I've heard this place had the humongous cinnamon rolls and I knew I had to get one. The small could feed 3 people easily and the family size is HUGE. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon. The bread was fresh made and the gravy was delicious! Coffee is always piping hot and service cannot be beat! This place gets busy and I can see why. The food was great, service was outstanding and the homemade bread, cookies and cinnamon rolls are the stars here. If you're ever by Millington, stop by here. You'll be glad you did!

The American fries were the closest thing to what my mother used to make a long time ago. Service was excellent. She talked about the cinnamon rolls. I bought a small one to go which was anything but small (very delicious I might add). I was an hour away from home on my way through for the day's activities. My wife and I will go there soon. Thank you for a great start to my Saturday. It was my birthday too but I don't mention that to people.

No one else seated in that area at that time. With entire floor empty, four of us were seated at the table at the back where all traffic to and from kitchen must pass. Not a problem, but by the time we had dinner with dessert, the entire area was filled with customers...subjecting us to the constant in/out business of the kitchen traffic. Clearly we were given the noisiest and worse table in a location where there was not a single occupied table. I didn't think we appeared that undesirable. The bill for our dinners with dessert came to almost $300...two of us had salmon with plum sauce, a dish we enjoyed and have had on prior visits. My complaint...1 person asked for extra plum sauce to take with her leftover salmon. She received a plastic container with approximately 3 ounces of sauce. The charge $3.00. I am not cheap, or I wouldn't be treating people to rib-eye steak or salmon that we enjoyed at a place like White Horse Inn. But...I do consider WHI to be cheap and willing to sacrifice losing a customer with that kind of service, or lack thereof. I know that you are popular, serve good food and I understand why that is true. No doubt you won't miss the four customers you have lost over the above issues.

The river seems to sit just beyond your table. Freighters float by and it is a site to see. (If you live here you take for granted how cool this is!) often on summer comings you can find live music either at the indoor bar (which has large group high top tables) or out on the deck a band or solo acoustic set! I have images from two different visits in this review. Managed well this restaurant has great food and good service. Been here a number of times and honestly it's usually high class for the region. On this occasion our party of three had cedar planked salmon, red snapper and shrimp, lemon scented salmon with corn salsa and black beans. We also had a wedge salad, seafood bake appetizer and cup of clam chowder. The chowder is a staple and has lots of chunks of potatoes and clams. Wedge salad is good- not in my top 5 but certainly in the top 10. Made right/ great blue cheese dressing! Personally the red snapper and shrimp was lovely. Crusted with Parmesan cheese the red snapper had a nice exterior. I had double veg and appreciated the asparagus. All the food was great the appetizer was awesome. I could have eaten about 10 more shells with that lovely seafood cheese and butter dream. So head on up or down the river and enjoy a nice night! This is situated with a hotel on property. One day I'll eat, drink, stay and update this review! Thanks as always River Crabs!

I asked whether it was homemade or came out of a can. To my great delight, it was housemade. I was also asked if I wanted it made with American fries or hash browns, which was a nice touch. The corned beef hash was awesome, and the over-easy eggs were perfectly cooked. I would probably go with hash browns over American fries next time, but no complaints at all regarding the portion size, the quality, or the flavor. I also had rye toast. Not sure where they got the bread, but it had a nice chew to it. The hubby had a baconburger and fries and reported that it was good. As far as the service is concerned, the waitresses were good, but the food took a bit of time to come out of the kitchen considering the number of people sitting in the restaurant. Not sure if the kitchen is normally a bit slow or if it was an off day, but the food was totally worth it.

Icould not detect the Brie from the cream that was added and based on the brown color there likely wasn't much brie. It was very salty to the point that I couldn't eat much of it.
