    Buffalo Wings

This spot is a hidden jewel in the PV Promenade. It is a quaint pizza and Italian restaurant where the food is fresh! The pizza is made in a wood-fire grill--you heard me, a wood-fire grill. The pizza crust is tasty, fresh, and cooked to delectable perfection. The sauce is delish, too. The pizza is a 10 out of 10! The meatballs are tasty, flavorful, and juicy, and the hot wings are also great. For the multiple things our party ordered, everything was amazing. The service is just as amazing! The hospitality here is excellent. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday here with a group of 30 people, and our accommodations were more than met. The owner, Jay, is genuine and makes you feel like family. Fernando was super attentive and friendly. It was great service all around!

    Meatball app. $8.95, worth it.

Ok came here a week ago for a late lunch. Did not order one of the specials which seem to be pretty good. Wanted to sample the menu. The Boston themed 12" only pizza place that precedes this new business was a fail. Hoping this is an upgrade. Tried the following: Small Caesar Salad 5 stars Two slices of cheese pizza 4 stars Two meatball appetizer 5 stars Sausage & pepper app 2 stars Service 4 stars + Caesar was excellent and I've had over a 100 of them from various establishments. $6.95 for a small that was still big enough to share. Excellent chilled lettuce and dressing was legit with only a hint of anchovy. Pizza was an ok size but overheated in the warm up as the sauce was basically almost gone and cheese over zapped. I think a whole pie is the way to go. Plus only slice option was cheese. Meatball appetizer was pretty good. Two big meatballs with nice flavor albeit a bit firm for $8.95. Sausage and peppers were a no go. Peppers were way too aldante and sausage was way over cooked. Quality of sausage was nice but this should be removed from the menu. $11.95 is not a good price for this. Sausage needs to be slow cooked for couple of hours in sauce to achieve the right texture. Improve it or remove it. Would recommend soda fountain drink options as opposed to buying a bottle or can from a glass fridge. We will come back and try a couple other items. Like that they have some specials.

    Spinacotta pizza with chicken

Popped in with a friend after work around 5 on a Friday afternoon and tried the Spinacotta pizza with chicken. The flavors boasted freshness and good ingredients. Servers and cashier were each friendly, greeting us upon arrival. The restaurant and restroom were clean with a few patrons at two other tables. I'd visit again to try another pie when I'm in the area.

A good add to the hill. The inside is pretty casual, order at the bar type of spot. We got the garlic knots and bbq chicken special pizza. I thought the bbq chicken was really good. If you're looking for quick, takeout or casual dining pizza, this is a good choice.

Got the large pepperoni with mushroom (add $3.00) pizza. What I really liked about this pizza was the crust. Some pizza places have a crust that tastes like french bread, crackers or are just too mushy/doughy. TMWK is a thin crust pizza with the right consistency. They're are located close to El Pollo Inka. Service was very friendly.

2 Meatballs with cheese promised missing - image on website shows 4 meatballs

To: Terramia Wood-fired Pizza, We visited your Palos Verdes location because of the positive things we'd heard about Terra Mia. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with both the food and how our concern was handled. The online menu displays a photograph showing four meatballs for the House Made Meatballs appetizer, yet only two were served. We politely mentioned that the photo was misleading, but instead of acknowledging the discrepancy, we were told we'd have to be "stupid" to expect four meatballs for $8.50. Plus the pizza and meatballs (missing cheese) were cold when I picked them up at the designated time - Friday, July 3rd, 6 pm. We understand portion sizes vary, but menu photographs should accurately reflect what customers receive. More importantly, customers should never be insulted for asking a reasonable question. We hope you'll update the menu image or clarify the portion size so future guests aren't similarly disappointed, and improve your customer service,

New Pizza Place Open in the Promenade, in the place of the old Red Brick Pizza. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Booths and tables available inside. Everything was delicious and extremely fresh. Service was fast and so friendly! This place is a much needed addition to the Promenade. We will definitely be back, this place earned more than 5 stars for me!

At first, they seemed organized as they called out names for pick-up and the flow was going. However, once our 70 minutes passed, we moved inside so we wouldn't miss our order. We checked in and finally got our food. The pizza seemed to be missing lots of pepperoni, but we didn't want to complain because we were so hungry. The wings were disappointing--bloated and soggy. To top off the chaos, a guy walked in while we were eating, and the staff shouted out the name "Brett." He looked amazed that they "knew him", anyway they handed him the order without checking the system. Ten minutes later, he came back saying he had the wrong pizza because it had pineapple. Meanwhile, a frustrated woman was waiting for her pineapple pizza, and the real Brett was outside drinking a beer! "Random Brett" had just come out of nowhere and was given the wrong order. Every mistake was given a "10-minute fix" estimate. The cashier was explaining to t the kitchen that she's getting yelled at by customers for all the blunders, and while there were five people working in the kitchen when we arrived, only one gal was left by the time we were eating. Someone even came in from next door asking for a manager, but none was present. Get it together, guys! You have a good thing going with the pizza, but the service was a mess and the wings were not good.

I have never eaten at this location before; if I had a previous experience with the brand, it has been more than 15 years. I think this brand's differentiator is that you can choose an unlimited combination of toppings. On this occasion, I ordered a "mini pizza" with one topping ($11.09) and a fountain drink ($3.59). With tax, my ticket was $16.11, before gratuity. The pepperoni mini-pizza is sized for an individual and is sliced into four pieces. I asked for them to prepare it "house style". The positive is that the crust was very thin; and it was crisp. The amount of sauce was appropriate; and if you like a sauce that has a bit of "tang" to it, then you'll be pleased. But for a place that allows unlimited application of toppings, I felt the amount of pepperoni applied to this pie was spare. And herein lies the conflict: For what I received, I feel the pizza was overpriced. If there is value, it probably happens when you're allowed to choose your toppings. At the same time, the crust is very thin; I don't see how much the foundation can support if topped excessively. The in-store seating is clean and reasonably comfortable. The service was better than ok.

Just for context, it was my niece's high school graduation. A day to celebrate, turned into something that made me want to write this review. We came in around 730pm, a group of 10 that had an 8pm reservation. We were hoping to get seated early but didn't expect it if it wasn't available. No biggie, but 2 large groups went in ahead right when they were going to give us the menus and the other parties got in first. Didn't really start the right way already. But moving on. We were seated outside (we didn't request a specific inside/outside) so no expectation, but the patio was cold and we asked for a heater (which they had in view) and another party requested the drapes to be opened (which is fine) but we could've used the heater and it didn't come for another 30mins. When the heater did come, it wasn't turned on for a long while and when it did get turned on, it was blazing hot and we asked a staff to turn it down. The guy turned it off. All in all it was yet again another interesting interaction. Then comes the ordering, the restaurant has daily specials and the regular menu. The waiter went around and described the specials and when we asked about the prices (the regular menu had prices) the waiter said it was a secret. Maybe it was an attempt to be humorous, but after clarifying we wanted to know the prices the waiter asked which one and had a weird reaction to our question. It was all awkward and came off very off-putting. One of the water glasses had a bug in it and we asked for a replacement. Twice. The waiter didn't replace it for along time and then he said he didn't know we were asking for a replacement. The water glass that was put in as a replacement had fingerprints, and smears on the glass and at that point we didn't want to bother. We showed it to the waiter and he was apologetic and said they ran out of glasses. (Does that mean they're giving us dirty glasses bc they ran out?) We ordered a couple of items and I think there was a misunderstanding on the order and they brought out something that we mentioned we wanted but ultimately didn't order. A busser put put the calamari on the table and we told them we canceled it. The busser graciously took it away but the waiter put it back on the table. We told him we didn't order that and he actually argued with us that we did order it. He smirked when he took it away. We ordered items and the food started coming in after 40mins. (It was busy so understandable). But it was important to note that we ordered pretty quickly and our dishes came so late while other tables next to us had their food served quicker. We didn't order anything that requires elaborate time to prepare. When the food did come, the pizza came out cold but at that point we were just done with the place. They did comp the pizza, and told me that I should've said something so they can reheat the pizza. But the culmination of our experience overall really made us not even try to call the waiter. Some of the items were decent, but it is really hard to appreciate the food when the service felt like the food was served with a side of rude. Overall it was a pretty horrible experience and would never recommend this place.
