My burger had no ketchup on it, excessive mayo and NO lettuce at all except for the end part you cut off and throw away! The burgers looked like they were thrown together sloppily. We just went to the location and wanted to use the AP to order half price drinks. The AP said it was having technical difficulties, which was the same problem we had the last time we went to that location. We went to another location and had no issues. Since this seemed to be an issue with just this location, we told a staff member, and she told us they had no control over the AP, knew about the technical issues, and if we wanted it fixed, we would have to call. Visited this Sonic this morning as I have several times in the past. I've noticed the run-down condition. Dirty windows, outside eating area tables dirty along with eating area. The grounds around the building are dirty, and bushes are overgrown. Parts of awnings are missing or broken. This morning, I ordered two foot long All American dogs, large and small fries. I was the only car in line, and I waited 10 minutes for my order. The dogs were in their plastic wrapping upside-down and then placed in the paper bag. The large fry container was half full. The small fry container had 20 fries in it, both were cold. It appears there is only one person running the business at 8:30 am. This seems to be an ongoing problem with this particular restaurant. I would be reluctant to give it 1 STAR! read more

This review is for the Sonic Drive-in located at 3749 Caldwell Ave., in Visalia, California. When the Sonic worker (the name on the receipt lists "Tiffany" as the Carhop but I don't know if this is the person who brought me my order) brought out a portion of my order, she immediately started "getting on to me" about parking in the wrong stall. I honestly had NO idea I had parked incorrectly and felt like I was being slapped in the face. She was so incredibly rude, and I was really shocked to be spoken to this way. I apologized for parking in the wrong stall and told her "I STILL don't know what I've done wrong... please explain to me" ... which she did in a loud and condescending manner. She left to get my drinks and when she came back, I kindly told her that she didn't need to worry about me parking in the wrong stall again because I wouldn't be back, and I would be letting her managers know how rude she'd been. She broke me off in the middle of my sentence and said, "I'm the manager" and walked away. I thought "You're the manager!!??!! Who are customers supposed to go to if they have a problem?" This woman has been rude to me on other occasions in the past and I have always defended her to my friends and family, explaining that it's probably difficult to work in the fast-food industry and we don't know what is going on in other people's lives...but this time she went too far. She wasn't remotely apologetic for her behavior, and I feel like she will continue to make customers feel uncomfortable and just "bad" until someone in a position above her takes steps to stop her. Instead of dumping cookie dough in my blast, they mixed it! My wife and I were there today to try the new cheese steak coney, for the price the coney was dry to say the least. I came to this sonic tonight @7pm and I ordered two shakes . When I pulled up to the front my total was $11 & some change . I gave the guy $10 in cash & told him to put the rest on my card . He said that they can't do that bc they haven't figured a way to split it so I told him just to cancel one of the shakes . The mozzarella sticks and slushees are always a go to , but if you want something for your sweet tooth the shakes and especially sonic blasts are FILLED with toppings. I ordered l a cookie dough blast at the drive in and the worker who brought us our stuff was super sweet and hooked it up with the toppings lol. I've always disliked Sonic food for as long as i can remember, but after my last visit i changed my mind somewhat. We actually had our hearts set on Rod's dogs for hot dogs and poutine, but they were closed so we decided to try the hot dogs at Sonic. I got the chicago dog combo with tots and my hubby got the footlong chili cheese dog combo. My hot dog was presented nicely and i was impressed by the traditional poppyseed bun, tomato, pickle spear, and sport peppers, however it was overdressed with relish to the point that you couldn't taste anything besides that. Very messy as well. The tots were fresh and hot and weren't greasy at all. My husband loved his dog but he's easy to please.The ordering system where we sat on the patio is very convenient and the workers are pleasant and helpful. if i could i'd give them a 0/5, so unprofessional, came in tonight (fri 6/21) and i had a mobile order ready for 10:33 and got my order at 11:04, checked in when i got here with the girl by pressing the button not once but TWICE through the speaker and the girl working the shift was rude when she told us at 10:30 the order would be out when it was ready. 30 minutes of waiting I asked she gave me attitude when i asked about the update on the order and she told us we had to check in on the app when that wasn't even an option to do so. the instructions on the app were to go to the stall press the red button and tell the employee out name for the order. Meanwhile while we were waiting for our 4 milkshakes the drive through was moving and two cars pulled up at the stall and got their food that they ordered after us in the span of 5 minutes. We went to carhop #5 at about 9 pm. The person who took our order was less than friendly. We asked for a medium butterfinger blast with extra butterfinger and ordered a Reese's one the same way. The person who took our order tried to charge us for a mini after asking for clarification on mini or medium. After medium was said for the 3rd time, our order was corrected on the screen. Salvador delivered our blasts, you could tell he was overwhelmed and running from car to car like crazy. He handed us our blasts, the butterfinger looked like vanilla ice cream with some butterfinger on top. The Reese's one was about 2/3 full. There wasn't a long line at all in the drive thru. This was the worst experience at this sonic that we've had. Won't be back for a while. read more
