    Mint chocolate chip frozen custard

A uniquely tasty treat! Outside the city limits, a wonderfully rare experience awaits anyone who loves dessert! Locally referred to as simply Nana's, this drive up diner offers a fun, yummy new option for after dinner any day of the week.

    Lots of yummy choices!

The big sign on the building that says "Nana's Frozen Custard confused us initially, as we were looking for Sourdough Cuppa Joe. As we pulled in we noticed the much smaller sign out front. If you've never been here, look for Nana's! Very nice and clean with extremely friendly staff. The smile never left the face of young lady assisting us and she was patient as we asked a lot of questions. She gladly provided samples of the custard as well. I have the Cappuccino Crunch. Vanilla custard with toffee bits, a shot of espresso all mixed. Yum. My wife had the Reece's River: custard served in a "boat" with a base of mocha chocolate, peanut butter, covered with Reece's Pieces and topped with 2 peanut butter cups. Both were very nicely presented and tasted absolutely wonderful. They also have all kinds of coffee products made to order and baked goods like scones to accompany your coffee if desired. Worth a trip and highly recommend you swing by.

You know when you walk up to the counter somewhere and the employee says anything to you? They just kinda wait for you to make the first move? That's what happened here. The women behind the counter didn't seem thrilled to be helping my friend and I but we both ignored it and kept on moving. We asked about a few baked goods and the woman answered. We ordered. I told her I wanted a muffin and she answered back "a scone?" I had to repeat myself. It was an odd exchange and maybe she was having an off day but it was never rectified. I waited almost ten minutes to get my iced tea and my friend waited even longer for her pour over. They weren't super busy and I'm really left confused by what the heck just happened. I noticed there was a drive through. The place looks like an old diner and actually has two signs up-one being their name and one is something else. They have several baked goods options and both mine and my friends muffin and scone-were good. Side note there's a longer table (it's a door lying on its side) that were sitting at when a man in a wheelchair with a woman I'm assuming is his wife came in. He had a shirt on that said he was a veteran, but that's beside the point. I'm just sayin that of COURSE if someone in a wheelchair comes in you make accommodations where and when and how you can. My friend and I immediately started moving our things and said hey you guys can sit here if you'd like we are taking up too much space anyway. They sat down. Before leaving the woman said hey thank you for moving your things for us. We come in here all the time and you're only the second person to help us find a comfortable spot to sit. So-public service announcement. Pull your head out of your you know what, people! Look around. Say hello. Make accommodations when you see a need. Go out of your way. Say thank you. Be a good human. That's all I have to say about that.

I love this place!!!! Yesterday I had the Apple Blossom and Ham & Gouda Panini today. Both were wonderful. Today I had the cinnamon roll and got a fresh loaf of sourdough bread. The crew inside are the best!!!!

In the old yogurt place location. Not much seating on the inside but that's ok. You can do walk-up if you'd like. They have a good selection of coffee and drinks. The food items are pretty decent too. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop. You can also grab your coffee on the way to work from here too! Give 'em a go! It may be your cuppa Joe!

Took a nice morning drive to check this place out. It's pretty neat inside an old walk-up drive in restaurant. The interior is nice and inviting. There were two people ahead of me and there were two people working inside while one of their co-workers rested on a bench out front. It took a minute or 3 to work through the two customers ahead; mostly it looked like processing through a discount they had. I ordered a small coffee and muffin. I waited longer than I expected for a basic order; the employee did apologize for the wait and kept me informed of the status. Outside of the service being slow the employee was very pleasant. The coffee was tasty as was the muffin, they make their bakery items in-house. Overall positive experience.

    Cookie n cream and vanilla

Passing by we came across this little hidden gem- so we went through the drive thru and ordered up some milkshakes and cones. I got the cookies and cream and vanilla on a waffle cone. Service is slow go here and hubby got the chocolate milkshake, I told him not because of the reviews on the chocolate. We are literally sitting here waiting for them to be made or scooped out....still waiting....ugh... Ok. Here they are!! I paid $4.49 for this cone? And $5.99 for this milkshake? Priceyyy. They charge by weight, ounces The chocolate was bland, as stated in the previous reviews. DON' T get the chocolate, its missing the chocolate factor. The cookies and cream is filmy, it leaves a film in your mouth. The vanilla is spot on good- GET the vanilla!! Its good. The waffle cones are good and crunchy. Overall, stick with the vanilla.

Ice Cream (custard) treats are great, I like to pair the vanilla with a warm cinnamon roll! Cinnamon rolls are very large shareable.

I wasn't even expecting to get anything. When I walked in though, I tried a spoon of the key lime flavor they had at the time. I expected it to taste like key-lime-flavored-ice-cream but it tasted like a scoop full of key lime PIE The texture even felt like pie because there were delicious hunks of graham crust inside. I was converted. BUT, even more importantly, this shop is run by passionate people. The second time we went in was weeks or even a little over a month later and they remembered us. They gave us a pup cup for my boyfriend's dog while he waited outside with him and they were so helpful and patient with me and his mom. We were indecisive and might have been hard to communicate with because we struggled through our decision making process in Spanglish. She was trying in both languages to explain to me what she wanted but my help wasn't needed at all because the people at Scoop got the gist of what flavor she was craving (rum and raisin) and did their best to come up with something adjacent. She loved it! I so appreciate the kind people at Scoop. "Son muy atentos" y "bien nice."

I never did try one, so I was delighted when Crispy Cones popped up in my search for a dessert one afternoon and the "trdelnik" entered back into my life for a try. First thing when you enter, you're warmly greeted by some of the friendliest staff. If it's your first visit, they give you an overview and answer your questions. The process was to place your order on their order kiosk. Choose your cone type (or cup), your spread (peanut butter, Nutella, or cookie butter), your soft serve flavor(s), and your topping(s). You then pay via card only at the order kiosk (no cash) and give a phone number for a digital receipt. A few minutes later, your name is called and you collect your order. I ordered the traditional cone with cookie butter spread, chocolate vanilla swirl soft serve, Heath bar topping, and caramel sauce ($8.30). The cones are definitely the star of the show here! Slightly crispy pastry cone with a cinnamon sugar crust and the cookie butter spread with Heath bar topping packed inside made the soft serve more delightful. The soft serve itself wasn't anything grand and was reminiscent of soft serve you'd get at a buffet for dessert. Perhaps order whatever their specialty flavors soft serve is for a more flavorful soft-serve? Nonetheless, it was still a pleasant experience, with friendly staff, and a very clean place.
