Mediterranean Bowl

Excellent!! One of the best Grub Hub orders. The side greek salad super fresh and plentiful. The mediterranean bowl with gyro meat was outstanding. Fresh. Delicious and nicely presented.

Gyro Bowl with Beef ($13.25)

Greenbrae's Bon Air shopping center is evolving and suddenly features a plethora of places from which to fill your stomach quickly. With the addition of the newly opened Nick the Greek, this part of Marin adds a new fast food option which, in these parts, is not unwelcome. I was one of the hundreds who queued up on the day that this outpost was offering free food to all comers and waited about 90 minutes to order and be served. The staff was downright joyful and the attitude trickled through the line; waiting was fun, not a torturous act and they kept the queue satisfied by providing sample-sized offerings of their delicious Greek froyo for which I can easily envision returning. The menu is wide-ranging featuring gyros, souvlaki, salads, and bowls with protein choices of falafel, lamb, beef, pork, pork belly, and chicken. I changed my order 100 times while queuing but finally settled on a Gyro Bowl (normally $13.25) with choice of protein (beef). This proved to be a whole lot of value for the listed price. I can't pretend that Nick the Greek is competing in the area of classic Mediterranean fare. They are operating in the category of "fast food" and I got halfway through my Gyro Bowl before tiring of the fast-food taste, something I never do with more authentic fare. But as fast food fare goes? It's nice to have this category of fare represented. Nick the Greek is a great addition to Bon Air and should get a lot of traction from students at the nearby high schools. For me? With the exception of In n' Out or any taqueria I'm not big on fast food fare but I'm certain I'll be back for the froyo and for what is the only place I've ever found to offer up Diet Dr. Pepper as a fountain soda. Welcome to Greenbrae, Nick the Greek.

Super savory Falafel Pita, made vegan without the Tzatziki
Theart P.

Nick The Greek may be a chain restaurant but it has a nicer, locally owned feel to it in my opinion. The employees are very nice and the place is super clean. I'm really excited about the Falafel Pita (just remove the Tzatziki and it's vegan). It's really, really good and it's nice to have as a treat once in a while. They have pretty great french fries as well. Bon Center, where it's located, has plenty of parking so everything about an experience here is easy. We'll be back on a regular basis!

Froyo with baklava

Delightful addition to the neighborhood. Food is filling and delicious - chicken is tender and moist. Frozen yogurt with baklava and honey are a delightful treat! Their chicken souvlaki pita has an amazing sauce - highly recommend. Their bowls are more hearty and savory with more texture and variety, also recommend! Owner is a total sweetheart, and the staff have been going above and beyond to make the restaurant a warm and welcoming place. Also love that they're open late. With the exception of frozen yogurt (tough to beat Straus organic), Nick the Greek is 100x better than Souvla and I am sooo grateful they've opened up at Bon Air! Keep up the great work!

Beef & lamb pita gyro with fries on the side
Marie B.

Came by for the free meal on opening day. Had never tried Nick's food before, but now I'm a believer! Got a beef and lamb gyro that was delicious with a capitol D! Served hot, fresh, and tasty. Yum! The staff was working so hard, and everyone was really nice. Loved the ambiance of the place. Great seating choices. Already looking forward to coming back for the soup and falafel. Thanks Nick for lunch!

This is the best gyro/falafel Greek place in Marin. So happy they finally opened. Great fresh delicious and reasonably priced food, quick and friendly service, and easy location. And they're open late! Thanks for coming to Marin. I went Wednesday and had to go back for more on Thursday!

The gyro sandwich was standard in taste and generous in its portion of meat. Counter service was what I expected. The restaurant was clean.

Keivan, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and clearly passionate about making sure every guest has a great experience. The steak wraps were outstanding--packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and incredibly satisfying. Every bite was fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the food here. After trying the steak wraps, I already know I'll be back because now I want to try all the other dishes on the menu. If they're anything like what I had, this place is a winner across the board. Highly recommend Wrap N Kabob to anyone looking for amazing food and friendly service! I forgot to take a picture of the steak wraps but I'll repost when I go back to try all the other items.

I had a really frustrating experience at Wraps & Kebabs…read more I placed my order at the counter, but instead of putting it in right away, the employee helped two other customers and set my ticket aside. I ended up waiting about 10 minutes before I realized my order hadn't even been sent to the kitchen. After I moved seats, the employee noticed me and then finally handed my order to the cook. From there, I waited another 10+ minutes while the two customers who ordered after me got their food and left. When I asked about my order, I was told it would be another 5 minutes--at that point I had already been waiting close to 30 minutes for a simple meal. To make things worse, the staff started talking in Spanish assuming I wouldn't understand, saying I should've been told it would take 20 minutes. One of them even claimed he told me that--which was completely untrue. Long wait times happen, but poor communication and ignoring a customer's order is unacceptable. If it was going to take 20+ minutes, just say that upfront. Don't skip my order and then pretend I was informed. Definitely not a good experience, and I wouldn't come back.

It was the day before 4th of July so they were packed. I ordered a Tequila sunrise and my husband the fresh OJ. Both came fast and were excellent!! My first time trying eggs Benedict and it was made to perfection! Cooked with the yoke a little runny middle. I had to try it when it had chorizo and egg. Oh well, it had good flavor and I haven't been eating many veggies these days, so it worked out. The breakfast burrito was very good! The hot sauce that was served with it had a good amount of heat, and I really enjoyed it. The variety of fruit served with the burrito also pleasantly surprised me. I ordered a juice with my meal as well. When I called to order, the employee said they had recently renamed their drinks, so she listed off ingredients for a few of them and I just picked based off what she said was inside. The juice was good, but so small! I think it was around a 6oz cup; I was expecting more than that for the price. I also went into use the restroom when I picked up the ordered and employee glared at me, which I thought was weird. I guess he assumed I wasn't a customer and was just wandering in? Overall, good quality and tasty food. However, I do think the price point is a slightly higher than it should be.
