Really quaint Ketichan bar. Games scattered throughout the bar like darts and lovely pictures of the old town. The bar tender was such a nice lady, she recommended local beers which were lovely. Nice little place to support a local spot!

The bar that has stood the longest in Ketchikan. Lots of history in this town and is a good location for sports as they have good TV's for this. A popular locals bar plenty of brews on tap. This was the last stop of the pub crawl. Super fun.

We popped in here after trying some of the other local bars (too smoky). Linda was super friendly and helped us with some recommendations. We enjoyed the sampler flight of Alaskan beers she made for us. Service was great and location was convenient.

This is a truly authentic watering hole in Ketchikan. It's not fancy. No Kombochi on the menu. Just house drinks and draft beer

BEST dive bar ever! I didn't fee like a tourist and locals were even buying us drinks! if someone rings the bell, they buy everyone drinks! crazy! lots of locals that seemed like were mostly fishermen coming in for their after a long day out on the water, drink. Prices were cheap and we loved the games that they had to keep us occupied. I loved all the pictures around the wall and read where they were taken and the year. I wish I had this place back in Atlanta. We were in Ketchikan for 15 days and we came here four times! The bartender is super friendly and remembered us by name, crazy! Yes, the reviews are good, that's because this place is great! It's not your typical cruise stop bar, go in and enjoy!!

Thank you for the hospitality Conner! We loved the experience! Can't wait to come back again. But "Please Keep It Down!!" Jk.

Good strong drinks. Quick and courteous service. Had a drink and a few shots and all were good.

Looking for a piece of local history? Check out the 90 year old Sourdough Bar. Lots to look at on the walls, from boat wrecks to record setting fish mounts. The best part of the visit was our bartender Connor. He was even keeled and entertaining. That says a lot considering we had a party of 12 drunk cruise ship tourists. Do yourself a favor and visit the Sourdough.

What a great place to kick back and drink and enjoy your friends. We have been here before and it's always busy with lots of locals and visitors. The drink are ice cold and the employees are super friendly. Try the Alaskan amber beer it's great and tell your friends how much fun this place is. We will make this a regular stop.

Just about the perfect location for this bar, right next to the cruise port! Walked in during the football game and seating at the bar was available. The 4 of us were greeted and served cold beverages as we enjoyed the game. Pool tables in the back and really cool nostalgic photos of ships! Bartender was very friendly and attentive to us and other guests. Very reasonable prices! We recommend!

We were here on an Alaska cruise in May. Sourdough was the friendliest bar we visited. Good place to spend a drippy day.

What a blast! This was our favorite tour of the entire cruise…read more We met Cullen at The Mill in Ward Cove. He transported our small group to Downtown Ketchikan while giving us a rundown of the facts and colorful history of the area. As we were passing McDonald's, we just had to ask if there was a dollar menu. Nope. However, they do have a value meal for $18. All of it was surprising to me. Even traveling around Alaska by air can be challenging. We were introduced to Hamish when arriving at our first pub stop in front of The Asylum. We couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. He was awesome! He gave us such great details about the pubs we were visiting as well as the history of Ketchikan. All while enjoying our drinks. We even had a few shots along the way. This tour led us to 3 historical (and very popular) bars: The Asylum, Artic Bar, and Sourdough Bar. I liked them all, but my absolute favorite was The Asylum. The owner is very upbeat & passionate about his bar. That's truly what makes it unique. Although, I will say that the Bear Scat at the Sourdough is right up there with the Duck Fart. Haha!! We also learned a little more about Hamish at the Arctic Bar. He's a popular guy, and an Alaskan native (born & raised). His roots may be Scottish, but he had some really great local stories to tell. I won't ruin it for you. Just take the tour. You won't be sorry.

Had the best time with Corndog learning about the local bars and the history of the town and…read moreculture. He took time to make sure everyone had a great time and that their questions were answered! Would definitely do it again!!
