So far every time I have been here, I have received great service. It doesn't matter if it's an early morning pass through or a late night snack, the drive-through staff stay professional and focused. I love how it feels when you go here because depending on the time of day, you will be met with all types of people. The food is great! My family and I usually get sides and drinks and we are always happy with it. My particular favorite is the cherry limeaid. I love that they are a fast food joint, but also someplace that you can hang out and catch a glimpse of how it may have looked like in the 50s and 60s. I also really appreciate the selection of drinks and sides because we don't get that anywhere else. They're slushy and drinks are some of the best out there. This place always comes in clutch when my family and I are craving something cold and refreshing. Sure, you can get that from a corner store soda, but why not try something different like a slushy with nerds in it. Coming to this place and will continue to come here. read more

So stopped in YC for a babyshower and decided to get a strawberry slush. We went through the drive thru and was assisted by the most beautiful soul I've ever encountered in a fast food restaurant. Destiny pretty much sang to us. She was such a delight. Very welcoming and sounded like someone who genuinely loves making others feel great. She could turn anyone's day around. The Sonic chain is dead to me because they took away malts (how hard is it to keep a can of Carnation malted milk powder on hand???) but I needed something and sonic was the only quick accessible place around. Last I heard they use real ice cream in their shakes. So I got a chocolate shake (that would have been a chocolate malt if they did things right). A medium shake with tip was $8.50. I tried to I drink it through the straw but it was too thick. When I got to a place where I could pop the lid and use the spoon they provided, it became abundantly clear this was in fact soft serve, not ice cream. It was ok for what it was. The attendant that brought it out was nice but a quick google check has confirmed they use soft serve now. I would have gotten onion rings too but my last onion ring purchase was a huge rip off and didn't want to chance that again TL;DR Sonic is still dead to me. read more

YC Sonic appears to be suffering from employee apathy. We used the drive through and ordered 4 hot dogs (no 8) with no onions or ketsup. 1. The girl on speaker spoke so fast you could hardly understand her. 2 She seems not to know what no. 8 on menu is and kept saying is that a coney island foot long. Went back and forth on that. Finally, we got our order and when we got home all the hot dogs had ketsup and onion's on them. Ketsup also made them soggy and were cold. Fries ordered were good. On 8/26/ 2023 I ordered food and dessert for my family. There was every annoying issue with the food possible which is OK it's fast food. What do you expect but when I called the store to speak to a manager, a young lady answered stating she was the assistant manager. She wouldn't let me get through a sentence basically told me she could do nothing about it didn't care left, and actually said to cuss words. I get it she doesn't like her job but that's really not my issue. One of the cuss words was a slur that I took great offense to. Sonic really used to be an American pastime. Went there last friday and ordered the promo the jr drouble stacker and a chery limeaid with extra cherries. What i got looked nothing like the picture the bum was burnt the burger had no cheese sauce and the patty was out of this world d not in a good way. I was charged extra for cherries that i didnt recieve...i didnt even get one. Oh and lets not forget that they fly these people out to other stores for training. The place was really busy and there was a huge line for the drive thru, I found a spot in the shade under the awning and pushed the famous red button... ordered a double with bacon, fries and a sweet tea.... it wasn't 5 minutes and my order came out nice n hot, with all these people here it really surprised me that the order came out so quick! Decent place to stop and get a quick burger. Great place to stop and get a yummy slushy, cream slushy, or ice cream shake on a hot day!!! And of course there are a ton of flavors to choose from. This place is a classic old-school drive-in. You can park in the car port order from the sign at your window and have a gal on rollerskates bring your food out to your car. Or you can drive-thru like todays modern pull-up order, move ahead, and go fast food drive-thru. Or you can park your car get out, order at any of the window order stations in the covered cement picnic area and have a rollerskater bring you your food and drinks. The cheesburger i ordered was decent. No complaints. Fast food was what i was looking for on my drive to Chico, and Sonic was my stop. 1st time trying it. I love that you can order tots instead of fries, cuz i like tots too! The chicken sammich my companion ordered looked pretty good. It came out on some sammich bread instead of a bun. The drinks were just what we were looking for on that 90 degree day. We ordered up large Watermelon and Grape Slushes and they hit the spot. We realized later that we could have gotten Cream Slushes, so next time, if im ever near a Sonic again, i will be trying that. Overall the service was good, the food was decent, its fast-food what more could you ask for, and I had no complaints. read more

We love Sonic! We always go to get ice and something to eat. Apparently tho, we aren't the only ones to have our order screwed up!!! We always go on Saturday and whoever the young gentleman is who takes the orders screws it all up!!! He either can not multi tasking or he doesn't listen!! And when you try to make a correction he gets even more confused ‍ I mean how hard is 2 number 1's with bacon, 2 tater tots, 2 sweet teas, medium mozzarella sticks and 2 bags of ice????
