We had someone else out previously that "fixed" it, but actually did more harm than good with the work that he did. Jordan patiently explained all that had to be done, and gave us a few different scenarios and pricing of depending on what he found as he dismantled and tried to fix the spa. Access to the repair area was extremely tight and difficult which made his job even harder. Of course, it turned out to be the worst case scenario; despite the price we decided to fix it. (the alternative would have been a new spa) Due to the fact that we were in no huge rush to fix it, Jordan patiently worked on it after a full day of work for over a week. He was patient, respectful and professional. After a week of work, her finally got her up and running. I'm sure this job ended up being much more difficult than he had anticipated....but he did a great job fixing it. I would highly recommend Jordan to anyone requiring repair of their inground or aboveground spa's.

Mo and Bijan said they would come out the next day and diagnose for the cost of a one hour service call, but that they would apply the cost of the service call toward the repair if I have them do it. I said OK. They came out, met my wife at the house, diagnosed the problem, and were able to do the repair during that service call with a part they had on the truck. Total cost: $135.00. Saved me $900.00. My wife said they were super helpful and friendly. Guess who I'm calling next time? Thanks guys!!!

First American Home Warranty sent Mo. Short version is he never fixed the problem after a few tries. We eventually just dealt with it after being overly frustrated with the service we got. So last week we tried again. Sadly, First Am sent us Mostafa again. Who failed before. This time he came out not to fix, but to "diagnose and report back." He reported we don't have a required check valve, know in that "missing parts" is an automatic denial from the home warranty company. The problem? 1. A check valve is NOT required (only recommended), which he later admitted to the warranty company, but more importantly, my system has TWO check valves! Two! And they are really big and highly visible. This guy either has no clue what he's doing, or he's a total scammer hoping the homeowners don't know what he's saying and just accept the denial of coverage. Mostafa also left my heater on all night which costs me about $100. To top it off, he submitted a photo to the insurance company that was not even my equipment! I asked him to please let the insurance company know that he made a mistake in saying I didn't have a check valve, and to also please provide the code violation (which doesn't exist) that resulted in my claim denial. No response. Now first Am is sending me a new technician from a different company with barely higher reviews and similar reports of questionable actions. I'm nervous because the new person is asking who came before him. Part of me wonders if all of these home warranty guys are in cahoots. I hope I'm wrong.

If I could give minus 1000 stars, I would…read more I am writing this so other homeowners are aware. This is my experience with CLEAN CHOICE POOL & SPA, and these are the facts. During routine pool service at my home, their employee opened my main water valve - that was closed for a good reason - without my permission while I had stepped away to Home Depot to buy a shower cartridge. When I returned, water was pouring into my garage. My home flooded from the top level down. One week before Christmas, EVERY room was water damaged and had to be demolished. When it happened, the employee called the owner on speakerphone and said he had made a "huge mistake," explaining what he had done. The owner responded, "Do not tell this to the lady," not realizing he was on speakerphone. That alone says it all. Instead of coming to assess the damage, he claimed that he was out of town and that he could not recall the name of his insurance carrier. From that moment on, they never showed up, neither the owner BOB, neither his son ADAM. I was left alone dealing with the consequences. What followed were more than 4 months of construction, two years of stress, a $5,000 deductible loss, and additional out-of-pocket expenses. Because I had to file through my own insurance, my homeowners policy was not renewed. In California, if you have a single water claim -- regardless of fault -- it is extremely difficult to obtain new coverage. To this day, I have been unable to secure a house insurance, and my mortgage has increased by $600 per month due to this lack of coverage. This experience has had serious financial and personal consequences for me. I have been fooled by their fake smiles and I regret it every day. Now you know and it is up to you to decide who you want to give your business to.
