Heard good things from family who ate here So Met a friend. I had one of the lunch specials & she got one of the specialty pizzas. I've been wanting to try a different pizza sauce, & they had several. I went with waitress' suggestiom, & It did not disappoint. I had zero leftovers As I ate EVERYTHING. Several more things on the menu I'd like to try. I'll be back. Clean restroom. Covered outdoor seating stayed busy as cool summer day with rain. Sorellis is all about expectations. If your expecting a taste of "The Hill" in Cedar hill like the menu claims, your going to be disappointed. If your expecting typical dried out sandwiches or greasy bar food then you may be surprised... Ordered the appetizer sampler to start. All 3 items were good. Typical bar type food, nothing special. The red sauce/marinara was a bit of a turn off and super chunky, at least the cup that we were served was. Everything was fried perfectly though, and I particularly liked the fried mushrooms and the toasted ravioli's. Moving on to the burger... It was okay, but pretty measly in size, especially considering the price. It is advertised as a 1/3lb which is already pretty small IMO, and it was also missing the bacon I had requested added on. I didn't notice it till the 2nd or so bite so I didn't mention it to the waitress but I also wasn't charged for it so no big deal. Fries were good, extra crispy battered type that I like. My guest had the tortellini. They tried to eat it but only made it through a few bites before they decided it just wasn't that great. No amount of adding salt, pepper, or mixing up the cold tortellini on top with the hotter ones swimming in the cheese bechamel below was going to save that. According to them the best part of that dish was the garlic roll. I tried it and personally didn't think it was terrible, bland for sure and definitely not worthy of an Italian restaurant, but not the worst I've ever had. It honestly tased as you would expect it to when ordering pasta from a bar and grill. Something you typically don't do. Service on the Friday night we came was sub par. I can't fault what appeared to be the only waitress because it seemed that she had at a lot going on scattered in both the bar area and the less smoky dining area, but this meant we only saw her for ordering the food, and when the apps and food were brought out. We were actually ready to go at least 10 minutes before she finally came back around with the check. Food we were served was also not super hot and the time between the apps being delivered and the main course was painfully slow. Bottom line, I don't foresee myself making the drive from High Ridge to Cedar hill just for Sorellis. I have a rule however that I always give second chances, and I would like to try out the pizza, as well as some of the other apps too, so whenever that second chance happens, I'll be sure to write an updated review. read more

Stopped in there to see the menu and check out the restaurant as soon as I stepped in the door, the smoke was overwhelming. I don't like to eat at restaurants where you have to inhale somebody else's smoke. read more

Last night we stopped by after a Northwest soccer game. Ordered 2 spaghetti and meat balls. The sauce was dark red and was so salty I couldn't take a second bite. We paid and left . Do not waist your time or money! read more

Call twice to try to order. It rung for a good minute before getting an automated "Enter your remote access code" before the call hung up on me. Zero way to order online as the service says it is unavailable. Waste of time. Wouldn't even step foot in here due to inability to order via phone or online. read more

Food is basic food service bar food. Chances are your fried dishes will be over cooked and chips are usually stale generic brand from a bag. Sandwiches are decent, portions are generous. Supposed to be a little bit of the Hill in Cedar Hill but don't eat any of their "Italian " dishes. Known for their pizza- haven't had one I would recommend yet. Great service. If you want a quick inexpensive bite to eat or really cold beer it's good. Main attraction is its close to home! read more

I like to support local so we gave this a try. It was not good. The place was EMPTY on a Saturday night which should have been a clue. We had a family of 4 and ordered a variety of things from pasta to pizza. My cajun pasta was stone cold. The tortellini was swimming in white gravy, not pasta sauce. When I shared this they removed the cost of my Cajun pasta but charged me the full price of my entree for a side salad - weird! I guess they were trying to recoup. read more

This will most likely be the last time we will eat here as the last few times service was poor, but today it was horrible. I went here a few months ago so I am hoping things have gotten better since then. The atmosphere was cool and the 2 tvs running 2 different sports was nice as was our server the food was a mixed bag. The pizza was good for a price and the spicy buffalo one had just the right amount of kick for me. The pasta I got was a let down. The serving was very small of pasta con broccoli as well as my friends spaghetti and meat balls which actually was noodles in a red meat sauce with no actual meat balls. My grandparents live two minutes away from sorellis so I eat there very often. I have been going to sorellis ever since I was little. Actually it was the first pizza I have ever eat. Pizza great, sandwhiches great, pasta great! Fun place to eat. Bar for adults and arcade for the kids. Sorellis two thumbs up! read more

Great little restaurant for a quick bite to eat! We had two appetizers, toasted ravioli and pretzel bites, and both were good. We didn't know what to expect with the pizza but were pleasantly surprised. The menu had lots of choices but we went with a pretty simple sausage and pepperoni. The sausage was real sausage, not the little balls of preformed sausage some places use. Cheese was similar to St. Louis favorite Imos. Overall, it was a good pizza. We'll definitely go back to try some other varieties. read more

We were here on a late night, luckily their kitchen is open until 11 p.m. on weekends! I heard the pizza was good, so that's what we got. The pizza was similar to Imo's style, thin crust with lots of yummy cheese! The pizza was great, we also had a friend who got the pasta and really enjoyed it, but the serving size was pretty small. We also had the bosco cheese breadsticks before our meal, delish!! The place was dead on a late Saturday night, so I'm not sure on a normal night for dinner how the atmosphere is. 4 of us had cannelloni, mustacholi, lasagna and tortelini. All were very good. Not many there on a thursday night and service was very good. 2 of us ordered a cold beer in a frosted mug. when we ordered a second beer the waitress said it would be cheaper to order a pitcher. Good and friendly service here, and the pizza is great, but I wouldn't recommend anything else. We ate for my wife's birthday here on a Sunday night. My Roast Beef and Au Jus sandwich wouldn't have been half bad unfit would have been even a little warm. I got it and all the meat was literally cold to the touch. My wife's Pasta con Broccoli was not terrible but the Alfredo sauce tasted like a just add water sauce. Not bad, but not good. My son had the kids chicken tenders which were decent but overcooked. My daughters Pepperoni Pizza was awesome. Just like Imo's. I'd go back for drinks and Pizza but I will never venture outside of that again. read more

I've been living in the Cedar Hill area (House Springs) for 18 years and have been to Sorellis many times. NEVER AGAIN!!! You should save your money and buy a frozen pizza. $2.69 for extra toppings, and there's hardly anything on it. Should have given it back as soon as I picked it up, could tell by the weight. Got home and ordered the same pizza from Pizza Hut just to compare. I'm not a "pizza chain" type of person, but have to say, the Pizza Hut pizza was much better, not to mention, dropped of right at my door. Silly me, but I'll keep driving to North Country and get "real" pizza from Angelo's or Pirrones's any time before going back here. read more

Worst service ever. Waited over an hour for them to tell us that they just put our pizza in the oven. They said they had several To Go pizzas. No, you take care of your Dine In guests first. They only had 3 tables too. Maybe that should have been our first clue. This is NOT the first time this has happened either. Will not waste my time again. Kind of run down on inside, tables and chairs could be replaced. Beer garden is probably nice in summer months. We went on a Sunday, got there a few minutes after they opened for lunch and were the first ones there. Music was so loud we had to yell a little to hear each other talking, asked if they could turn it down some and they did which was nice but the waitress mentioned that the owner requests the music always be louder and they get a lot of complaints about the loudness. Perhaps the owner should get his/her hearing checked. Other customers trickled in but it took an hour and five minutes to get our simple meals, one of them being fried pickles that came out way over cooked, not edible. The other a child's spaghetti and one pasta con broccoli. I told waitress about pickles and she said she was told to bring them out anyway and try, I found that insulting. She took them away and I did not dare try to wait for another dish. I also asked what happened that it took so long and was told they had a hard time warming up the meat sauce for the kids spaghetti meal. I found that to be odd. Waitress was very nice and tried to help so I don't think any of this was her fault, poor girl was doing her best. While they did not offer to take the pickles off the ticket, they did end up removing our drinks from the total. This was a very disappointing place and we will not go back. read more

The food the people and atmosphere are always on par. The pizza is deliciousness and the mustard (mild) wings will have your tongue trying to slap your brains out.... It's my go to if I want a good meal close to home. Better and more friendly than the other local pizza place (Big River Pizza aka old Cecil Whittakers). Try it!! read more

A friend and I decided to go here tonight, because my friend wanted one of the salads they sell. We seated ourselves and waited a bit of time for a waitress. We started out with a mix drink and the sampler app. The drinks had a weird taste of mildew. The flavor of the wings we went with on the app was garlic parm. Once it arrived, we were very disappointed to learn that their version was melted butter with a little garlic flavor. Not good at all. The mozzarella sticks were not hot and the cheese was already solid again. For my main dish I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich. It was very dry and not seasoned. The fries had been cooked way too long! We had to track our waitress down for our check and a to go box. She also forgot our side sauces we ordered. Which we had to track her down for. Overall, not a good experience and will not be going back. But hey, the salad my friend went for was decent. I believe it was the deluxe! So that's good! read more

I ordered 2 lbs of hot mustard wings and a pizza, picked it up. I have ordered every time I ordered in the last several years hot mustard which is just like the Syberg wing sauce. Apparently the hot mustard is now called mild mustard this time after they sent me HOT flavored wings. Ignoring the Mustard in my order, I called back and got the run around well the girls said you did not order mustard just hot. Was told to drive back down they would give me some Mustard sauce for them. When the order was delivered it was cold, and the pasta was literally not edible. It had a burnt taste, and went into the trash. So basically I paid $40 for two salads.
