This has quickly become our go-to sushi spot in town! Not only is the sushi always fresh and delicious when we order takeout, but dining in is such a fun experience. They serve sushi on a revolving belt, which makes it exciting to try new items and grab your favorites as they come by. One of the things we really appreciate is how family-friendly the restaurant is. They offer training chopsticks for toddlers, which makes it easier (and more fun!) for little ones to join in. Our toddler loves collecting them every time we go. Another unique feature is their rewards system -- you can earn points each time you dine and then redeem them for prizes. It adds such a playful element to the experience and keeps us coming back. Between the delicious food, the interactive dining style, and the thoughtful touches for families, this spot is truly a gem!

A rotary sushi place located off the beaten path! We wanted to switch it up from our usual Kura trips and were glad we did. We had so much fun and the staff was incredibly nice! We came in mid day and were seated in a booth and got started. They had some super unique ones, we tried a few but ended up loving our usual favorites. Their spam and eggs ones were great too. Not one I'd usually gravitate towards but it wasn't bad. You can also order various items on screen too instead of waiting for it to come around but we decided that we enjoyed the waiting game and seeing them on the belt.

UPDATE 7/5/24: Well, unfortunately I recently had my first disappointing Sooshibay experience. Got seemingly forgotten about twice during my meal, didn't get my drink until I was four plates in (and I am not a fast eater), and similarly to what a few other reviews here have stated, the sushi on this visit was falling apart as soon as it hit the soy sauce. On top of all that, for lack of a nicer way of putting it, they seem to now be lawyering their way out of what constitutes a stamp-worthy visit on their loyalty cards and I wouldn't be surprised if the birthday prize wheel goes away soon. The prices are still great for what it is and the ambiance is better than would be expected for a sushi joint in Kenosha, but I can't go higher than 3 and don't think I'll be back for a while.

We had a great time last night at Sooshi Bay! We used to have to drive all the way to Chicago for conveyor belt sushi so this was wonderful! My favorite piece I tried was the salmon sandwich! Nice and fresh tasting with a good mix of fish and vegetables! We will be back for sure! I will say our waiter was completely MIA almost the whole time we were seated. Did not significantly impact our dining experience since we did the conveyor belt but we probably would've ordered more drinks if we could have. This place was packed! Make sure you have a reservation!

Sooshibay has been on my list to try for awhile now, mainly excited to see the conveyor belt sushi in action. You can choose to sit at the conveyor or at a standard table. We wanted to sit at the conveyor so we had a little wait, as we were waiting we noticed other groups that arrived after us getting seated. They ended up forgetting to give us a buzzer, and we were seated after we asked about it. We were seated at the bar conveyor area, rather then a booth. From where we were seated, you could see into the kitchen, and watch them prepare the sushi. You can order anything off the menu as well as the conveyor. Some of the food comes out on a higher conveyor, straight to your seat. We got miso soup and sushi from the belt. There were plenty of options on the belt ranging from $2.50 to $6.50, some of our favorites were the fiesta roll and the spicy tuna roll. The belt included wasabi and ginger, seaweed salad, crepe cakes. and nigiri. You get about four pieces of sushi per plate, about half a roll, so it allows you to try a variety of sushi without committing to a whole roll. We enjoyed the experience and it was fun to grab items off the belt, but most of the sushi we tried wasnt that impressive in flavor. I don't know if they rotate the options on the belt, but it would be cool to see some other signature rolls to try.

came here for my birthday dinner. yummy, fresh sushi. it was only $100 for five of us. lots of options, great service and beautiful, clean & aesthetic atmosphere.

This place is amazing! Casual, comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The menu seems almost endless between the conveyor and the menu! Service was excellent! Great food, reasonably priced (based on plates taken, color coded for price). There's a separate menu for drinks and appetizers that are more traditionally priced. About $20-$30 per person. You have to try the Miso Ramen... so rich and flavorful. A meal in itself. Plenty of parking.

I've been to conveyor belt sushi places in the Chicago burbs so was happy to have one in ktown! This.place is big, with lots of seats and booths facing the conveyor belt. There's lots of items coming down the belt and little pictures introduce what the upcoming dish is. There variety was pretty good. The way this place works is the price (ranging from $2.49 to $7) is noted by plate color. The server counts your plates at the end of the meal and charges you accordingly. There's also a menu you can order off of - kind of fun fact is your table has a number and letter (ie we were D4) and when tbe kitchen sends your food it comes sliding out on a conveyor belt above the main belt with your table number on it, and stops at your table. For birthdays/holidays you get to spin a wheel and get a discount (we got 15% off our bill) Only complaint? No mochi or taiyaki on our visit. They had a green tea crepe cake though that pretty much made up for it. I'm a fan!

    Seating by the sushi belt.

Really cute rotating sushi near Milwaukee! We were seated quickly and our server was kind! Sushi was great and also the ramen!

How can you go wrong with conveyor belt sushi? Options to sit directly in front of the conveyor belt, right next to it or away from the belt and order off a menu. Prices for the conveyor belt are clearly labeled. The portion sizes are appropriate for the prices. Staff was helpful and friendly!

I have been here twice now. It's such a fun experience and the food is delicious . This is great for families, lunch with coworkers, solo, and even date nights. If you don't like sushi they offer different other options as well. They have a full bar with amazing cocktails . I really enjoy their Lychee martini and spicy scallops! It's nice to have something different in the area like this. I do recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends because it can get pretty busy. They offer parking in front and on the sides of the restaurant! I can't wait for my next visit!

Super cool addition to the Kenosha area. There isn't anything like this in the general vicinity for about 45 minutes in any direction. This was my first time at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant and it was a fun experience. Sooshibay would be a great place to meetup with friends for a new experience or go on a date. Service was pretty good. They have all their items marked if they are gluten free & have gluten free soy sauce, just ask. For beverages they have Pepsi products and tea. My favorite roll was the steak roll. Some other notable good ones were one with spam and the Mexican roll. I did not care for the beef kabobs, they were very chewy. Definitely recommend checking my this spot out, but if you are looking for the best/most fresh sushi, this isn't the spot. It's more of a novelty. Think about, how fresh is the sushi if it's going around on a conveyor belt? Cool concept and executed well here, but for the best highest quality sushi, go elsewhere. I spent about $35, including an appetizer, 1 roll off the menu, a pop, and a few rolls from the belt. All in all, I am happy that I got to try a bunch of different items and consider the pricing fair.

It's definitely larger space than other rotary sushi places so I appreciated that it had the space. We were seated quite quickly, and given a tablet for ordering if we had desired food other than what was rotating around. I appreciated that they put the pickled ginger and wasabi (individually packaged) on the conveyor, as I think other restaurants have it on the table (which to me is always sus...little kids). We always have a garden for yellow tail rolls bc we like the texture and green onions. We thought on the tablet that it didn't have any onions, so we didn't order that, but luckily it appeared on the conveyor. We noticed that ramen was a special on Wednesdays, so we ordered a few for our table. Thought it took too long to come out. They must have forgotten it, as the char SIU pieces looked over toasted under a broiler - we had the server take notice and they remade the pork pieces for us. The pork was delicious, and glad they were able to rework the food. Rotary sushi is always fun for my kids as they eye the possibilities and then enjoy the fun with the robot tray that delivered our meal. I'll keep Blackfish in mind next time I want to do rotary sushi. The daily specials are pretty decent on value.

I had a little time to look at the interior and people watch. It was a younger crowd and probably data night for a few. Interior did remind me of trendy hip style you see in some sushi places. When I got seated the waitress was helpful pointed a few things out and showed me the conveyer and the ordering tablet. I was looking forward to trying the rotating meal options off the conveyer belt. I have been to a couple of these style places before. Now I did see they were going to stop serving before the actual close time so I wanted to dig right in and get a few things. I ended up with 3 places which were ok a spicy tuna, tuna nigiri, and one of their custom rolls. Fish tasted ok and rice was not dry. I waited and watch for about 10 minutes for other things of interest to rotate around and there really wasn't much(not much on the conveyer or new things being put out) I ended up going to the tablet to just place orders there, which was a little bit of a bummer. I like the mystery of what is going to come around the conveyer next and trying something random. It was around 8:15 and I wanted to make sure I got food before they closed kitchen. The delivery for the tablet ordered sushi was on a little vehicle that rolled out on top of sushi conveyer, which was cute I could seek kids getting a real kick out of that. I decided to try a ramen which ended up being hand delivered. Soup was not hot it was more just warm which didn't work great with the noodles. They have to sit a little to soften up. I think it would have been better if it was hot. I could have probably just ordered the ramen alone because I did end up with too much to eat. Be careful how you order. If I was to go again, I would definitely try to go earlier to give more time on the conveyer maybe closer to 5. The place is a little far away for me to just do a causal meal so I will probably stick closer to my local favorites. If i was taking 3-4 folks out I might go for the place as a fun dining out place. Parking not a problem. Staff was pretty friendly and they did a good job of cleaning up after people dined. Prices were in line for other rotating type sushi bars I have been around Chicago. Most plates fell between $4-10 depending on what you got.
