I would highly recommend SOS Cleaning and Restoration. I had a substantial leak from my reverse osmosis that had been dried properly but I still felt there was mold under the shelf below my sink and under my dishwasher. Other companies had suggested that I needed to replace my floor and two said to pull out my entire cabinet. The owner of SOS, Mark came out and took out the cabinet shelf under my sink and disposed of it due to mold on the underside and cleaned the mold that was left. He also moved my dishwasher out and cut a piece of the floor under it to inspect for mold but found none. On my unfinished basement ceiling, he wiped the parts that had been wet with a solution and inspected the ceiling for mold. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was professional, friendly and honest and I would call his company first if I ever had a problem with water cleanup or mold clean up. They are very reasonably priced too. read more

Mark did the work needed, was friendly and told us we would be invoiced after the insurance company paid us for the flooding damage. We're still waiting on that check from the insurance to be endorsed by our mortgage company and WHAM, I just got an email from SOS and a supposedly overdue invoice that I needed to pay in two days or a lien would be put on my property!!! NO COMMUNICATION, NO HONESTY. We'll pay the bill, but we will absolutely not advise anyone in the Twin Cities to trust what these people tell you or how they do business. read more

I had a bad stain on my somewhat dated, very light living room carpet. Instead of calling SOS first thing, I tried to treat and clean it myself. Huge mistake. The orange soda stain came up no problem and only thing left over was the damage I caused. Rest of room was cleaned as well and looks great. Highly recommend. read more

He was punctual, friendly, respectful of my household items, helped me move a few things, and the floors look great. I had no issues with customer service-this co. is easy to work with. I can not tell you how wonderful Floor Restore is!! I have used them in the past and was always happy with their work, BUT, this time was different! One of my stinker children spilled orange sunkist on my beige carpet in the living room!!! Don't worry...said child is still alive and well despite the terrible accident... I tried everything to get the stain out! Even professional spot cleaner and numerous tricks I found online. Nothing worked. I called Mark and practically begged him to help me. He got me on the schedule within 2 days, and not only did he get that lovely bright orange stain out, but he also made my carpets feel brand new!! I had no idea they were supposed to be so soft!! I don't even want to think about what in God's name was making them so crusty before... In any case, after using Floor Restore multiple times, I would, and do highly recommend them to my friends and family!! read more

Mark is as good as a business gets. He AGAIN cleaned my carpeting and I have three neighbors who have called and and said not only does a great job, but he is also so nice offering to help move something if necessary, In order to give him the best review I possibly can I have to go back a couple years. Due to faulty work by the builder of our home the roof leaked where it was joined to my neighbors (we lived in a cub home which has three homes joined under one roof). Water actually came through the roof and poured through the inside of my bedroom wall. After a few inspections to prove this to our Board of Directors and 90 days living without a full wall in the bedroom, the roof problem was repaired by an outside contractor Mark was called in to remove the mold found in the wall and dry out the floor and by then ruined bedroom. He had to dress in protective covering and helmet due to the mold. In order to make it as easy for me as possible he suggested closing off the bedroom door and climbing in and out through the window. He brought in big fans for over three weeks and hauled away the mold and debris. He would come at night to check and make sure fans were working and haul away more drywall and mold. After this was all done he cleaned all the carpeting in the house which really needed it due to the workmen coming in and out. Not everybody used the window. I can't say enough about his work ethic and kindness. He will make sure every spot is gone before he leaves. I also found his wife very pleasant and easy to work with on the phone. I would highly recommend them to anyone who appreciates not only a great job but a very good honest person to have in their home. read more

While the finished product was ok, the customer service was terrible. The "office manager" who is actually Mark's wife was incredibly snippy and even bitchy at times, and he lied to me several times about what was going on with my project and when he would be there. Great job, couldn't be more pleased with the result, the night before our scheduled cleaning our 10 year old dog suffered a stroke and had some lets just say some accidents. Mark took care of it and you could not even tell it ever happened.
