When we walked in no one was at the hostess desk. We waited for a bit hoping someone would notice us or make eye contact. Jimmy D took us to our table and waited on us. We ordered the Pork Egg rolls my husband and I both ordered the Smoked Turkey plates. The turkey was very tender and the green beans were good. Jimmy was great! He check back with us if we need anything. I would return if I was back in this town.

We went to Sonny's for the first time in years. It has gone way down. The menu and quality has definitely not improved. They did away with the salad bar years ago. But, the brisket was basically inedible. Maybe they were having a bad day. The waitress was sweet enough as a person but, we almost had to explain that we would like refills. There were 4 of us. We had a burger, ribs, pulled chicken and brisket. The best thing was the pre-made corn nuggets . We probably will not be going back. It's sad to see how far it's gone down. We used to go all the time.

It's crazy that this place Only has three stars!!! Stopped in for lunch after a meeting, it was incredible. My coworker recommend the pulled pork, but our waitress said she liked the brisket. So I did a two meat combo with pulled pork and brisket... Both were amazing. The brisket was phenomenal, perfect smoke, excellent bark, moist, and full of flavor. My coworker recommended doing the pulled pork as a sandwich between two pieces of garlic bread... It was incredible. You can order the sandwich this way if you want. He also ordered the corn nuggets, they were addictive... I could've eaten a KFC bucket full of them. The restaurant was clean, the staff was extremely helpful. It was a five star experience.

Cherry cobbler egg rolls are amazing! I got the buffalo smoked wings and the smokey flavor is good but the buffalo is hot hot. My usual is the loaded tots with pulled pork. Staff is friendly and service is fast. I love the decor inside also

We were visiting in the area today and picked up lunch take-out from Sonny's in Brandon. Window service was friendly, but extremely slow. However, pulled pork sandwiches, fries, and slaw were good. Barbecue was a sort of a "Memphis" style with a sweet sauce. Slaw was especially good. Hopefully, we can return soon and eat in.

As pictured, there is a little bit of Detroit decor around the small restaurant. Walk in, order at the counter and wait for it to be brought to you. There is very little seating, I think I counted like 9 tables. I am a little confused as to if it is authentic to Detroit food, as I saw a big bottle of Tony Chacherie's seasoning in the kitchen which is sprinkled on the fries and probably seasoning for the burgers as well. I'm not sure. Woman was super nice, said they'd been open 9 1/2 years with her working there 9 of the years. The owner is from Detroit she told us, but the restaurant definitely lacked anything that would make me personally feel like I were in Detroit. She told us the patties were 8 ounces and for some reason I thought that was tiny, leading me to get the Willie Mack Triple Burger. The burger is indeed not tiny, but ginormous. Very tasty, hot and fresh, there is cheese on every slice and the salad is underneath all the patties. Mayo, mustard and ketchup as well. Fries were great, with Tony's seasoning of course, the burger was incredible, authentic Detroit or not it was very good. My mom got the single burger with fries and we both got drinks leading the total to $30. The drink machine was out, so the lady gave us cans of coke, and I requested sprite so she had a 2 liter of sprite??? ‍ She gave me a cup and told me I can have as many refills as I wanted as well as coke for my mom. It was weird, but the woman made the restaurant feel very homey which I really appreciated. It was a great experience, the lady was incredibly nice, the food was amazing, not sure how authentic to Detroit it is, but I like this place.

After a successful purchase and a hemorrhaging from my credit card, we opted to celebrate the occasion with a meal. And Lo and behold Table 100 was just across the street from where we were. Ambiance 4 Stars - as you walk into the establishment, you are transported back where the warm wood interior, cozy white table cloth tables or booths, high end bar drinks, and classy servers in their white or black attire are waiting to serve you. There plenty of tables and booths to seat a plentiful of patrons. And if you need a little bit more private, you can request a private room depending how many are in the party. 4.5 Stars - Service: our server, Andrew was wonderful, professional and has a great sense of humor. We bantered throughout our dinner but the conversation never crossed over to make anyone uncomfortable. He was observant of our needs and when to bring our next course. Our glasses stayed full with our beverage. 4.25 Stars - Food We ordered from the dinner menu instead of lunch due to our timing at 3:00. Let's just call it "Linner". Haha. 4 Stars - Grilled Swordfish- My wife ordered the dish and came with a decent size grilled swordfish fish, sauté spinach, creamed mash potatoes, and a beurre blanc sauce (lemon, butter and dry white wine). The swordfish was thick and moist; not dry at all. The beurre blanc balanced the bland spinach and the seasoned swordfish. The creamed potatoes were creamy, buttery's and not too salty. 3.75 Stars - Pan seared Redfish with cube fried potatoes, sauté green beans, beurre blanc sauce and top w a Chilean tomato salsa. The redfish was moist and tasty but I wish it had a little bit seared on it for a crunchy factor. The cubed potatoes were good but nothing to write about. The fresh sauté green beans could have a bit more garlic butter. 3.5 Stars Side dish: Deep Fried Brussel Sprouts. Hot, steamy and fresh. Has a slight crunch on the exterior leaves and was seasoned w a sprinkle of salt. 3.75 Dessert: Crème Brûlée and coffee. The crème brûlée crust was crunchy and the vanilla egg custard was good and smooth. It would have been better was a scoop of fresh whipped cream to go with the fresh fruit and crunchy layer. 5 Stars - French pressed Italian coffee. The coffee was a highlight of the dessert. It was hot, fresh, and strong. Just like an Italian coffee should be. It was between an espresso and caffe' Americano. Our, server, Andrew did a wonderful job on the coffee! I definitely recommend this place and we will be back. Don't forget to ask for Andrew, if he is available.

We had heard of Georgia Blue & staying in the hotel across the street was thee perfect excuse. Husband ordered the Seafood Linguine & I had the Pot Roast Poboy. Although the crawfish tasted like the ocean air on a blustery day - the meal itself, he devoured. Let's talk Pot Roast. The picture literally made my mouth water. I have a dental issues so I ordered the Onions, Mushrooms & Gravy OTS. (My side was Mac&Cheese.) Well, I had to call the store bc neither the gravy OR the Mac&cheese made it to our hotel. Of course I sent hubby back for the gravy but by the time I realized the Mac&cheese was missing, hubby was already eating. I opted to just call to make them aware of the missing order items. According to the manager in the phone Mac&Cheese wasn't even on the ticket yet it's printed AND CHARGED on our receipt. I decided to just try & enjoy the meal. 4 bites. FOUR. The roast was SOOOOO salty. I thought it was the gravy so I kept the sandwich for later and tried to eat it NOT THE GRAVY. It wasn't the gravy at all. I had hubby try it and he spit out the 1st bite. The salt was overpowering. Unbelievably overpowering. Our bill was $55 ish & it was the worst meal we have had here in Mississippi. The 2 star was specifically for the linguine. Besides the crawfish- perfection.

We walked in…read morearound 9am on a Sunday morning and, after confirming they had pork-alternatives on the menu, waited to be seated. The place was not crowded but was doing a decent business and we only waited about a minute before being escorted to our table. The space is slightly cramped, as you have to walk single file down the aisles, especially if there are customers at the tables. Regardless, the decor is nicely done with cool copper looking A/C ductwork exposed among the black painted rafters and beams in the ceiling. I was immediately arrested by the Apple Fritter French Toast, French toast style fritters with fried apples, rum butter sauce, blueberries and powdered sugar! Both the description and the pictures on the menu were mouth-watering! But I was also torn between that and the Bourbon Street Pancakes, three house-recipe cakes topped bananas, pecans, rum butter sauce drizzle and whipped cream. Yeah, I was thinking exactly what you are thinking right now! After much indecision, I opted for the French Toast, with a side of eggs and chicken sausage. My mom ordered the Pumplin Crunch Waffle, a pumpkin infused graham cracker crunch Belgian waffle, spiced pumpkin cheesecake butter, maple pumpkin syrup and powdered sugar. I also opted to try one of their Cranberry Pomegranate Fizz Mocktail, which was iced tea, cranberry and pomegranate syrups, lime and ginger beer, with rosemary and orange peel! We were taking no calories prisoner today! After a short wait, my mocktail was brought out. It was just okay. First, the glass was completely full of ice so there was barely any drink. The syrups were a little too sweet and the ginger beer was not very prominent. As I was tasting it, our server came back to inform me that they were out of apples for my French Toast. Maybe its just me, but 9am seems kind of early to be running out of ingredients for your featured dish at a breakfast/brunch restaurant... Anyway, that dilemna settled, I reverted to my other choice and got the Bourbon Pancakes. I also asked the server to remake my mocktail with less ice, which he obliged very quickly. Our food arrived shortly thereafter and the pancakes were really good! Just the right amount of flavor and syrup. My mom's belgian waffle was also pretty good, although she wished it had been larger. The eggs and sausage were decent, but not especially memorable. Overall, it was a really enjoyable first meal back in Jackson. I would not hesitate to come again!

First things first...that Smash Burger. Son...I about slapped myself just to make sure I wasn't dreaming! I'm telling y'all right now, it's the best smash burger I've ever put in my mouth, and I ain't taking that statement back. Now let's discuss these Trashed Ribs. Sweet baby Jesus riding a smokehouse...WHOEVER came up with these deserves a parade! They are so doggone good they'll make you want to hug the pitmaster. The baked beans? Mercy! If Grandma made beans this good, half the family would've never left home. Best baked beans I've ever eaten, and that's saying something because I've been eating my way across Mississippi for a long time. Now I'll admit, I'm a mustard potato salad fella. Always have been. But even though theirs isn't my usual style, I'd eat a five-gallon bucket of it without apologizing to anybody. The brisket sandwich? Lawd have mercy! Tender enough you don't hardly need teeth. And that Brisket Philly Cheesesteak? If you order it, don't make plans afterward because you're gonna need a nap and probably a testimony. The folks working there couldn't be nicer if they tried. The waitress treats you like you've been neighbors for twenty years, keeps your drink full, and makes you feel right at home. That's the kind of Southern hospitality folks are always talking about. So quit fooling around with the same ol' drive-thrus and chain restaurants. Gas up the truck, tell your wife you're "running an errand," and head over there.
