For drinks we got a hot and cold matcha latte, cappuccino, and a Jasmine milk tea. My favorite had to be the Saigon steak, the steak was so juicy and tender! Love the sunny side up egg on top, we dipped the steak in the yolk I loved the matcha latte, we got it with 0% sweetness and it was perfect for us. Helped wash down all the delicious food! Buisness was also popping on Sunday! We kept seeing people line up and wait for a table. Despite how busy it was, our food and drinks came out pretty quick. Great Asian fusion brunch menu and I especially loved the signature drinks here!…read more I love when you can make reservations for a popular brunch place instead of being forced to walk-in and wait. I made a reservation via Yelp for 3 people on a Saturday at 11:15am. My table was ready on time and they seated me even though our full party was running late. I got the Omelette Fried Rice (4.5/5), that came with delicious sriracha bacon, and an okay salad on the side. For my drink, I got the strawberry matcha latte with oat milk (5/5), which was fantastic. It's on the sweeter side, which worked for me. It was fairly busy and a bit loud inside. The dining room is long and narrow but has a decent amount of seating. Service was good, and friendly.

In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

One of my favorite brunch spots and a Bay Area staple!…read more What I Ordered: * Ube Martini (New!) * Omurice * Millionaire's Bacon They have a seasonal martini collection for the summer, which we ordered the refreshingly sweet Ube Martini! If you are craving savory short rib-eye with a breakfast spin like potatoes and eggs, then order the Omurice. Finally, the Millionaire's Bacon comes with 4 different types of Bacon: Sea Salt Citron, the Original, Cinnamon (the best one) and Rosemary. The service was super fast and multiple servers checked in on us through out the meal with water refills and clean up. Definitely check out their bottomless mimosas on the weekend for brunch with friends!

We came here on a Sunday morning and of course the line is wrapped around the building. It's not as bad as it looks and moved quicker than I expected. It was 4 of us and we wanted to sit inside so that might have added some extra wait time. Once we are seated, I feel like I got wrapped in a tornado! Waiter is very attentive, food comes out fast, and empty plates are cleared right away. If you're looking for a lazy slow Sunday morning, this is NOT the place. Of course, we had to order the "Millionaire's Bacon Sample Platter" to share. It comes with 4 pieces (Original, Citron, Cinnamon and Rosemary). I mean it's thick bacon - they are all delicious. The Citron stood out to me. I like that hint of orange and sea salt goodness. This is a must try! I couldn't help it and got the "Big Hip" - HAHAHA. It's their famous deep-fried French toast. OMG, it's too good and it went straight to my hips. It's crunchy outside and fluffy inside. The service is good and definitely quick. I do feel a bit rush and I don't want to be that person/group to hold up the table. Keep that in mind if you are looking for a slower pace dining experience.

Amazing! I'm actually going there for the second time today!…read more My family arrived early, so the wait was only about five minutes before we were seated. I don't remember if there was music, but it was a busy, lively place with multiple conversations happening at once. It was definitely a cozy, home type atmosphere. A few people ordered chicken and waffles, so I had the chance to try it, and it was delicious! The waffles melted in my mouth! That's what I plan to order next time. I order a Korean chicken sandwich. It was very tasty and large. I had leftovers! I was disappointed because I forgot my leftovers on the table . Note to self: NEVER DO THAT AGAIN. The lemonade was very flavorful, and my kids enjoyed it too. I even tried an alcoholic beverage, I can't remember the name, but I swapped it for lemonade because it was THAT good. As I mentioned earlier, I will definitely return to this restaurant and highly recommend it.

I ordered the K-Bomb chicken Benny and oh boy will you leave satisfied in every way. The perfectly poached eggs are served on top of a fluffy slice of bread topped with kimchi-hollandaise sauce. The chicken was a Korean style fried chicken with a crunchy sweet and spicy bbq sauce reminiscent of gochujang and honey. Home fries and green salad with sesame dressing topped it all off. The mango matcha latte was also quite good and the price for SF and for all that food was great value for the money. Ambiance is casual and a bit loud as can be expected from a brunch place but overall it is clean and a fun spot to meet friends for brunch. Don't stay too long after paying though or you will get stared at by the folks waiting in line. Overall definitely recommend checking them out. I look forward to trying other specialties here.

Diner food at its best…read more I don't visit often, so I tend to stick with the classics (The Plow, Custard French Toast, etc.), but everything I have tried so far has been excellent. As other Yelpers have mentioned, the wait can be incredibly painful. I most recently visited for weekday lunch (random Wednesday at 11:30am), and the wait was still 20-30 minutes for a party of 3 (which pales in comparison to the 2+ hour wait I have been quoted for the weekend). They offer both indoor and outdoor seating (with blankets for the latter on chilly days, which is much appreciated). The service is friendly and efficient, and the food comes out pretty quickly. Definitely worth a visit. I personally would never wait for longer than 30-40 minutes, but I would say the same for most restaurants.

We ordered two Plow plates -- one with the house-made pork sausage and the other with the chicken apple sausage. We also swapped the lemon ricotta pancakes on one of the plates for the almond flour pancakes so we could try both. Everything was well executed. The potatoes were nicely cooked with plenty of crispy pieces, and the eggs came out exactly as we requested. Both sausages were flavorful, although we both slightly preferred the chicken apple sausage. The pancakes were the only part of the meal that didn't quite win us over. The texture was softer and mushier than we expected. We were hoping for something a bit lighter and cakier. Between the two, my boyfriend preferred the almond flour pancakes. Overall, I think Plow is worth trying, but it's not a place I'm in a rush to return to.
