Had a great experience at this Greek restaurant! I ordered the beef souvlaki with pita bread, tzatziki sauce, and sweet potato fries. The beef was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious too. The location was great, very family friendly, and the staff was welcoming and kind. My new go to spot for Greek food in Queens. I visited Soulvaki Spot at lunch on a Friday. I was greeted right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. This restaurant has dine in and take out options. They have a parking lot in the back. It's clean and the decor is bright and it feels like I was in Greece. I got a chicken gyro side order which came with pita and tzatziki. The chicken gyro was well spiced and tender. It was plenty of food for me. My partner got a beef and lamb gyro pita. And we shared a spicy fries (fries with spicy feta). All of the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We will be back to try more of the menu. read more

Keep the dishes quality business will grow itself!!! The items i ordered needs some touches!! 1- Spanakopita is extremely salty!!! I understand they put feta cheese, do not add extra salt to spinach. Not everyone can consume that much salt. Feta cheese is salty already, that will balance the flavor. 2- Greek salad, change the lettuce. It is too harsh. Its been 6 hours already, did not digested yet. Gyros was delicious, size is small. Look every restaurant has its own menu. Compare to Gyro Grill on Woodhaven, their gyros is better. Pretty good food! I ordered the platter for 2 which was a huge portion! It was like $50 which is what we would've spent if we had ordered our own gyros and fries. My husband and I inhaled the food. I really liked the souvlaki salad. The spicy feta had chunks of feta in it, I've never had the spicy feta dip with those chunks of feta in it. I prefer when it's blended in. I enjoyed the Greek fries. We saved a platter of gyro for leftovers. The chicken gyro was a little salty but I'd order from here again. I'd like to try some of the other dishes. read more

Came here today Sunday for lunch place is beautiful clean spotless bright colorful service is great. The food is amazing. What a great addition to Howard Beach. Thank God don't have to drive to Astoria in traffic anymore. I can come straight to Howard Beach my own area. The lurks of Lockie was an awesome food was hot. Fresh tasted great smelled great. The beer was very good. The sausage which I can't pronounce I'm sorry was the best source I've ever had in my entire life. Glad to have a Greek restaurant back in Howard Beach. Souvlaki Spot takes the place of Greek Grill. The menu focuses on sandwiches and platters. We shared the falafel and the pork souvlaki platter. Falafel is priced at about $10 for an order of four pieces. The falafel are crispy and well seasoned. It comes with a small side of hummus. The pork souvlaki came with two skewers, tzatziki, fries or rice, and a Greek salad. Definitely a very filling portion for one. We comfortably shared it between the two of us. Atmosphere is casual. There is a register up front to pay at after dining in a la Greek diner style and there are a couple registers in the back to facilitate tasks of orders. There are two gender neutral tattoos which are both handicap accessible. Service was quick and attentive. I'm glad to have a convenient Greek restaurant nearby again. read more

Excellent environment, nothing like a McDonald lol the other guy is a fool for even comparing. Chicken gyro here are amazing just say everything no fries and you'll have an excellent post workout meal. Portion is big enough for a full post workout meal. read more

First off..The ambiance , reminds me when ,I was sitting in my high lunch room ,it's cold and on inviting .. I rather go sit and eat ,at a local McDonald's.. The chicken gyros here ,are pretty good. I haven't really had anything else here ,to comment on , for the simple reason ,they a bit pricy and looking from the outside, make you wanna go somewhere else so.. If you don't mine , sitting down in a place ,that reminds you of your old High school cafeteria.. November 6th 515pm. I walk into the restaurant which was completely empty and as i walked into the restaurant, a man whom I thought was the owner which I found out in the end wasn't when I asked hi., he lliterally got out of his seat ran to me while I was walking in and told me no service. I told him I just wanted to order food to go. Just asked me to take a pic of the menu and escorted me back to the door out. I noticed 3 mins later people were walking in to order food with no problem . I immediately walked back in and ordered food with no problem this time. I asked the gentleman who escorted me out that why did he tell me it was closed and yet no service. He just nodded ohhh...and smiled..ibfelt as if I was racially profiled for being Hispanic. First of this place is expensive and the food portions make no logical sense. Spent 42$ for food just for myself, which consisted of a chicken platter and 2 orders of pork souvlaki. When someone says a platter I think one dish with a protein, salad and a starch. I got 5 take away dishes with everything separated. It's definitely a take home and eat meal cause it's just a lot. Pita bread was nothing special. If I was craving Greek and this was my only option maybe I'll try something else here but for the price I can't find value in it. The food tasted descent but it's nothing to die for. Standard Greek food, on the plus side it was fresh, chicken wasn't dry and pork wasn't over cooked. A standard platter at another place like king souvlaki is like 15-16$ compared to 22$. A protein on a stick is like 4-5$ not 8$. That's just my opinion. Place was clean and staff was friendly.
