    Falafel appetizer
    Sarah W.

Pretty good. Easy and convenient place to go. The chicken shawarma wrap was very flavorful. The wrap is deterring on the dry side, but this can be easily fixed with some extra sauce. The falafel appetizer is a robbery of your money. You're better off just ordering falafel by the piece (0.50 cents each). With the appetizer you get 6 pieces of falafel, on a small bed of lettuce, and a piece of pita bread sliced in two. There is a seating area, but it feels more of a take out or delivery place.

Happy to see another Mediterranean spot open up near Logan - affordable and quick for carry out. Food was pretty good (chicken was tender , the salad was a bit lacking). Everything could have used a bit more flavor , but I'll absolutely be back to try again

I was craving some kabobs and saw this place. The service was nice but the food was not so great. I will not return to this place again.

I had a salmon wrap and it was really good. Big chunks of salmon, cooked through but not dry, and grilled veggies too.

My son and his girlfriend have been there many times, and insisted we get the whipped ricotta appetizer and kale salad. Both of these items were top notch, as were the cocktails and we enjoyed. The pasta bolognese that the ladies ordered was delicious. My son had the burger and fries, and it was fine, just not very special. I ordered the "half" chicken, thinking as a bird themed restaurant, the only poultry entree would be a star, but that was not the case. A small thigh and half of a breast was their interpretation of a half chicken, and this was noted on the menu, but the portion was disappointing. The dish was supposed to to be accompanied by polenta with trumpet mushrooms, but two paltry slices of mushroom with a small smear of polenta completed the dish which "artfully" only occupied the left half of the plate, leaving the rest of the plate bare. Small portions aside, the dish was overly salty, to the point I had dry mouth the rest of the night, and the chicken was overcooked. The taste was fine, and the little bit of polenta added enough moisture to make the dish work. The worst thing was the incredibly dull dinner knife that couldn't cut through the mushroom, let alone the chicken, causing me to apply the stab and pull/tear method to get bite sized pieces. Everything thing else was superb. I would go back for the cocktails and appetizers, perhaps grazing the appetizers and a salad as a dinner. The pastas all looked terrific, but I will probably steer clear of the four mains on the menu, as they seem to be the least inspired items to order.

My recent visit, during the season's final Bears matchup, proved just how special this place is. Even with the restaurant packed and buzzing with excitement, the staff created an atmosphere that felt warm, welcoming, and comfortable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and friendly energy. The staff was not only attentive but also mindful of everyone's comfort and safety, watching the door so the space never became a hazard. Despite the crowds, there was no sense of chaos--just a lively, fun vibe that made us feel right at home. Service at The Wild Goose is impressively quick and thoughtful. Our food and drinks arrived promptly, and we never felt like we were waiting, even though the bar was bustling. Special thanks to Will, Liz, Eddie, and Andrew, who made sure every detail was attended to. They checked in frequently, making sure our table had everything we needed and that our experience was as enjoyable as possible. The food lived up to the game day hype. The wings were outstanding--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly sauced. Drinks were delivered quickly and kept the good times rolling. But the real highlight of the meal was the bread pudding dessert. It was so delicious that I even ordered a serving for the table next to mine, convinced that everyone should experience it. If sweets are your thing, this dessert comes highly recommended. What truly sets The Wild Goose apart is the personal touch that runs through every aspect of the service. Sharing a dessert, cheering with friends, and being surrounded by attentive staff made the evening unforgettable. The Wild Goose knows how to make every guest feel special, even on their busiest nights. All in all, The Wild Goose is a wonderful place, full of great people and top-notch service. Whether you're in the mood for sports or simply want a memorable night out, you'll find the perfect blend of hospitality and flavor here. Don't miss the wings, and be sure to save room for the bread pudding!

We finally ordered all at once because we were starving at that point. Our spinach/artichoke dip came out freezing cold and was clearly not cooked at all. We sent it back and did not ask for another. We also ordered margaritas that were a horrible mix that we could not even drink. I understand this is likely not their specialty, but it's listed as on their drink menu. My friend had a burger which was fine and my chicken sliders were ok but were so thick they were basically a big chunk of chicken on a bun. The TVs were also so loud for only having a weekly Cubs game on. I recall enjoying Wild Goose in the past, but it has definitely gone downhill.

Listen, listen, listen, Linda, the onion rings; Do Not Change Them!!! Don't you dare switch to those battered, frozen, chain-restaurant rings of bull-s. These are the good rings. Now, the wangzzzz. I'm not going to pretend these are the absolute best wings in the entire city, but they are absolutely in the "I will randomly crave these on a Tuesday" category. You can also order a toasted english muffin that comes with fresh butter and a homemade jam.. it's so simple but addicting. I have had their Lox English Muffin a couple of times, and if you love Lox, it's GREAT. The creativity in their rotating flavors, and their perfect crust, are a must-try. It's soooo well done. Every pastry I've tried has been spectacular, from their almond blackberry croissant to the pistachio escargot, to their donuts.. I don't think you can go wrong. Their coffee is good, but there's nothing special to me about it! I come here for their fresh pastries and eats. They have free wifi and it's fairly quiet, so a good place to knock out some work or have a good conversation with a friend. It's neat, clean, and bright with a good amount of seating.
