    Fire Roasted Chicken Soup

It's been years since I've been to this place, more than 10 years for sure! Back then the buffet cost about 9-11 dollars, now it's 16-17 depending on what you order. You can choose the salad buffet with a drink and no protein and my option was the combo meal, it's the buffet with a side of chicken, and a drink. If you don't want the buffet you can just order a specialty salad or sandwiches. The salad buffet starts off with you choosing of iceberg lettuce, what looked like romaine lettuce with sliced almonds, and spinach. I got the iceberg and spinach and there were tons of toppings to add from: pieces of hard boiled egg, peas, cubed ham, garbanzos, red onion, jalapeños, croutons, bacon bits, olives, sunflower seeds, varieties of salad dressings, and unhealthy carb filled pastas. At the center is your soup station with 4 different kinds of soups, pizzas, baked potatoes, muffins or maybe cornbread, and a taco bar. The only kind of unhealthy thing I had was the "fire roasted chicken" soup. Well, after reading the ingredients and tasting the soup, it was basically chicken pozole without the spicy chile. Like seriously? They just Anglicized the name of chicken pozole to fire roasted chicken soup, give me a break (Insert my eye roll) and it was good! The grilled chicken breast I had was okay, it was good but too dry! It was overcooked! The waiter with hot biceps was nice and made sure our drinks were full. The place was clean and remodeled looking. I'll be back here and not wait a decade.

Should've taken a picture before I mixed it, but it looked too good for me to wait.

Yum-meeee! I had not been to a Souper Salad in a long time. Pleasantly surprised is an understatement. Every item on my plate wash fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and the place is clean, well worth the price. All I can add is looking forward to my next trip to East El Paso and bringing my husband along.

The business is open again. The salad, desert and bake potato bar are great! Good dressing and various lettuce selections.

We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu. A great finish to our meal. 10/10.

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The dish was visually pleasing and delicious. The flavor of the noodles was light. Often, the noodles in bibim kooksoo are drenched in sauce. These were prepared just right. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. They were served with a light kochojang sauce, and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are in town for the BTS concert. We regret that we will probably never get to eat here again.

Food was prepped quickly and I can't see any differences of spicy noodle between here and Korea. The egg inside of spicy noodle wasn't just regular boiled egg, it was soy sauce marinated egg with beef the same as well.
