I tried Sorrento's because co-workers recommended it, but it was just so-so. Others said that it used to be good in the 80's and 90's, but it's just passable now. I found No-No's Pizza around the corner, and I have it once a week now. I think the 5 star reviews are from people that have never had really good pizza. read more

The pizza here has to be my favorite. The tiny pepperoni cups are delicious. Their slices are pretty big and decent prices.! The sauce is a bit sweet but thats what makes it so good. The only reason there's 4 stars instead of 5 is half the time I go there my pizza comes back burnt or rly hard on the bottom. But I guess like any place it depends whos working. They close their kitchen early and screw up the simplest of orders. Would not recommend. Go to Stoshs or Nonos. Calzones come out raw and management doesn't seem to care about the quality control of their product when you bring issues to their attention. read more

This is my favorite place to order pizza from. I always order the 16in XL Regular Pan Pizza, as that's how they cook their individual slices. Their prices are way too reasonable for the quality food you receive. The dough is always cooked perfectly, never too soft with just a bit of a crunch, never soggy or sopping with grease like some other places, and the pepperoni doesn't taste fake, rubbery, or burnt. Whenever I have called to place a carry out, the employees were quick, friendly, never had an order incorrect, and have always told me when they're having a deal(s). Even when i'm tired of ordering/eating pizza, I could still go for some Sorrento Pizza of Warren. I've had other Sorrento's pizza (like Sam's of St. Clair Shores, not sure if they're related) and the Warren location would probably put them out of business. Would rather go here than down the street to Franco's, Stosh's, or Nono's. I would recommend this place to absolutely anybody and everybody. read more

I went to check out the reviews for this place, surprised by the positive reviews... This was actually the worst pizza I had in my entire life. I didn't even have a bad experience, the pizza looked presentable, they delivered in a timely manner and it was still warm. Why such a poor review?? HOW DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY LIKE THESE GUYS???? I was starving, the pizza looked good and I took a few bites. Super bland taste with a very bitter and strong aftertaste/residue. I ate about 70% of one slice and threw the rest away. I thought maybe it was that one slice I had, so I tried working on a second piece, but I just took one bite and spit that one out and threw it away as well... I've had a lot of pizza in my day, I love pizza.. I've had a lot of good pizza and I've had a lot of bad pizza. But I never gave up on pizza so quickly, especially being as hungry as I was. I threw out the entire large pizza I ordered and although I ordered the pizza because I had "no food in the house", I decided to make some ramen noodles instead, which normally I do not like, but my pizza was so bad, it didn't even taste like pizza. NOT IMPRESSED!!! The manager took my order and got my address wrong after repeating it to me correctly. It took 1 hour 40 minutes to get 2 subs delivered and when I asked the manager about canceling my order he said it would take 4 days to get my money back on the card. He would not give discount even when the food did arrive cold and with soggy bread. Wish I would have opted to pay cash so I could have cancelled my order and got a better meal. read more

I was looking for a good pizza place and remembered that sorrentos was really good back in the day so I ordered pizza on the way from work. $20 for 1 large pizza wow, but I thought ok I am sure it is a really good pizza. I am told 20 minute which is how long it should take to get there. I pull up to the window and they tell me to pull over it. Is not ready, no problem, finally 20 minute later and no signs of life or my pizza I pull back up to the window, I wait a couple of mins for someone to come to the window he sees me and say oh right, he brings me the pizza and has the nerve to say be careful it is piping hot it just came out of the oven, what a joke the box was cold, I reached in to touch the crust and it was maybe warm at best (receipt states ordered at 5:31. I lived in Michigan most of my life and enjoyed the simple pleasure of being able to enjoy the best pizza on earth. Now I live in Ohio and I have to travel 4 hours to get back to that taste. Ordered a large pizza and chilli cheese fries with 3 sides of ranch dressing.. Waited 1 1/2 hours for food to arrive. Food was cold when it finally arrived and was missing the ranch dressing.
