I went this past week for my first time for an exam and cleaning. Everyone was friendly and approachable. The office was clean and everyone was professional. If I could come with any criticism, it would be that they were running late and I had my initial exam / x rays first then went back into the waiting area to wait for another 45mins before my cleaning which I thought was unusual. Other than that, everything was great. I went there for Zoom! Whitening the next day which came out well. IT was quick, easy, and painless. I highly recommend it. read more

Best dentist i have ever experienced! I hate going to the dentist very much, but this place is friendly and very help full if you have any questions or concerns about your dental health. Yes Dr. Osorio is very funny and helped make light of the fact that i was getting my teeth drilled and caped.... I recommend dental insurance for this place though, as with everything in the financial district it expensive. I've been going to Osorio Dental for 15 years. Dr. Hinenoya is not so much a dentist as he is a God. The man has the most talented hands and he is well schooled in his skills. As a child, the ill named Dr. Buddie of Hingham who was anything but a friend tortured me. The man had hands the size of canned hams and when he went to insert them in my mouth he did so as if he were removing the transmission from a 1955 Chevy. Dr. Hinenoya has fingers that dance around cavities. His crowns are a work of art. His secret techniques saved my brother a trip to the Mass General where an oral surgeon was all gunned up to remove his teeth with a jackhammer. If you want the best work in the world, Hinenoya is your man. When it comes to cleanings, Ruth has hands that are just as good. It is my belief that all hygienists and dentists go to school. But a few, a very, very small group, have a gift that can't be taught. You can call it good hands. You can call it the healing touch. You can call it whatever you want. But if you want to go into your old age with the teeth in your head, you will call Dr. Hinenoya. He is the best of all time. read more

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Osorio for several years. After trying a dentist closer to where we live and having several bad experiences, I decided to listen to my husband's recommendation. I should have listened sooner! My first appointment was last week for the initial exam and teeth cleaning. The dental hygienist, Ruth, was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I would definitely recommend her. Dr. Osorio is amazing! I broke a tooth over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend and today, Dr. Osorio put on a temporary crown. Not only does he do great work, he also does it quickly! His skill and efficiency must be recognized! I value my time as much as anyone else, and Dr. Osorio sets the bar for working quickly and effectively while also maintaining a rapport! Somehow he manages to engage in conversation and get to know you while doing great work quickly. If you are unhappy with your dentist or do not have a dentist, call Dr.Osorio's practice. Dr Osorio and his staff are great. I had not been to the dentist in years (being in school, no insurance, etc), and they made a nerve-wracking experience a pleasurable one. Dr O was very upfront with the issues he saw in my mouth, gave me the RIGHT treatment plan that I needed, and did not try to push procedures on me that I didn't need. He and his team are committed to making sure their patients have a healthy regimen and that they are on the path of having a healthy mouth. I was a frequent flyer in his office for the last few months, but I always left feeling comfortable and knowing what was coming next. Any billing/insurance questions or concerns I had were able to be asked/addressed on the spot. A wisdom teeth procedure, and quite a few fillings later - I'm oddly excited to go for my cleaning. I chose this office because its close to work, but I would travel from home (6 miles in the other direction) or anywhere to have an appointment here. read more

My husband and I have been to Osorio for several appointments now and overall we've had a good experience! Booking appointments is easy and the location is super convenient for those who work downtown. My only minor suggestions would be: 1) The reception staff could be a bit more friendly and warm/welcoming, 2) The dentists seem kind of hit or miss in terms of how much time they will spend chatting with you and answering questions. Some of the ones we have seen appear to be in a hurry to get to the next patient. With that being said, definitely request Dr. Edward Wysocki or Dr. Chiara Castellucci - they are both absolutely wonderful! Both of them are incredibly kind, understanding and knowledgeable. Also, the dental assistant, Adriana Vildoza, is very sweet and also puts me at ease! read more

Seriously one of the greatest experiences at the dentist I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. Before Dr. Osorio, I was a nervous wreck when it came to things as simple as a cleaning, but Dr. Osorio and his friendly staff & assistants have made the dentist a wonderful experience for me now. A little background on my dental procedure: apart from getting my cleanings here I also went through a few procedures this summer replacing my worn down, broken and crooked front tooth. In the simplest terms, I got a veneer replacing my ugly front tooth without needing Invisalign or veneers on all my teeth (things that were suggested by my other dentists in the past). With dental insurance this procedure was half the cost and time of what Invisalign would have been. Dr. Osorio is truly talented, quick and knowledgable in his craft and I honestly couldn't be happier. He was so quick and skilled that even the local anesthesia part (which horrified me in the past) was relatively painless, and I didn't even realize what was happening until my face was numb for the procedure. The office is a 10-15 minute Uber away from the South End (worth it), it's super clean and very welcoming. The assistants are all super nice and so are the staff. Mil gracias!!! read more

I found the front desk extremely helpful when there was a problem with my insurance but I can't return because I found Dr. Osorio extremely rough. Just from my page you can see I visit a lot of dentists but I just could NOT get over how beaten to a pulp I felt after going here for a crown. Among other things, when he was preparing the tooth for the crown he did this technique where he pushed some sort of wire under my gum. I have never had that done before and after looking it up it seems that isn't even used by most dentists. That was painful afterwards for days. read more

When hygienist Ruth Hermida handed me the mirror to look at my teeth I could not believe my eyes. I'm still in shock and I can't stop looking in the mirror. She did an AMAZING job cleaning my "previously" stained teeth! My teeth are white and beautiful just like they were ten years ago! Yay! I'm so happy! read more

If I were rating based on the dentist alone, this would be 5 stars, but I'm rating on my overall experience here, which turned into a nightmare. Dr. Osorio is fabulous- like others have said, he's a hoot and makes going to the dentist not so bad. What will keep me from ever returning is the horrible customer service at the front desk. I had major problems with a bill at this office and made many attempts to resolve the issue with both the office and the insurance company. My calls were completely blown off by the office staff, and when I finally got through to someone, they were incredibly brusque and accused me of threatening the staff! Almost funny, but really bothersome to have my character questioned in such a way, especially since that is not my style what-so-ever. Even Dr. Osorio is not worth this hassle. read more

I want to echo the concerns raised about Watkin-Osorio's business practices. I went there for several years, and for the most part I thought they were okay. It was always a struggle to get them to explain my treatment plan to me (my mouth is a mess; thanks, Mom's gene pool!), but I muddled along with them anyway. One day I broke a tooth and ended up having to get it pulled. While I was all drugged up in the chair and bleeding profusely from the giant hole in my gum, the dentist treating me - not my usual guy; this was a different one - told me he was going to "put in some material" to "fill in the hole." What he did not tell me was that he was giving me a bone graft, a procedure not covered by the majority of dental insurance plans, my own included. Months later, Watkin-Osorio hit me with an $1800 bill for the procedure. I wrote them a lengthy letter explaining why I should not have to pay for a procedure that was not estimated, explained, or discussed. They took me to court. The office manager who was there representing Watkin-Osorio could not even look me in the face. When we got in front of the magistrate she flat-out admitted that I was right and they were wrong, but said that the dentist wouldn't back down. Given that I still have the bone graft in my mouth I agreed to settle, but if I'd pushed it I probably would have won the whole thing. I talked to another dentist about what had happened and she was horrified. She said that every dental practice knows that those procedures are typically not covered, and that they should never have done the work without giving me a treatment plan, and estimate, and a discussion of my options. p.s. My mouth is still a disaster. read more

I've been going to Watkin-Osorio for 10+ years and have found them to be excellent. In my experience my treatment has been conservative, which is what I want. I have never been pushed into an un-needed treatment. They did suggest that I come more frequently for my cleaning and it was a good recommendation. What I especially like is that it's one-stop-shopping for dental care. I had my first root canal there and I didn't have to go to some new, strange office. I was terrified beforehand. The women at the front desk were really supportive and reassuring. It turned out I didn't feel a thing!!! The dentist was excellent. Fast and it didn't hurt. They also have 24/7 emergency care. When I needed the root canal - the tooth went in the middle of the weekend - I called them and got a call back from the dentist within 15 minutes! . I've been very happy with my care at this practice and have sent 6 or 7 of my friends there. My schedule can get complex sometimes and the front office is very good finding me an appointment. They've been great dealing with my quirky insurance company too. By the way, the English accent on the telephone is real. The wife of one of the dentists made the recording and she has that accent. What's wrong with people who have an accent? Okay, they may sound like they weren't born in Boston but as long as they're not a Yankees fan, who cares? LOL read more

I'm new to the Osorio Dental group but after my experience today, I wanted to review! I have had a few dentists over the years and though I'm generally not anxious with dental procedures, my last dentist always made me feel crumby after I left. I also felt like I was always shelling out more money than I thought I would (replacing filings, braces, etc -- though who knows - they may have all been necessary which could certainly be a possibility). Regardless, my lack of "love" for my last dentist resulted in me not going to the dentist for an embarrassingly long stretch of time... I got the name of Dr Wysocki from my coworker who goes to Osorio and I decided enough was enough and I made the change. Getting the appointment was super easy and everyone has been so nice thus far! I went in for my cleaning a week or so ago and inevitably, I needed some work done on some spots that had been neglected in extended absence :( My only issue with dental procedures is the Novocaine - I find it so painful. I'm 100% fine with needles and shots. Just hate Novocaine. I was stressing my appointment today knowing I'd be getting a few fillings. Dr. Wysocki was FANTASTIC! I barely felt anything. He's also super nice and very thorough in his explanations. The whole thing took an hour and I was as calm as a cucumber the whole time. (Diana is also great!) Thank you Osorio Dental Group and especially Dr Wysocki! So far you've been so great! read more

Lucky I'm giving them two stars only because they "tried" to help. I had an appointment for months in advance here- it's a lot for me to fit doctor's appointments during my work schedule. I finally came in for a 3:30 appointment and wasn't seen at all. I come in and the lady at the front desk was very nice, a little aloof, but kind. They tried telling me I had no insurance policy for my appointment, and when they tried calling the insurance company, they were on hold and couldn't see me. While i realize that this isn't completely their fault (although considering I made this appointment MONTHS in advance they had plenty of time to confirm with me that they could take my insurance so that no ones time was wasted) I felt like I was unwanted there, and the dental hygienist and other receptionist kept looking at me funny and whispering to themselves while looking disengaged on their cell phones. The actual dentist was in his office behind the reception with the door open and didn't even have the audacity to come out and say hello, but instead, continued to look at his phone and drink a green smoothie. I imagined a dentist cleaning my teeth with green s*** in between his own. He waltzed across the reception area eventually and made a slight glance at me, asked "whats going on" to the reception team, then returned to his desk. I found him pompous and rude. A lot of time had passed, maybe an hour, and he eventually told them to tell me go away because he had things to do after work. Really?? Did we all have to waste over an hour of our lives to just come to that conclusion? It blew my mind that when the reception ran my insurance, after I gave her all the information I possibly had, that she pulled up my expired insurance from 2007.... when I was 12. I have dental coverage from my current employer and I thought it was pretty straight-forward. No solution was found. I left, and I won't be coming back. Customer service is SO important. Not much to say - Dr. Osorio is really funny and a great dentist. The hygienists here are also great. I think they specialize in cosmetic dentistry as well, if that's up your alley. Dr. Edward Wysocki is a top-notch dentist. After I fell ill, he correctly diagnosed the ailment. To confirm his diagnosis, he consulted with his dental school teacher. His diagnosis has permanently improved my entire body health, in addition to my teeth and gums. Here's why: Seeing not only my mouth sores, but also my red eyes, Dr. Wysocki sent me to Walgreens to buy Theratears eye drops, which he said would reduce my pain. Next to the bottle I found Theratears Nutrition. I started taking Theratears Nutrtion daily. After 15 months, both my mouth and my eye ailments are gone. I can see more clearly. In addition, the three hygienists who have cleaned my teeth have all done a careful job. I am blessed to be a patient of Osorio Dental Group. read more

I have been coming to this dentist for ten years (since I graduated from BU) and have found every cleaning and exam to be a pleasure. They always take me on time, tell me about my tooth configuration with xrays and diagrams, chat while cleaning and scoot me out the door back to work after a check in with the doctor. Being a patient for 10+ years I can definitely give this office 5 stars and would give more if I could! Over the years I have recommend many patients - when you find a good dentist it's worth spreading the news. Most would not look forward to their cleanings, but I very much have grown attached to the office staff, my hygienist Jeanine and Dr, Watkins. This team makes the difference. In addition to cleanings every 6 months, I also had MTM (highly recommend!!! like Invisalign) which required more frequent visits. I have been a patient of Dr. Hinnenoya for over 8 years and I love him, he's amazing all my dental work is impeccable. But his assistant(the girl with the bun) is very rude and when you ask her dental things,she replied sarcastically she seems as if she hates her job. The question can sounds stupid for her but I don't know anything about dentistry and I should be answer with respect as wherever may sound stupid to you may not be common sense to others. And I'm sure I'm not the only patient that complaints my coworker who is also a patient was telling me the same thing. That's the reason why I'm giving you guys 1 star. I had the best experience here and would recommend this dentist office to anyone. They are honest with you and they do not pressure you to do anything you aren't interested in doing. In the past at other dentists offices I would hear that I need braces, a night guard, teeth whitening etc., but at Osorio they would get a feel for what I expected in my dental health and they didn't pressure me to do any of these things. The cleaning was great and the hygienist was very informative. She explained any issues or problem areas that I had and she explained exactly what I needed to do to fix those problem areas.
