We had a really good meal for breakfast at this place. We did not order the souffle pancakes, but that's not why we came. Overall, the menu was strong and everything we ordered was using quality ingredients and tasted great. The service was very friendly and attentive despite what seemed to be an understaffed morning. We started with an order of the French Beignets which were good, but not anything super amazing if you've beignets before. I had the Canadian which was a traditional Eggs Benedict dish well-executed. My wife enjoyed the madam croquette, which she liked a lot. The kids ordered The let's get fruity French toast and the bananas Foster French toast. Though. My husband and I had the same dish, "All or Nothing" breakfast with eggs, grits, sausage and 2 pancakes. Really good! The grits were creamy and yummy! Four stars represents my average review. I go to Soufflé's often. The first 2 times we went. It was absolutely perfect! Exceptional service, excellent food, awesome drinks, friendly atmosphere, all wrapped into one great location! Since then I have noticed Soufflés becoming inconsistent. Always great, but not always excellent they seem to have gone through some turnover in staff. Sometimes the services is great, sometimes it's lacking. Food is always excellent. I have ordered the same drink on three different occasions and gotten three different drinks. I highly recommend Soufflés. read more

Very good from the server, drinks and the food. Iryna our server was pleasant, genuine and suggested the blueberry muffin to accompany my corned beef hash Benedict which was amazing. We had a mule and a peach mimosa and both were very good. The food was perfect , the hash had a great flavor and texture . The way they put the corned beef hash, red peppers and eggs together made for great flavor profile . The build your own omelet was huge , cooked perfect and tasted good. The home fries are ok . There was plenty toast and done right . I will go back and try the sweet offerings as they sounded great and the bloody Mary's also looked fantastic. My husband & I are locals here& used to go to Soufflés often. We had guests in for vacation & took them to breakfast here. The waitress was very unfriendly, all the food came out except mine. The waitress never came back to the table to check on us & offer more coffee . My husband finally went up to her & informed her that I never received my meal while everyone else was finished . She finally delivered my meal & never apologized but to make matters worse she blamed on the fact that I didn't want whip cream on my French toast .. huh?! Our guests left to go to the store while I ate my meal alone, waitress never came back to the table. I spoke with the manager who apologized but never took the meal off the bill or offered anything to try to satisfy us. We decided to try them one more time today because we did truly love this place sometime ago. It was pretty much the same, the waitress was clearly new & got my order wrong ( however it did come out on time) never came back to offer coffee, & check if everything was okay. The restaurant was not crowded on a Friday morning so we were seated quickly. There were 4 of us and we wanted to order Bloody Mary's, but they do not have alcohol. But they did offer us a free Mimosa with the purchase of an entree. 2 people had the Mimosa's and they said they were only okay. On one reserve of coffee, it was barely warm. Everyone's meal came out at one time except mine. I ordered the typical eggs benedict. When everyone else was almost finished, mine came out. The apparently over cooked the soft boiled eggs and had to cook them again. They were good, but the bread got very soggy, very quickly. Jessica, our server was great. Our girls love the kids' menu here ... and you can get breakfast all day! The pretzel with cheese sauce and salads are all excellent. We also love their cocktails; however, we just heard that they will stop serving alcohol due to an increase in liability tax (?) from the state. If you're coming in for their signature Soufflé Pancakes, don't expect to receive what you read on the menu. We went to Soufflé's several times last year because the kids loved their Japanese fluffy pancakes and the beignets. Came back excited this year but ended up extremely disappointed! After reading the menu to make sure it was still there, we put in 3 orders. Waiter reminded us that they could only make 2 orders at a time and that each order takes about 25 minutes because of the thickness of the pancakes to make sure they are cooked through. We waited the 25 minutes only for our Soufflé pancakes to come out flat and with some sort of berry syrup instead of the butter and maple syrup. To add insult to injury, the batter they used was a cinnamon, multigrain type of batter. The 3rd order (second batch) came out thicker but still used the multigrain batter with the berry syrup. Had we known all of this, we would never have ordered them as our kids are somewhat picky eaters. We pointed all of this out to our waiter (who said he was new) and even showed him pictures of what we were expecting and what was listed on their menu. He apologized and said they were under new management and offered to have the kitchen remake the pancakes without the berry sauce. (It was very obvious that our kids were not going to eat the multigrain batter, plus we didn't want to wait another 25 minutes, so we opted out.) When the second batch (order #3 of the 3 we placed) of Soufflé pancakes came out, another person (who we assumed was the manager) came out to deliver them. They were still the multigrain pancakes with the berry sauce but this time, the pancakes had some height to them. He explained that they were still trying to get their recipe right and have been watching numerous YouTube videos to perfect them and was happy to bring out this second batch because these fluffy pancakes weren't flat. My biggest complaint was/is if the recipe had changed and hadn't been perfected yet, why not warn your customers who are ordering it? Better yet, take the item off of the menu until it's right! It really was an off day for us at Soufflé's. Not only were the pancakes not what we were expecting, the bacon came out overcooked. (To quote a member of our party, "Beef jerky is easier to chew and more tender than the bacon.") The beignets we were looking forward to was overcooked (think burnt toast) as well. The highlights of our visit were the drinks. The fresh squeezed OJ was great and the chocolate milk was a hit with the kids! It came out with a drizzle along the glass and whipped cream on top. We ordered the On The Slide and that was very good! The chipotle chicken and waffles were tasty and well done. Would definitely recommend this dish! By the time our check came, we hoped to at least get a discount or something for the Soufflé pancakes that were nothing like what was on the menu and no one ate. Decided not complain more and to just pay the bill as we had already explained our discontent with pictures and their own menu description. Sad to say we will not be returning. read more

I give two stars only because the staff was really nice and accommodating, otherwise this is 100% a one star review. As a lot of other reviewers have pointed out, I came here with my wife to eat Japanese style soufflé pancakes. The kind they advertise on their website fraudulently. Instead, I paid $14 or $16 dollars for some tiny cinnamon flavored microwaved muffin bottoms...it's absurd and they should get burned by everyone that orders these thinking they are getting actual soufflé pancakes. The food is great but the service is bad. We arrived for a 7:30am reservation to find the doors locked and manager setting at back of restaurant. I knocked on door and he came and told us that they open at 8am. We waited in car till 8am. When we got into restaurant the waitress took our drink order and said she would have to go make coffee first. I asked for soufflés pancakes and was told the usual; it takes an extra 20 Minutes and we don't have any batter made up yet. The manager came over to table to apologize for not us in at 7:30 but I told him no worries and that he should have been making coffee to be ready for customers. He explained that he had paper work to do. I explained that we were the only customers and three people were available to make coffee and be prepared for the doors To open and he failed as a manager to do anything but talk to employees and hinder them From working. My husband and I visited back in the summer time and I know I've already raved about how good this place is, but I thought you all should hear it again. This place truly is to die for! The food is just outstanding. I was able to indulge in the Sin of all Sins and my husband had their lobster crepe, but as a Benedict and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!
