The leftover supposedly gluten-free wrap that was unusable
    Carl J.

This was the worst sandwich that I've ever had. first the Service. the servers making my sandwich did not give me my pickles. I asked for three pickles for three sandwiches and did not get any of them. I asked for a gluten-free wrap. The gluten-free wrap literally fell apart, and I could not use it and ended up putting it on regular (my own) sourdough bread. My wife can't eat cheese so I asked for her sandwich to be without cheese and there was cheese on it horrible experience. I did eat the sandwich, but if I can, I'll leave a picture of this wrap that was unusable. I'm just used to people who care about what the food looks like when they give it to someone and it did not look appetizing. I mean it's not supposed to look exactly like the picture, but it wasn't even close. I also asked for extra meat and if that was extra meat, I would hate to see what just regular meat was. I rarely give a one star they deserve zero stars.

    Cracked black pepper turkey
    Sylvia H.

The cracked black pepper turkey sandwich was delicious. It was jam packed with turkey and the bread was delicious. The bbq chicken flatbread, tasted better than it looked. Adding some cilantro would have made it taste even better. The wait, oh boy, the wait. The wait was not worth it. Not only were we waiting, so many people were waiting far too long for a sandwich. It took nearly 30 minutes and it's not because we ordered a flatbread. The sandwich was good but definitely not worth the wait. Location is nice being next to a park where you can take your sandwich and have a little picnic.

The food was great, but the wait for service and the lack of cleanliness told a very different story. It felt impossible to get timely attention, especially with the staff spread too thin to keep up.

Honestly, I probably would have never found this gem on my own. I saw it on the app, checked Yelp to see if it was legit, and wow, am I glad I did. This place makes incredible sandwiches and it's incredibly close to where I live. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I placed my order anyway. The food arrived in under 30 minutes and I was shocked--shocked--by the size, quality, and flavor. The moment I unwrapped the sandwiches, I felt like I had just time-traveled back to one of my all-time favorite sandwich spots in the country, Little Luca's in San Francisco. That's saying a lot. Their Sicilian sandwich is absolute perfection. A brilliant sauce, generous cuts of meat, and the option to add arugula or lettuce. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and downright delectable. Most places serve tiny little subs and call them Italian sandwiches. Not here. Olive Branch is the real deal. And the meatball sandwich? Incredible. Perfectly seasoned meatballs and a rich tomato sauce that wasn't too salty and soaked into the bread just enough to give it this beautiful buttery quality. I also tried their broccoli cheddar soup and was totally surprised. It actually had a homemade taste with generous, tender florets of broccoli. Not that watery stuff you find elsewhere--this was cozy, comforting, and real. The whole vibe of Olive Branch speaks to me. It's homemade. It's delicious. It's my new go-to sandwich shop. I can't wait to try all of their other sandwiches, their Italian wedding soup, and their salad selections too. This is proof that promotions really do work. I never would've found this spot without DoorDash and Yelp leading me there. Now I'm envisioning an illustrious sandwich partnership between me and the Olive Branch. Salute!

Why did I come here?…read more With a hunger for mediterranean and the worry that nearby Aria may be a bit too pricey for a quick meal, I brought my son out to The Pita Guys for some gyro or shawarma. What we found were limited options, higher than expected prices, less than helpful staff, and not the best of food. Being my first time, I had questions about the menu. The young pair behind the counter didn't seem to know what they were serving, as they kept looking at one another for guidance with little ability to give me much relevant info on anything other than what types or protein they had. Once I finally ordered, they started to taking and filling the orders of people behind me. It wasn't until a much older woman came in from the back before my own dinner started being prepared. Seriously, it was a pretty weird setup. The food was served Subway style, where they go down the line asking what you wanted added to your wrap. Shawarma meat is minced, staying warm in a tub, and scooped to order by a spoon resting in a bin of cloudy water. Not only did it feel a bit gross, but it also seemed that the bulk of the juice in the meat came from that watery spoon, as the shawarma I ate was very dry. When it came to my son's Shawarma Plate, the menu stated that it came with two sides. What they don't tell you is that the only choices on the 'sides' menu open to you are Hummus and a Salad. The much more desired sides of Falafel, Baba Ghanoush, or even kid friendly Fries, were not offered. Needless to say, my son ate his chicken and rice, but wouldn't touch his hummus. So, a Shawarma Plate and a Shawarma wrap ... dinner for two, not a ton of food, neither of us were all that impressed ... and it cost us over $40. Needless to say, with how everything tasted and what it took to get ... we won't be coming back. For the price it cost us, I think we'll stick with the far superior Aria up the street. Or, at the very least, try the Kebab Shop down the block.
