location. Our drinks were good as always, however our service was strange. Unfortunately the girl taking our order seemed very complainy about work and she did not make eye contact or make a personal connection. When we got our drinks and cookie we were happy, unfortunately my cup had a hole in the bottom that I didn't notice right away but made it difficult to drink. Definitely something that can be avoided. I will be back to try some more drinks and hope for a better service experience!

I haven't been to swig in a while, I was a regular at this location when they first opened! I went because I got a promotional text advertising their seasonal menu. They were unfortunately out of the drinks I wanted to try, but I got a chocolate peppermint crinkle cookie from the seasonal menu. It was chilled which surprised me, but it was good! I also got a cherry bomb with Coke Zero instead of Pepsi that was terrific! The service was awesome and very attentive, answering all of my questions, I even got a compliment on my eyes! Love coming here for a nice treat!

I love Swig so much! I wish we had them in NC! The service is quick, the combinations endless, and the joy I get from this little treat is huge. The drinks are delicious. The spaces are welcoming.

I enjoyed my first dirty soda experience thanks to Swig! We had a group of 5 and we went through the drive-thru. Most of us had never previously had a dirty soda, but looked forward to trying the famous Swig, and it did not disappoint! We were met by an employee who took our order via tablet in the drive-thru. They were very kind and warm. The experience probably took around 15 minutes, which is longer than one might expect for a drive-thru, but makes sense given the popularity. The service and ordering were smooth overall. I ordered the Texas Tab. Other members of our group ordered the Cherry Bomb, the Princess Peach, and the Raspberry Dream. All choices were delicious and I highly recommend!

Not really a soda girl but I do like fruity sodas sometimes so I wanted to try it out! I got the shark attack which had sprite, lemonade, blue raspberry, and a shark gummy. I also added strawberry popping boba. I also got salted pretzel bites with cheese and shared with my son! There was not much of a wait, only a couple cars ahead of me. My drink was ready fast and the service was really good. I can see how it would be difficult if it got really busy bc of how it is set up. But it wasn't bad when I was there. The soda was perfect of summer and I loved the shark gummy on top! Pretzel bites were maybe a bit too oily but not bad for the price. Overall my total was $8 which wasn't bad for everything I got. Glad I checked it out, would love to come back and try something else!

My friends and I were in the area and drove by and saw Swig! We were familiar with Swig because of the Not So Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, lol. We were very overwhelmed with the menu. There are just so many different soda combinations but you can narrow it down to if you want something fruity vs. coke, etc. We all went with fruity sodas. Not gonna lie, I did a quick search on reddit to help me decide which ones to get. The worker did recommend one, but the one she recommended - we hated ONLY because we weren't a fan of the coconut cream in the drinks. Give it a try!

Absolutely LOVED swig!!! It was my first time trying it and I got a sprite based drink. I love the customizations! It was so refreshing and love that I could add or subtract whatever. The service was so quick, and loved the casual in and out drive through!! Such a cute spot!!

The word "Swig" has become a trigger word for me. The moment I hear that word or even think about it, my brain goes into full-blown obsession mode. My willpower becomes nonexistent. I love being able to customize my drinks to be sugar free. I need a Daisy Duke or a Strawberry Breeze.

Stopped by Swig on a hot Phoenix afternoon, and it was exactly the refreshing treat I needed! The menu is fun and customizable--tons of soda combinations, flavor add-ins, and sweet treats to choose from. I went with a Dirty Dr. Pepper (Dr. Pepper + coconut + fresh lime). It hit the spot. The vibe is upbeat and clean, and the staff was super friendly and patient while I took forever deciding (there are so many options). Service was quick, even with a steady line of cars in the drive-thru. I wish they offered more sugar-free or low-calorie options. With all the syrup add-ins, it's easy to go overboard on the sweetness. But overall, a fun stop and a great alternative to your usual coffee run. I'll definitely be back to try more drink

This was my first time coming to Swig and we came twice during our trip! The concept of a dirty soda place is so cool and I wish we had one where I live in California! I ordered the Unlucky Ducky and the Bloody Wild. I thought it was a fun touch that the Unlucky Ducky came with a gummy shark. It was my favorite drink of the two! The Bloody Wild was stronger on the mango side but delicious. The price is also very fair! You are able to order via drive thru or up by their window, not inside! There was always a line at their drive-thru but it's very fast.

My drink was good! I liked it! The drive thru line was insane so we decided to order at the counter. Unfortunately, there was no sign explaining that you had to order through the app for pickup so we were standing for a while.

went for the first time in awhile. Paid extra for the frozen mangos, and when i recieved my drink I noticed there were no mangos added. Went back to the window and politely asked the girl if they were added bc I couldn't taste any even with a big straw and she rudely said "No I added them" and then closed the window on me. Just getting down to the bottom of my drink and there are no ma

I've tried three drinks so far - the Texas tab, the riptide, and a custom with diet Dr Pepper, peach, and coconut cream. The Texas tab is my favorite by far. I wasn't a fan of the peach in the custom drink - it overpowered the rest of the flavors.

There is a nice variety of sweet treats, and the service provided by the team inside the truck was stellar. One of our student organizations was hosting The Scookie Bar, and after walking around their event, you could score a ticket for a complimentary Scookie. As we pre-ordered so many as incentives for our students, I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, something wasn't set up properly so we didn't have the cookies themselves, but we did have sundaes. We had six options to decide between. I went with The Standard consisting of vanilla ice cream, chocolate chips, and chocolate sauce, and on a normal day, there would have bene a chocolate chip cookie, too. The other five options included the Chocolate Lover, The Celebration, The Signature, Reese's Lover, and The VNA. While I enjoyed the sundae, I'm sure it would have been even better with the cookie included. The Scookie Bar is "where the scoop met the cookie" and serves freshly baked, warm deep-dish skillet cookies also known as scookies. They have a location at The Churchill in Downtown Phoenix, though I would assume I would more regularly see them when their food truck stops by ASU. Their Churchill location is closed on Monday but open Tuesday through Friday from 5-10 PM and Saturday and Sunday from Noon to 10 PM. If you want to order catering, it includes 2 hours of service and a 100 scookie minimum. They can provide a Build Your Own Menu where guests can choose the cookie, ice cream, and toppings, or they can choose from the Signature Scookie Menu which is what ASU did. They have been operating since 2016 in Phoenix. Now that I realize that I was missing the chocolate chip cookie, I need to try it again with that included! I definitely recommend this sweet treat to others.

I can't speak on the customer service as we never left our table and our waited just walked over and got what we needed. We were pretty stuffed from our massive meal, but we decided on sharing a cup of gelato just to satisfy our sweet tooth. I peeked inside as our table was right at a little walkway from the restaurant to the bakery. Gelato is just one of many things they serve here. They also have all your typical Italian desserts. Cakes like tiramisu, pastries like Italian flag cookies, cookies like Italian wedding cookies, cannolis of different varieties, and of course gelato. What was suggested to us if we wanted gelato was the hazelnut flavor. I was expecting a little cup for the 6 of us just to get a taste, but what he brought over was a massive serving. I don't know how many scoops it was or even how much we even paid, but we all got plenty with some even left behind. Now this gelato was life changing. Probably the best I've had in the states. I know it's gotta be way better in Italy, but I'll take what I can when I can. Think of a Ferrero Rocher but in gelato form. It was delicious and I couldn't get enough of it. It wasn't overly sweet and it had a little crunch with bits of chocolate and hazelnuts. My sweet tooth was extremely satisfied after having dessert here. I have literally been thinking about that gelato since I left Phoenix. Luckily this company has locations in Texas so I will definitely be seeking out this gelato soon.

Have a meal at The Sicilian Butcher and then follow that up with dessert at The Sicilian Baker. There are several locations in town, with this one being in North Phoenix. On my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Thursday. Parking tends to be busy in their complimentary lot, but you'll find a spot. Ambiance (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is connected to The Sicilian Butcher. It's a small bakery, with only a few seats. More of a grab-and-go type of spot or the source of your dessert if you're dining at the restaurant. While small, the decor and ambiance is nice. Service (3/5): A little bit of bad luck, but on my most recent visit, they were having trouble with their refrigeration so no gelato was available. While interacting with the staff, it was an average experience. I will say that the service was much better in the restaurant. Drinks (N/A): I only got dessert, but they do have coffee and a few other beverages available. Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. They have your classic cannoli but also a nice variety of other fillings including pistachio, Reese's, and more. A+ for creativity, though I decided to stick with the classic. Solid. In fact, all of the desserts I've had here over the years have been quite good.

It's smooth, rich without being too heavy, and the flavor actually develops as you eat it instead of just being one-note sweet. You can tell they take this part seriously. Leave it outside the fridge for an hour and watch that cheesecake melt on your tongue crystals (if you have the patience for that) Their rotating monthly flavors keeps things interesting, and you're not just stuck with the same lineup every time. Out of what I tried, the banana pudding one was easily a standout--super nostalgic, creamy, and just done right without being overly sweet. The coconut one was also up there, more subtle but still really clean and flavorful. Love me some coconut! They also have a punch card system--buy 9 slices, get the 10th free--which is a nice touch. It lowkey turns into a mission because once you've tried one flavor, you kinda want to work your way through all of them anyway. Now...the downside. The customer service just isn't great. It's not aggressive or anything, just noticeably lacking. There's not much warmth or engagement--it feels pretty transactional. For a place that clearly puts effort into their product, you'd expect at least a baseline level of hospitality, and it's just not really there. So overall, if you're going to Banhams, go for the cheesecake. The rotating flavors keep it fresh, the quality is legit, and it's definitely worth trying. Just don't expect much from the service side, and you'll enjoy it a lot more.
