This is one of the worst Sonics I have ever been to. The food is ok, the service is horrible. They have some of the rudest, and laziest people working there. I have been twice and both times they mess up the order. They never give me the correct items! I have called and went back but they are so rude and don't believe they messed up the order and always seem to want to argue and start drama. I will never go back here again. One star only becuse I have to. The Manage on duty, Hunter, I believe he said his name was, is a complete inept individual who finds his mistakes amusing. With a business such s this, with all these reviews and have 2 stars, I would have to say that Corporate, if a Corporate Store should investigate why this store is struggling with customer satisfaction. I would say it is partly because of Employees such as Hunter, who install the cap of a large shake invorrecly, than walk away from the drive thru window with a smug grin, knowing what they have done. Also, I had a suspision I was being overcharged. I askes for my order to be repeated, and with attitude, it was repeated, than thw drive thru window was slammed closed. I guess this guy thinks hes above mistakes. Well, he DID overcharge me. I asked for a complete refund and took my business elsewhere. I would definately urge Corp to evaluate the way this location, to see how staff are operating it. Are they doing what policies state? Are they following the processes that have been put in place? I am going to venture to say they are not from my experience tonight. I hope that someone from the upper management reaches out to me to further discuss. read more

I really like sonic but this experience was the worst. I got a chicken burger to take when we unwrapped it it was so burnt you could not even tell it was chicken. It tastes really bad. Next time If there is a next time I will make sure to check all my food before I leave. The Tatar tots were the only reason they got 1 star they were ok kind of cold but ok. read more

The food is ok - tater tots not cooked long enough; ordered a burger without mayo but got mayo anyway. The service is kinda slow, but oddly enough the guy on the microphone acts like you're bothering him. He can't take your order fast enough. This drive through always takes over 30-40 minutes to get food. The service is absolutely TERRIBLE and they're incredibly rude!!!

When I visiting the fam in Tulare, I always have to go to Sonic's at least once. It's fantastic and the Happy Hour is friggin rad with half priced drinks. I get a chocolate coke and I've been to fake fancy "diners" in Palo Alto and their chocolate cokes doesn't match up in the awesome flavor and ratio of chocolate sauce to coke. I also like banana cream pie milkshake . Whoo-hoo. The service is super fast and the burger are good too. But be careful of crack heads riding their bikes late at night though, they can appear out of nowhere when you're driving toward Tulare Avenue. hhehehe read more

The food was just like any Sonic and it was delicious. I only knock it down a star because the waiters did not serve us on skates like I had been used to. We also ordered a shake/ice cream mix and had to ask for an additional spoon. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely go again! Staff was kind and it was delicious! read more

I stopped here for a drive-thru lunch recently, on the way to visit my parents for Christmas. I ordered a grilled cheese and medium order of fries, and it was soooooooo not worth it. I was charged $4.21. A grilled cheese is $1.50, so I paid $2.71 for a medium order of fries? I also didn't get an itemized receipt. I got a credit card receipt, with the price, but no receipt with the list of items I ordered. I opened up my bag when I hit the road, and the fry box was only half full of fries. So essentially, I paid the price for a medium order of fries and got a kids' size! The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great, either. I've had great grilled cheeses and fries before at other Sonics, but not here. The sandwich was fine, but the fries were overcooked and not salted, nor was I offered or given salt. This visit to Sonic was very much a disappointment, and I was still hungry after eating my lunch! The only redeeming quality about this visit was the cashier at the drive-thru. She was friendly and struck up conversation with me. She was the friendliest cashier/drive-thru attendant I've encountered in a long time. Nevertheless, being served mediocre food, along with getting overcharged for a smaller amount than I ordered, I won't be visiting this Sonic ever again. read more

I had never been to Sonic, so when we planned a road trip, we looked up a Sonic along our route. We pulled up to a stall, placed our order and waited, and waited and waited...after half an hour i pushed order button to ask about our order. I was told it was coming right out. We waited another 5 minutes and finally drove off. While we waited, we watched about 15 cars come and go thru the drive thru and a bunch of teenagers in front of the restaurant receive their food, which only served to make me more upset. First time here, and last Time. Hardly any of the self order machines worked. Patio area was trashed like no one has cleaned it all day long. Chocolate banana milk shake. It seems easy enough, and one would assume that waiting for ten minutes at a drive thru window would be ample time to conquer this mixture of heaven. But this concoction of confection was an elusive potion that was incomprehensible to a group of overly sarcastic teens. Teens who seemed to be two milkshakes away from ending their misery with the blizzard machine. The milkshake had a slight hint chocolate that was only identifiable by the off white color of the mix, which wouldn't have been an issue because vanilla would have been my second choice. But the ice cream carried no flavor, not hint of banana, no hint of vanilla, just a nice cold mix of whatever they put in those machines. But the nail in the coffin for me was the frozen half of a banana sitting like a stone at the bottom of this milkshake. My fiancé ordered a Oreo blizzard that carried the same signature of sugary disappointment that plagued my milkshake. Next to no Oreo's mixed in, but a misleading handful sprinkled on top. I'm not the type to complain and my general fall back position is normally to just deal with the inconvenience and hope better for next time. But the length of time sitting at the drive thru, the sarcastic attitude, and the fact the all three orders (a friend also ordered food that suffered from the same fate ) were wrong was something worth writing about. read more

I will never return to Sonic in Tulare with my business. Not only did we receive horrible customer service from the moment she asked to take our order, the girl also claimed to be the manager, refused to give me her name or the name of her supervisor or any kind of contact information. She rudely informed me she was not obligated to wear a name tag, give me a business card, or talk to anyone else working with her. I had to ask for my receipt just to get the 1-800 number located on it. If you're going to be in any kind of profession dealing with the public, you at least need to be courteous and have customer service skills. Your employees are the face of the company. Everyone has a bad day, but this experience with her was beyond that. She was very rude and could care less that we questioned her on it. If she is the manager, she needs to hold herself accountable and take a class on professionalism. Completely unsatisfied customer. read more

the food here is good like every sonic I have ate at but the parking lot is ridiculous, if the drive thru gets 3 or more cars and your parked on the side you will be trapped there until the line moves, the Sonic in fresno has a huge parking area so this will never happen I thought all sonics were built the same I guess not, I recommend going through the drive thru rather than eating in your car here because you might get trapped waiting on the line to move read more

I had a horrible visit at this sonic today, I went during happy hour around 2:30 pm, and I ordered about 8 or 9 drinks, some where sonic blasts and some were slushies. First of all, they're drive thru speaker must suck because the lady on the speaker kept saying "sorry what was that?" And then she repeats our order with everything correct but then when we get up to the window and get our drinks, they mess up our order, they gave us our Oreo sonic blast in a mini and we asked them for a small(they also charged us for a small), and then they didn't give us our mini M n M sonic blast, so we had to ask them about it and the lady said she didn't charge us for that, but we specifically asked for it and she even repeated it to us! And so she charges us for it after, and then charges us for the WRONG SIZE AND WRONG DRINK! Instead of getting our Mini M n M sonic blast, they give us a medium Oreo sonic blast, by this time we were so frustrated that we just said forget it, and we took the medium one. We told them they had did it wrong again but they looked so confused and did not apologize at all, and so after we leave I call the store hoping to talk with a manager, only to find out that when they answered I heard nothing on the phone. It's like they picked up and then hung right back up or they're phone was broken. And the wait time was beyond insane! I would advise people not to come to this sonic! It's not worth the hassle!
