Today me and my family decided to try this restaurant after church, it was highly disappointing. I spent $100 and waited 50 minutes just to get flavorless food. Rice overcooked/gummy, greens/cabbage was more of steamed and served, the mac & cheese super dry and made with cheap cheese, yams taste like they came from a can and allspice was added, the pork chops were old and gravy added to them, the turkey legs were cooked with gravy added over them, cornbread is simply jiffy mix, the banana pudding was spoiled and was still sold, the spaghetti was simply meat cooked with bottled spaghetti sauce and add to the noodles and that catfish had a super fishy taste. The only decent thing was the drink and pralines. This is not homemade soul food and you can tell, nothing is made from scratch or made with love. For the price I should have just went to Mikkis because this was horrible and I only gave 1 star for the okay customer service.

Pretty good food. My food was piping hot. Yay! The portions are good. Decent pricing. I ordered the yard bird meal. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. I will definitely return.

My wife had a hankering for shrimp and we wanted to try a new place...new to us....they've been open 2 years at this brick and mortar location and they have a few food trucks. The Monday thru Friday lunch special fried shrimp and a side....wifey picked fried okra....both were tasty. I went with an Angus cheeseburger with a side of sweet tater fries....the Monday thru Friday lunch special burger can be loaded....yes please! Lettuce, tomato, cheese, onions, pickles and grilled jalapenos. The people that have this place are very nice and from Chicago and if enough people express an interest in an Italian beef sammy he'll put it on the menu. We'll be back. Being right next to a great coffee house doesn't hurt either. Of course we shared.

The first time I stopped by they had just run out of chicken, so I decided to come back another day. The second time, I came in after work one evening to grab something quick and delicious. I can say that Soul Goode delivered on both counts! The ambiance was comforting and laid back. I had a few questions about the menu and the staff was helpful. The restaurant was quiet and empty when I arrived, however soon after I ordered business started picking up. I ordered two dinners. The first one was the Fried Yard Bird with Green Beans and fried okra. The second plate was the Smothered Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Yams. I enjoyed both types of chicken but will give the edge to the fried yard bird. It was fried just right and gave me the feeling of a home cooked skillet of fried chicken. I could almost smell my mom's kitchen when I opened the to go box. The green beans and fried okra didn't disappoint. The cornbread was on point! That was the best cornbread I've had at a restaurant in a long time. It tasted and felt freshly made. The mashed potatoes were great. The yams were so good! They are a must try! Overall I devoured everything I ordered at Soul Goode. This has to be the best soul food restaurant I've tried in Pearland so far. This southern comfort food reminds me of something my mom would have made back home. I'll definitely be back here for that home cooking style. Looking forward to trying the Fish, Pork Chop, Fried Green Tomatoes and Banana Pudding next time.

I will say the oked jerk chicken is was 5 stars delish!!! As far as the other items we tried...decent fried seafood; I've tried the catfish, lobster and shrimp and it wasn't bad. Something was slightly off with the seasoning flavor. All sides with the exception of the cabbage is a serious carbohydrate overload situation. Super sweet Koolaide. I could only handle one sip for fear of passing out on account of the incredible

I visited the Pearland Soul Goode location for some Sunday lunch. All dinner meals come with 1 protein, 2 sides, and cornbread. The pork chops were seasoned perfectly, and the yams were absolutely delicious. The collard greens could've used a bit more seasoning, but I understand they need to cater to the tastes of a mass audience. The mac n' cheese was decent not a big fan, but the cornbread was incredibly moist and tasty. I also got the strawberry Kool-Aid, and I wish I had bought another because I drank it so quickly! Overall, it was a great experience with excellent customer service.

This place is smaller, but we felt comfortable. They do bring the food and drinks to you and you must clean up after yourself.(as you should!!!) The catfish was fried to perfection, it wasn't over seasoned and it was fresh. The spaghetti was good, it had just enough sauce and the cornbread had the perfect amount of sweetness. Me and my daughter did not enjoy the macaroni, it was too cheesy. We did take the rest of our food home except the Mac. Service was great, they answered all questions. I would go back for the fish for sure.

I've stopped in a few times, and my family has been in several times to grab ice cream and churros -- figured it was finally time to do the review. On our most recent trip, my wife and I stopped in for a little treat after dinner. She had a single scoop of café au lait, and we shared a cinnamon sugar churro. Café au lait ice cream -- really good. If you like Vietnamese coffee, this is basically Vietnamese coffee condensed into ice cream. Highly recommended. If you're unsure -- maybe worried it's too strong -- ask for a sample; they're happy to give them out. Cinnamon sugar churro -- came out hot and fresh. Some of the better churros you'll get in Pearland. In the end, this is some of the better specialty ice cream and churros you're going to find in Pearland. They also do a lot for the community -- charity events, get-togethers, and the like -- so follow them on social media to know what's going on. Would recommend, and would return.

Lots of really unique art and designs. I came at 10:30pm when they close at 11. I got their signature Dolly Llama blue cookie shake. There was one couple ahead of me. I'm not sure what their staff of 2 (who was nice) was doing back there but 20 minutes to get my order seemed a bit long. I wasn't in a rush but it just felt way longer than you should have wait for something like this. I enjoyed it just fine...but for the time it took, it didn't come off as anything special. It was pretty runny rather than a thicker milkshake that I was expecting. Maybe that is their style but you could get a more traditional McFlurry at McDonald's that tastes better in about 3-4 minutes for a fraction of the price.

Service here is nothing to write home about, it's younger employees who don't really want to be there. We were literally the only ones in there and they did not greet us or ever really acknowledge us. Just kind of rude but they're young. Now for the desserts here they're amazing. We went with the mini waffle sandwich and the og liege. The desserts here are massive and worth every penny I'm still dreaming about my of liege with horchata ice cream.

Initially placed an order for Iced Adeni, then when I understood that it was pre- made, I changed my order to the Latte. This is the first time I am trying a Pistachio Latte, with normal sweet ( Another thing to decide nowadays- sugar, no sugar, honey, stevia.... ohh the list continues...... ) Actually loved it. They add some spice called Haraz spice. It was really nice. Different from any coffee I have ever tried before. Haraz is slowly becoming my fav stopover. And I haven't even begun to try their baklavas and cakes etc. yet. Fast abd friendly service. Good Ambience too.

Ended up being sweet for us and next time we would order either one or no sugar. Now the Bee bites, oh the bites.
