This is a new Piece O' Pizza for us. It is just as goo as the one we usually go to. We called and picked it up and it was ready and hot. The service was great on the phone and at pick up. There was no wait at all. The place is clean and cute. It is small. They have great traditional NY pizza and the prices are fair. They also have some great pastas that we got to share. I love all of their pastas. They also have salads, but not a huge selection. Parking is easy and again, there really is no wait, unless you just walk in and they have to make your pizza. They make each pizza fresh with good ingredients and wonderful toppings. You will like this place. It is not fancy and it is not artisan pizza, it is just great, especially for the price. read more

There are some really good pizza places in the South Bay but sometimes you just want one slice. So when I saw that piece of pizza sells by the slice, I went for it after seeing their reviews. They have no price on their menu for what a slice costs. I ordered it anyway and to my surprise the slice of pizza was $6. Soda was $3. Total was $13 w tax and tip. For that price I was expecting a big slice or at least a very delicious pizza. It was neither. See photo. I'm driving up to Hermosa next time where I know I can get a great slice at Paisano's. This pizza could not have been more bland. And even if it was a $4 slice, I wouldn't come back. Sorry guys. Very nice people but you won't stay afloat much longer with these better pizza places bringing competition. I hope you can adjust. read more

I went to Yelp looking for an authentic Italian pizza. Thin crusty crust with burnt edges from a pizza oven, dollops of mozzarella and a smattering of basil . This pizza had a ton of cheese, thick spongy crust and basil all over it. After visiting Italy last fall, I'm spoiled. I want real pizza. This was not it. First thing we noticed was the expansive menu - not just pizza, but pasta, salads, sandwiches, even chicken fingers for the fussy kids, plus dessert options - compared to other nearby places I'd say triple the options are available to appease your hankerin' for Italian! The pizza was good, not huge portion sizes as other have also noted. We tried carbonara pasta and the Del Rey - carbonara was quite good while the Pasta Del Rey seemed a bit lacking in overall flavor - but the pasta was cooked nicely. We also ordered a pastrami sandwich and a Philly Steak Hoagie - but somehow we ended up with just two Philly's... a bit disappointing but it was quite good for a philly made in SoCal... DO NOT GO HERE. I'm Never going back. The pizza dough tasted like it was from the frozen section at a grocery store. They are big penny pinchers. I gave them 2 tries and both times they showed their cheap greed. First time I tried them, i had a coupon for a dollar off and then noticed the charge was full price which the person working there (which seemed like the owner) claimed they forgot to add the discount right after I gave him the coupon, seemed odd but I let it go. This time I ordered a pizza online with one topping and asked for half mushroom half green peppers in the notes. They put half mushroom and half nothing. I told them they forgot the topping on the other half and was told I only Paid for 1 topping. So instead of putting the topping I paid for on all of the pizza or calling me to ask me before making the pizza, they put it on half to scam the customer and save a few pennies. Shameful.
