Terry found time to do a pre-purchase inspection on a used car we found in Vallejo on the day I called. Being from our of state, there was a strong sense of confidence of the integrity and skill that Terry and his tech applied to scrutinize the vehicle. We asked for him to report on things we cannot know being far away. He not only did the full and thorough inspection of the car mechanically and structurally, but he also kept his promise to provide details about the exterior condition that could not be seen in the dealer's photographs of the vehicle. He also did exactly what we asked for, and reported that there was no cigarette odor inside the car. We consider Sonoma Auto Tech a highly trustworthy facility. And the dealer who is selling the car decided to use Terry and his crew to replace/repair the door actuator that Terry reported as inoperable. Brought in my wife's Audi Q7 for a rear brake estimate after receiving a quote of $850 at the dealer. I was quoted between $500-$600 using oem parts and that if I brought the car first thing in the morning I would have it back the same day. The shop was open promptly at 8 am when I came to drop off the car and I received a call that the job was done by about 4 pm. My total bill was $560 for brakes, rotors and sensors.
