We've been coming to this Swig since it opened. The drinks are excellent, and the young girls are sweet and quick. The problem lies with whoever is in charge of customer service and traffic flow at this pull-up location. Most customers are polite and well-mannered, just like the staff. However, a SIGNIFICANT number of their customers choose to cut in line using their 2-lane system. Today, I pulled in and followed the flow of traffic by staying behind the cars in one lane. The other lane was completely empty. There were five of us in the initial line. As often happens, some RUDE and selfish customers pulled up and, despite clearly seeing the intent to observe one lane, decided they had priority over those waiting patiently in the full lane. When I got out of my car and spoke to the young lady taking orders, she made an excuse about not knowing what to do. Seriously, Swig, is this the best customer service you can provide? A loyal customer observing common manners gets pushed back further so these two inconsiderate, rude customers can cut the line and make everyone else wait even longer! Can you come up with a better customer service system than "I don't know what to do?" This happens more often than I can believe. What happened to people being polite in public? Sadly, these cars and SUVs often have kids inside, and this is the example their parents are teaching them--thinking they're more important than everyone else. I've experienced this more times than I'd like to admit. What will you do at this Scottsdale, AZ location to fix this? After reading through the reviews for this location, I noticed that many others have reported similar experiences involving rude, dismissive, and unprofessional employees. My experience was consistent with those repeated complaints, suggesting this is not an isolated incident but an ongoing issue that management has failed to address. I am not interested in receiving a generic or automated response. I encourage the owners to review the surveillance footage from Wednesday, July 8, 2026, between approximately 4:50 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. and hold both management and the employees working during that shift accountable if the footage reflects the conduct described in this review. Accountability requires more than an apology; t requires corrective action. Businesses earn customer loyalty through respectful service, and they lose it when that standard is repeatedly ignored. I have been to Swig before and loved my experience there, and I am sad to say I cannot say the same for this location. Our drinks were good as always, however our service was strange. Unfortunately the girl taking our order seemed very complainy about work and she did not make eye contact or make a personal connection. When we got our drinks and cookie we were happy, unfortunately my cup had a hole in the bottom that I didn't notice right away but made it difficult to drink. I haven't been to swig in a while, I was a regular at this location when they first opened! I went because I got a promotional text advertising their seasonal menu. They were unfortunately out of the drinks I wanted to try, but I got a chocolate peppermint crinkle cookie from the seasonal menu. It was chilled which surprised me, but it was good! I also got a cherry bomb with Coke Zero instead of Pepsi that was terrific! The service was awesome and very attentive, answering all of my questions, I even got a compliment on my eyes! I enjoyed my first dirty soda experience thanks to Swig! We had a group of 5 and we went through the drive-thru. Most of us had never previously had a dirty soda, but looked forward to trying the famous Swig, and it did not disappoint! We were met by an employee who took our order via tablet in the drive-thru. They were very kind and warm. The experience probably took around 15 minutes, which is longer than one might expect for a drive-thru, but makes sense given the popularity. Not really a soda girl but I do like fruity sodas sometimes so I wanted to try it out! I got the shark attack which had sprite, lemonade, blue raspberry, and a shark gummy. I also added strawberry popping boba. I also got salted pretzel bites with cheese and shared with my son! There was not much of a wait, only a couple cars ahead of me. My drink was ready fast and the service was really good. I can see how it would be difficult if it got really busy bc of how it is set up. But it wasn't bad when I was there. Went for the first time to Swig on Tuesday night. It was being run by rude teenage girls- and that's coming from a woman in her 20's. The girl taking orders in the drive thru stood before the menu so I told her I needed a minute to look at it and she just stared at me. I started asking if they have root beer and she cut me off before I could finish talking to say yes. Bad attitude through the whole ordering process then when I got to the window another teenage girl basically threw my drink at me and said "here" then shut the window. This was my first time coming to Swig and we came twice during our trip! The concept of a dirty soda place is so cool and I wish we had one where I live in California! I ordered the Unlucky Ducky and the Bloody Wild. I thought it was a fun touch that the Unlucky Ducky came with a gummy shark. It was my favorite drink of the two! We discovered this place on a trip through Arizona and it sparked a love for dirty sodas that I don't think i'll ever get over. It's a small place so most people seem to use the drive thru but they're pretty fast. The people taking orders are always kind and helpful too. One of the ingredients in the drink we ordered was out of stock so the girl at the window made a couple suggestions for a replacement, which was nice. My current favorite is The Ring King (Dr. Pepper, cupcake syrup, strawberry puree, vanilla cream), it's like dessert and all the flavors work so well together. I also tried the Dew Gooder (Mountain Dew, pineapple syrup, fresh lime, raspberry puree, coconut cream) which was good if you're in the mood for something fruity and more refreshing. They have a good amount of different drinks if dirty sodas aren't your thing and there's also the option to build one to your own liking. They also have a points system to earn rewards. Swig is a chain that's popular in Utah - they offer various "dirty sodas" - sodas that are are combined with cream or flavored syrups/juices. Think Starbucks but for soda options. I think the sodas themselves are excellent - if you like different flavors of soda, this place is perfect for you. This particular location is drive through only - there's no indoor seating area. The actual drive through menu doesn't contain all of the options they actually have (or show you the custom menu) so I'm docking a star for that. If you're going to a Swig for the first time, I recommend looking up the menu online and using that menu because it has a whole lot more options (including seasonal varieties!) than the actual menu at the drive through option. read more

I've been to Swig sooo many times but the last few times have just been meh. I don't mind so much the layout of the drive thru, didn't wait super long on a Saturday afternoon, but my bone to pick is with the pricing a little lol. I'll admit it's really not expensive at all. We got 2 24oz and 2 16oz for $15 but on the menu it said each drink would be less than $2.55. We were super confused but it turns out each syrup and cream/coconut cream is an additional cost. It's no issue it just isn't advertised on the menu board. Service was good and we got our drinks pretty fast. We also got a Guava Have It and it's supposed to have coconut cream-which now to our understanding we paid extra for, but didn't receive. They also handed us the wrong drink at first. I meant to write this review a long time ago when Biz became the new Manager at Swig at Tatum and Shea. It's unlike me to buy a tumbler, a Stanley, Yeti, let alone a Swig 32oz (pink for Breast Cancer Awareness) tumbler because, I have a hydro and, that's been suffice for the last 5 plus years. Anyway, I buy the $25 dollar tumbler and the same day handle falls off. I take back in the box and the Manager when the Swig first opened was never available and, the employees did not know how to make an exchange. Months later- I have the "new in the box broken tumbler" in my car so that maybe someday, it can be exchanged. The first and only time that I heard the Manager would call back, did I actually get a call back from Biz- the week she started! Biz acts with a sence or urgency, follows up and sets herself apart from most because, she doesn't just solve a problem, she makes a friend fast.
