Food here has always been good! However the service I received today 11/20/2025 is sooo disappointing! I called in a fairly sized lunch order at 9:30am for pick up at 11:45am of the same day. While on my way to pick up my order the called and I was told they haven't started making it yet because they haven't received payment. They told me they sent a link for payment which they did, this link had no mention of the restaurant or anything. It simply was a link asking for payment. No receipt, no name... So of course I didn't click on the link. That being said the young woman at the register wanted to argue saying they sent me a link for payment which I proceeded to polite ask her when was the last time you clicked on a link asking for payment that had zero details on it. To make matters ever better I am presenting a safety meeting at my work, guess who is supplying the lunch, ME! So, needless to say I'm not happy at all. I politely asked them if they could mention that payment is needed over the phone to the next costumer to avoid this disaster. This was the worst sandwich that I've ever had. first the Service. the servers making my sandwich did not give me my pickles. I asked for three pickles for three sandwiches and did not get any of them. I asked for a gluten-free wrap. The gluten-free wrap literally fell apart, and I could not use it and ended up putting it on regular (my own) sourdough bread. My wife can't eat cheese so I asked for her sandwich to be without cheese and there was cheese on it horrible experience. I did eat the sandwich, but if I can, I'll leave a picture of this wrap that was unusable. I'm just used to people who care about what the food looks like when they give it to someone and it did not look appetizing. I mean it's not supposed to look exactly like the picture, but it wasn't even close. I also asked for extra meat and if that was extra meat, I would hate to see what just regular meat was. We had a very tight window between soccer games today (about 90 minutes), so to avoid problems we placed a catering order the day before and were explicitly assured it would be ready at 10:30 AM. We arrived around 10:45, and the order wasn't ready--fine, delays happen. The real issue was what happened next. There were four employees working, yet only one person was assigned to our large order, and unfortunately it was the slowest employee on staff. The other employees continued doing unrelated tasks: one stayed on the register, one worked on other customers' orders, one did prep work. Despite clearly explaining that we had to get an entire youth soccer team back to the field for their next game, no effort was made to reassign help or expedite the order. By the time we spoke up, the order was over 30 minutes late, and instead of understanding or problem-solving, we were met with poor attitudes, as if expecting an on-time, pre-ordered catering order was unreasonable. One employee even seemed irritated that we were complaining, completely missing that if someone had simply helped the sandwich maker, the order would have been finished much faster. Because of how miserable and stressful the experience was, I honestly can't even comment on the quality of the food. When you plan ahead, communicate clearly, and still get treated like the inconvenience, something is very wrong with the service. read more

Excellent customer service! I got a large Greek salad to do a few months ago and whoever made it really barely put anything in it and it was mostly lettuce. I decided to try again today and told them about this, and gave me the most amazing ginormous Greek salad. Plus a free drink and a free large sandwich! So very nice and kind. And it all was amazing. Well, I really had hoped giving this place another chance would be different, but unfortunately nothing has changed since my first review. My kids and I came in and ordered three pretty simple sandwiches, it took 25 minutes to get out take out order, and when we got home, the sandwiches were incorrect. My kids wouldn't even eat the sandwiches and we didn't have time to return to the shop to have them remade. I called to speak with the restaurant in hopes of getting a refund or a credit and was first told that the reason one sandwich didn't have avocado was because they ran out. However, one of the other sandwiches had avocado on it. And nothing was mentioned about them running out and we paid extra for the avo as well. Then I was told we just came at a busy time. There were lots of excuses and I was told they were unable to refund me. Finally the manager (who made the sandwiches himself incorrectly) indicated I could get a free order next time I was in but provided no follow up as to how I could ensure this would happen. I was the one following up with how he can ensure I get the free order next whether or not that happens is up in the air. This place really needs to train employees better. If they are too busy to make 3 sandwiches accurately in less than 25 minutes maybe they need more employees. read more

I had the chicken salad sandwich which is a more rustic version of a chicken salad, very light on mayo and more cranberry and light overall. The chicken was roasted which was nice and the bread was the highlight of the sandwich. We also had a caprese sandwich and that was pretty good -- nothing special, but a good caprese salad with all the right ingredients. We also had some chili ... which tasted very nice! However, it was awfully greasy/oily. So much so we didn't finish it because if that. Overall, we'd come back if we were ever craving a sandwich and were in the area. We love this place, salads and sandwiches are amazing. Service today took forever. The person who took my order was friendly. 8 customers, 1 to go order, over 20 minutes to get our order of 2 sandwiches. The manager called my name to pick up sandwiches, no eye contact or thank you. Told her a box was in front of the pick up that customers could trip on, she moved it again with no greeting or conversation. She looks like she just got out of bed at 130p. One staff member wore gloves to make a sandwich, then rang up a customer touching the register then back to making a sandwich all with the same gloves. Bread was a bit over done and condiments light. Food is always delicious here. I've had a few sandwiches and never let down. I recommend a hot sandwich, but just a recommendation. The service is great. Friendly and fast. Inside is calm and easy to talk to someone so if it's too cold or hot outside, inside is always a good option. They have seating inside and out and there is more parking than what it looks like from the road. I want to love this place. Their food is tasty however the service ruins it for me. I have come 3 times and each time there is no smile, no welcome, no thank you... nothing. Almost no eye contact. I always feel like i am disrupting them and 'putting them out' when i walk in to order. This last time i asked for some pepperoncinis... it was just handed over without an acknowledgement, smile or eye contact. The wait is also an issue. The first time it was a 30 min wait for 2 salads. It seems they are prioritizing the call in orders. In fact i was interrupted twice while trying to order by the owner taking a call while helping me. This last time we waited for about 20 mins, for 2 sandwiches, until we finally walked inside to find them sitting in the pick up area. This visit they decided to not call our name. Extremely Disappointing Experience at Sourdough & Co. I've always loved Sourdough & Co., but my recent visit was incredibly frustrating and left me questioning my own judgment. After not eating all day, I went in craving their grilled cheese and tomato soup, only to be told moments after sitting down that they had run out of tomato soup. I was understanding and asked for a refund for just the soup, intending to still enjoy my grilled cheese. The first employee I interacted with was kind and assured me it would be handled, but when his coworker (Sage) took over, things quickly went downhill. Sage's attitude was immediately dismissive, and she insisted I could only get a gift card or choose another soup, which I didn't want since I'm not a fan of the other options. I agreed to the gift card, but when it was processed, I noticed it was for $7--99 cents less than the cost of the soup. I wasn't about to make a fuss over that small amount, but it still felt off. Then came the grilled cheese. It was, honestly, one of the most disappointing sandwiches I've ever had--cold, underwhelming, and far from worth the price. My friend tried a bite and agreed it was terrible. I went back to the counter to ask for a full refund, but Sage was nowhere to be found, and the employee I'd been dealing with had to go get her again. When Sage finally returned, she told me I couldn't get a refund and seemed very uninterested in resolving the situation. The first employee wrote my name down on a napkin with marker telling me his manager would call me first thing in the morning (I knew that wouldn't end up happening and it didn't) so I made sure to get the names of both employees. To make matters worse, sage called me after I had left the restaurant, speaking to me in a condescending and rude tone, implying I was somehow in the wrong. I was still in the parking lot and could see her through the window giggling at the situation with 2 other customers after she put me on hold. She demanded I return the $7 gift card to get my refund, and I could sense she wasn't genuinely trying to help, but just trying to get rid of me. It felt like I was being treated like an inconvenience for simply asking for what I paid for. I've had good experiences here in the past, but this visit was a complete letdown. The service was rude, the food was subpar, and the entire situation left me feeling disrespected. I will definitely not be returning, and I'll be letting others know about this frustrating experience. I paid almost $20 for a meal I didn't even eat!
