I'm trying to be more transparent with this review because this location is literally ran by children. It's definitely the slowest Sonics I've ever been to but my slushee and pretzel are usually always right. I came here a few days ago to pick up a mobile order, I waited almost 30 minutes after I checked in and put my stall number in. My drink and pretzel had to be remade and this was the first time that my drink was bad at Sonics. This is the only Sonics near me and I love slushees nobody makes them like Sonics so I'm forced to come to this location. I hope they get some adults in here ASAP!! read more

When my lovely girlfriend and I decided to go to Sonic Drive-In, we expected burgers, fries, and shakes, but we never expected to have the most romantic evening of our lives. When we arrived at stall number 8, we pressed the red button. And then we talked about our life together, and how we met, and the time she spilled capers and mustard on my brand new tie, and our future together, and what we would name our children. And then we realized that 18 minutes had passed without anyone taking our order. I went inside to seek assistance. And that is where I encountered the most charming, professional, and devoted young man I have ever met. He wore a smart black hat, which cast a shadow over his gentle brown eyes and freshly ironed red shirt. I approached the youngster and said, "I am just waiting in the stall, and I was wondering --" "We are not taking stall orders," he interjected, earnestly, as he muted his headset with delicate fingers. "How can I order?" I asked. "Go to the drive through," he said, gracefully gesturing towards the speaker and menu sign. "Absolutely, I replied. "And thank you sir." We then proceeded to the drive through speaker, excited for the second chapter of an already unusually dignified fast food experience. When we arrived at the drive-through intercom, we paused for a moment, and listened to our hearts beat expectantly, echoing in the silence of our red Dodge Charger. After a fleeting 10 minutes that felt like a lifetime of magnificent waiting, a poised young woman bursted through the front door of the Sonic Drive-In, and said "can you pull up to the window?" "Absolutely," we responded, in awe of an evening we never could have imagined only half an hour earlier. We waited at the window, and after only several minutes, the young man who had so graciously welcomed me to Sonic Drive-In reappeared, this time to ask, "what would you like?" "We would like cheesy fries, mozzarella sticks, and a cheeseburger," we replied. After a sigh, he explained, with a sadness too deep for his years, that the truck that was supposed to deliver mozzarella sticks had not arrived, and reassured us that it would arrive the next day. We nodded, told him we understood, and requested cheesy tots in their place. After 10 more minutes sitting in silence, in love, in our red Dodge Charger at the Sonic Drive-In drive-through pickup window, we rolled away into the night, headlights glowing behind us, competing with the stars. I think this store in particular needs some work. On some days they can get your order right, most likely at night time when they put everything away early. But on a Tuesday afternoon you can't even get a cheeseburger cooked correctly. I needed a refund for my order because all my food was stale ,too bad when I went to refund they took my food and almost threw away my receipt. Then telling me it can't be possible because I tested my food. Hoping a manager will refund once I call in but this experience today was trash. Be careful! read more

I wish I could give ZERO stars. I go to this Sonic at least twice a week and always get a variation of the same thing. A sugar-free drink and two side orders of bacon. (I'm on a Keto diet.) My last trip I received one warm cooked side order of bacon and one that was basically raw. I realized while in the parking lot and got back in the line. I told them I needed a new single order of bacon and why-BECAUSE IT WAS STILL RAW! I get to the window and they refuse to give me a new order. They refuse to cook the raw one they gave me, (I understand that is against food handling laws). They tell me I have to get back in line, order a single order, then pay for it at the window. When I stated, again, that they served me raw food, they shut the window. I left the property but called in to their voice mail and made a call to Customer Relations. I requested a call-back or an email-but three days later- NOTHING! I just did a quick estimate on the money I have spent at that one Sonic over the past two years; bare minimum of $1000. All this bad attitude on their part over a $1.10 order. I never eat their sandwiches, but it's gross the number of people that have probably been served raw bacon on their burgers, etc. At first I was just going to never go to this Sonic again, but since Sonic Corporate has also dropped the ball about responding to RAW FOOD being served, it's safe to say, after DECADES of going to Sonic, (I'm from Texas), I will never, ever go there again. I'm not one to give bad reviews, but this Sonic is pretty sad. I typically love love love Sonic for their fun drinks, hot dogs, and tater tots- things that you don't typically find at your average fast-food restaurants. While I still enjoy these foods on occasion, the service at this location is usually super slow and the food tastes/looks old or over fried. I recently splurged and ordered a footlong chili cheese coney with tots from this location. The actual hot dog was SO salty, I could barely eat it. The tots were ok, but they were so deeply fries that they were really hard on the outside. My boyfriend had a corndog, and it was the same way- hard and overcooked. The service was also slow and they got the price mixed up a few times. The saving grace here is the drinks. I love the variety of combinations you can get! From milkshakes to slushies to their delicious cherry limeades, there is seriously something for everyone! I'll probably go back to get my tot fix, but I might have to try a different location from now on! read more

Like other reviewer's have mentioned, the service here is incredibly slow. It almost feels like it's being run by a bunch of 16-year-olds with no adult supervision. The patio is full of rusted out and beat up furniture and the entire place looks like it's on the verge of going out of business at all times. Everytime i think someone working here has started to give a damn about their job i am subsequently reminded that this establishment is obviously attempting to be the sonic we know and love during the day and at night, the drive through Dicks Last Resort. The service is non existent. Youve got people with no uniform on and i can only believe they dont work there, in the kitchen talking up a storm all while the drive thru line looks like we are all reenacting the 1973 Oil Crisis! The food is down hill as well.. Pattys cooked on one side, cold tots.. In Texas they fire the entire restaurant staff and have a press conference if someone gets a cold tot. We mostly go here for their yummy Master Blasts which are amazing! If I order food, its a simple Sonic burger which is also very yummy. First I tried the carhop location. No answer to the order button for 5 minutes. Then I decided to try the drive through. I had three cars in front of me. It took a half hour to get my order. They tried to give me the wrong order first. the onions rings tasted "off" possibly old oil? the burger was ok. Will not ever be back. I wanted to give this zero stars but there isn't an option. I ordered on the Sonic app which is super simple to use and understand. My family sat down at the tables and I put in which stall I was sitting at. It said after a couple of minutes it that it was in the kitchen cooking. There was a group of people that came to sit at the tables and ordered their food which is totally fine. BUT after 20 minutes we began seeing them get their food before us. We had a whole ordeal of talking to the idiot that was in charge of our foods and we finally just asked for a refund because we were in a rush. Eventually the manager came out and we talked to her about getting a refund and she said we had to call a number and we were like oh geez. She then said, "We have your food ready for you do you still want it?" We were like, "YES GOOD LORD." And the manager got the idiot to bring us our food and all she gave us was the food and we were like where's the drinks. She said, "Oh you had drinks." After us telling her that we had six drinks she ran back and brought them out. Other than that, the food was good but my sister's milkshake was supposed to be strawberry banana but it didn't have any banana. After waiting 10 minutes in line for someone to answer the guy in front of you in the drive through, you'd expect some kind greeting, at least apologizing for your wait. Rather than a simple "We're sorry about you wait," the worker said, "Give me a minute." I waited another five minutes when I finally got a "What can I get started for you?" I ask a simple "Do you guys have-," but wait... I never got to finish. I was interrupted four times by laughter while being told to wait and never did get to finish my question. After accepting the fact that they didn't care about my inquiry, I decided to order something I just knew they had to have. It wasn't until after three more interruptions that I finally got to order. I pull up as I hear a mumble from the speaker. I continue to pull up, as I had already waited a total of fifteen minutes at the speaker and decided that if it was that important, that they would tell me at the window. As I'm going up there, a lady comes out saying in an extremely monotone and uninterested voice, "We don't have chocolate." Flabbergasted by my treatment there, I drove off from infuriation. It takes a lot to get me apmt up, but being a teenager myself, I get repeatedly treated bad by food workers like waiters and fast food workers. I know that teens have a bad wrap with being bad tippers or annoying the other customer, but anytime my friends and I decide to eat out, we are quieter than most adults around us. I have been to this Sonic multiple times and they just can never get it right. I have now spent another thirty minutes of my life that I cannot get back and I don't even have my milkshake. My husband, daughter and I walked over to Sonic yesterday evening for ice cream. I ordered a small Oreo blast, my husband ordered a small Butterfinger blast and my daughter ordered a small orange slushy. The wait was a bit long, but we didn't mind because it was such a nice evening. When the waitress came out she brought my husband's blast and my daughters slushy, but not my ice cream. I told her this and she went back inside and came out a few minutes later with my order. It was then that I noticed that mine was the small that I ordered, but my husband's was a mini. I checked the receipt and, sure enough, we were charged for a small. We told the waitress that we had ordered a small, not a mini, and showed her the receipt. My husband asked her if it would be easier for her to make him a new one or to just bring back the difference in cash. She grumbled that she would bring him the cash and left without an apology. She came back a few minutes later and told him that she needed to take his order back to show her manager that it was a mini. She took his ice cream, after he had eaten only a few bites, went back inside and never came back out. I finished my ice cream, my daughter finished her slushy and we waited and waited and she never reappeared with either a new blast or our money. My husband eventually had to get up and walk inside the establishment to get a manager, who escorted him back outside and asked what the problem was. My husband told him what happened and he said he wanted his money back and the manager just shrugged his shoulders, turned around and went back inside and a few minutes later came out and shoved the money in my husband's hand and turned around and left, with no apology or any care in the world. My husband shouted "thank you" after him and he didn't even turn around. I understand that you can't expect much in the way of service at an establishment that pays minimum-wage. However, what I do expect at any place of business is to receive the exact product I paid for. I also understand that people make mistakes, so I don't judge establishments based on a mistake or two. I do judge based on how they handle those mistakes. I was absolutely appalled by the service at this restaurant, and particularly the attitude of the manager. read more
